[redacted]s Vet bill are all for routine care with the exception of ear drops and eye ointment.   I am assuming that her kitten had dirty ears and possibly an irritated eye, given the type of ointment that was administered.   However, there has been no formal diagnosis from her Veterinarian as to what the eye and ear drops were for.   But I have no problem refunding [redacted] for these drops, regardless of the fact that there is no formal diagnosis and regardless of the fact that she waited almost 3 months to provide me with this invoice.   I've written a check to [redacted] to cover the cost of these drops as well as her follow up visit to the Vet.   Attached is a copy of the check written and it will be mailed to her home address.  I've already produced pedigree papers for the kitten that [redacted] has purchased in my previous response.   As far as her kitten going into heat, again I have no medical documentation from her to support this.   However, I also have no way of discerning what this means as kittens go into heat at all different ages depending on anatomy, genetics, environmental factors or the presence of a male cat in the home.   I do not know how to quantify this and I'm not sure what is being asked of me in this instance.

New York State law provides a 14 day health warranty that pet dealers like myself must abide by.   The law states very clearly that if within the first 14 days of purchase a pet is to contract an infectious or contageous illness, then the pet dealer is responsible to reimburse the customer for Veterinary costs incurred to treat the animal...up to the purchase price of the pet.   The law specifically states that the pet owner must provide the pet dealer with a written formal diagnosis from their Veterinarian and must also provide an "unfit for purchase" letter from their Veterinarian which states that the kitten was in fact ill at the time of purchase in order to qualify for this reimbursement.      The fact is that [redacted]'s kitten was not diagnosed within this 14 day period, nor did she produce an "unfit for purchase letter" from her Veterinarian.  There is no email correspondence from [redacted] to my company until 2 months after the purchase of her kitten.   In addition, the document written by her Veterinarian was dated June of 2016, and the kitten was purchased 3 months earlier in March of 2016.  This is well beyond the time limit of the NYS pet health warranty period.   I always honor the health warranty as I am a professional business owner and have been in the pet industry for quite some time.   This is a situation where [redacted] is well beyond the window of time provided by the health warranty and she is seeking reimbursement for something that is not my responsibility. Like I've stated in my previous response, in good faith I would be willing to help her out with some of the costs.   However, I must receive a letter from her Veterinarian stating that there was a sign of this fungal issue within the first 14 days from purchase.     Please also understand that I have worked in the Veterinary arena for many years in my career, and have seen ringworm on young kittens quite often as this is something they are highly prone to.   Although frustrating to deal with, it is a simple fungal skin issue similar to athletes foot in a human.  It is treated topically with creams and medicated bathing.  The cost of treating ringworm in a kitten should never be thousands of dollars unless you are dealing with an unethical Veterinary practice.   If her bills are currently "thousands of dollars" then they have been extremely inflated by the treating Veterinarian.      Kindly have [redacted]s Veterinarian put into writing the fact that there were signs of ringworm in the first 14 days of taking the kitten home, and I will then make sure to compensate her for a reasonable amount for the treatment of this fungal issue. Thank you.

 I HAVE CONTACTED THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES EVERY THING IS DONE BY TEXT MESSAGE. NOTICE IN HIS FIRST SENTENCE IT SAYS I PURCHASED A BEAUTIFUL KITTEN FROM THEIR PLACE. HE NEVER SAW THE KITTEN IT WAS SENT TO THEIR MANHATTAN OFFICE AND HE LEFT OUT PURE BREED SIAMESE. NOTICE THE CONTRACT IT STATES SEAL PT SIAMESES. THE PHONEY COMPANY THEY USES FOR PAPERS CLEARLY STATE SHE IS A MIX SNOW SHOE AND SIAMESE. THAT IS A MIX ANY BREEDER WOULD KNOW THAT. SHE IS NOT WORTH 1800 SHE IS NOT A PEDAGREE. I HAVE CONTACTED THE AMERICAN CAT ASSCATION AND ASPCA. HE HAS BEEN CONTACTED HE TRIED TO TELL ME A SNOW SHOE IS A SIAMESE. KNOW YOUR PRODUCT AND GET IT RIGHT. I HAVE PURCHASED PURE BREEDS BEFORE WITH REAL PAPERS. I CONTACTED HIM THREE TIMES TOLD HIM ABOUT THE PARACITE AND THAT SHE WAS IN HEAT AND FOUR MONTHS I NEEDED HER PAPERS SO MY VET WOULD HAVE A CORRECT DATE LOW AND BEHOLD A COPY OF THE PAPERS WAS SENT BY EMAIL ON FEB * I GOT THE ORIGINAL A FEW WEEKS LATER AND THEY ARE NOT RECOGNIZED BY THE ASSOCIATION. I HAVE VET BILLS ANY WILL GLADLEY FAX THEM OVER TO THE Revdex.com. I PAID FOR A PURE BREED CAT I WANT AN ADJUSTMENT SHE IS A MIX. THATS WHY NO PAPERS ARE GIVEN ON DELIVERY OF THE NEW PET.

I spoke to the owner Debra via email and asked her to provide her phone number but she never responded. She did offer to pay for 1 treatment of parasites, however the issue still remains that her sales rep scammed my son into buying a "teacup" for $2200 when in fact it is not a teacup and rather a full size. I can tell she has had this issue before and makes her customers sign something that says they cannot guarantee size... But nonetheless, you can not tell someone a puppy is a teacup when it is indeed not a teacup. You can tell from their parents whether they will be teacup or not. My family feels scammed by Westchester puppies and kittens and would like to prevent this from happening to others.

Thank you for your reply,As mentioned EARLIER I noticed the ringworm spots within the first 10 days of bringing the kittens home. As stated in my previous letter I did not know what it was so did not bring the kittens to the vet until I noticed the spots growing and some significant hair loss. Westchester puppies has these photos as well as all bills from my vet as well as a letter from my vet with a full diagnosis. If need be I can resend although I find this so taxing and incredibly unprofessional as everything - every bill and note from my vet and all photos of the infected cats have already been sent. If WESTCHESTER puppies refusal to acknowledge the receipt of all bills, vet notes, and photos I will gladly resend everything or am more than happy to post them here - on this website. whichever is better. As well I can put WESTCHESTER puppies in touch with my vet BEDFORD ANIMAL CLINIC and they can discuss the "inflated" price of treatment - although I have been going to this vet for years and have always found them caring and fair.Thank you[redacted]

[redacted] purchased a beautiful kitten from us on December [redacted] 2016.   The kitten was given a health certificate from the Veterinarian which examined her prior to purchase and was in perfect health when leaving our facility.  The kitten was also given all necessary vaccinations up to...

date and age appropriately prior to leaving our facility...all of which was provided to [redacted].  We've also provided [redacted] with all registration paperwork as well.   [redacted] left our facility with a happy, healthy kitten and it is now 10 weeks later and this is the first that I am hearing from her since.  I've attached copies of [redacted]s signed contract, vaccination records, proof of health and proof of registration papers for your reference...all of which [redacted] is in possession of.  The accusations that [redacted] is making seem confusing, vague and without merit.   She has also never produced any medical documentation from her Veterinarian to support these speculative claims that she is making in regards to the quality and health of her kitten.    I welcome any medical documentation that she can produce, but have yet to see anything.All of my supportive documentation is attached here.   I am always available to answer any further questions regarding this matter.
