Anytime Appliance Repair Reviews (25)

This company is very unprofessional. We called them out because of an issue with a diswasher, A [redacted]  to be exact. The person who answered the phone stated that he was one of the only companies that repaired [redacted]  products in the area. He came out to repair the dish washer and was compensated and it was found out that it was not actually repaired. He was called back about the matter and stated that he would send someone back out. Needless to say, several phone calls and text messages later, Its been well over a month if not 2 and the dishwasher is still not repaired. The person who answers the phone is very rude, and has absolutely no customer service skills. I do not see how they stay in business. I could bore you with all the details and intricate conversations that we have shared back and forth, but just know this, You DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! BEWARE!!

We had a good experience from "anytime" from our first call to request
an estimate and service through having our washer repairedIt went well
and was right on for the repair and quoteWe talked about a problem
with our dishwasher afterwards (not draining completely) and they took a
look at it and found it needed a small partNow both are working well
Thanks again to John & Nick

Two Anytime Appliance Repair repairmen responded to my request to check out the dishwasherAfter much talking and joking ("Two people home, we'll have to charge you double."), etc
They tightened dishwasher door latch screws at the top of the dishwasher doorWe were charged $75.00, and told the washer would not leak againThe technicians signed the receipt of $as guaranteed for one yearThe Anytime Appliance Repair advertises a "One Year Warranty on Parts And Labor" and "Free Service Charge with Repair."

*** of Va had Owner arrested for not having Contractor and HVAC licenseDid not install furnace correctly and not to codeHe did not honor warranty after promises to come fix

The business stands by its 60 day warranty on parts & services. The business is willing to comeback out to the consumer residence, However; there would still be a service charge.

I've used these folks many times since 1997. [redacted] has repaired every kind of appliance for me (I have had 2 rental properties in the Springs) and has always been fair and professional. Twice he has recommended that I replace rather tha repair an appliance. We now live out of town but I trust [redacted] to give me good advice and good service.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company and he stated that he has been out there several times to try to fix the unit and everything was working fine. He said he will go out there some time next week to check on the unit and he asked that the consumer provide a copy of a service ticket from the company...

that fixed the unit showing what was wrong with the unit.

Anytime Appliance Repair has been a lifesaver for my husband and I. We are first time homeowners and had issues with three of our older appliances so far. Every call to Anytime was answered promptly, courteously, and professionally. [redacted] and [redacted] are so friendly and knowledgeable and we never have to worry the work is done incorrectly. Best customer service experience we have had in a long time! Highly recommend!

100% agree with last review. The owner [redacted] just wants your money. Will not follow up on issues. Just lots of promises with no acation. Does not have a license issued by the state to do these repairs.

This is an absolutely terrible business. They are unprofessional and disrespectful. They lack any trace of customer service or professionalism. They will repeatedly flake on you and act like its your fault. They will charge you up front then take the money and run. Avoid this company like the plague.

Review: company came out to repair my dishwasher and could not fix it after 2 visits, I asked for a refund on 10/11 and was advised it would be in my acct on 10/16. it was not in my acct and called the company on 10/18 and they advised me they are giving me a paper check and sending it to me. the company has no office and I spoke with someone over the phone. when I told them I wanted to meet them in person to get the paper check is when I lost contact with them. they will not answer my calls or get back to me after I threatened to go to the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: all I want is a refund since they could not fix my dishwasher

Business

Response:

I spoke [redacted] from the company and he stated that the consumer had been working on the dishwasher and the reason why the consumer only received $[redacted] instead of $[redacted] as a refund is because of the labor time they spent at the consumers home trying to fix the dishwasher.

Review: Anytime Anywhere Appliance Repair - it has taken one month to get my oven fixed..they did come out, got part number and cashed my check..still no part, I called several times there is always an excuse..ie. part takes along time to get, not in yet, lost part number (could I give it to them) we are tracking part, he is so busy, will be there next week, will come today, repairman can come late into evening, and then the best of all "we have wrong part", guess we will return your $314.00! "Not sure when he will cut you a check!" My husband called again today and now the story is "[redacted] does not the have part". I do not know where to go from here!Desired Settlement: Check for full amount, $314.00

[redacted] of Va had Owner arrested for not having Contractor and HVAC license. Did not install furnace correctly and not to code. He did not honor warranty after 5 promises to come fix.

Review: Business came out on 12/20/2014 for repair of a [redacted] refrigerator. I was charged $246.00 for labor and part (a control board). Repairman replaced the board and things seemed to be working properly although the frame around the front display was not fitted properly. Repairman said he would come out another day to correct it. The first time I unplugged the refrigerator and plugged it back in, the display panel did not display anything correctly (i.e. temperature, ice selection, etc.). I called a week later and the repairman came out within a few days. He could not get the display working properly and said he would "do some research". He mentioned that he hated dealing with [redacted] refrigerators because they "always have issues."After not hearing back from the repairman for several weeks, I called the office and spoke with a female who said she would relay my message that I still needed someone to come back. I did not receive a return call so I called again a few weeks later and left a message. Still no return call. I called again about a month later and spoke with someone who claimed to be the owner. He said he remembered the issue and would talk to the repairman, then get back to me. Again, I heard nothing for weeks. I called twice more over the next two months, once leaving a message and the next time speaking again with the someone who claimed to be the owner. He said either he or the repairman would schedule a time to come out and that's the last contact I've had with them.Desired Settlement: I'm out $246 and my refrigerator is still not working properly. The settings are not displayed so I cannot use, nor sell, the refrigerator in its current condition.

I've looked extensively but cannot seem to find my copy of the Work/Service Order. I have, however, attached a copy of the bank statement showing the charge. It seems to me that the business should be able to cross-reference their records for both the date and the amount in order to locate a copy of the Work/Service order.

Review: This is my second complaint against anytime anywhere appliance. The timer knob on dryer does not work, the dryer will not shut off. It also gets very hot, hotter than what it is suppose to be. Called him and said that he would not do anything and he voided my warranty. The reason why he voided warranty was he didn't like how he was talked to. He seems to have his facts turned around, he was the one yelling at a 97 year old woman, not me. This man has no right being in business. In my first complaint, I wanted my $289 back as I do so more today. Has a bad habit of hanging up on people when trying to explain the problems.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. ($289)

Business

Response:

Revdex.com spoke with the business. He stated that the customer was outside of there 30 day warranty. The business did send a tech out to the home but the issue with the time knob is an issue with the vent needed to be cleaned. That is not a covered service and the customer did not want to pay to have the service done. At this time the warranty has expired and no more work is covered.

Regards,

The customer reached out to Revdex.com and said that this was not correct. He called the day after he got the items in his home with an issue. From the start the business and his techs were rude. He wants a working item or a refund. If the business can't fix the product they sold that is find but he wants a refund for the price he paid.

Review: 10/15, hired Anytime Anywhere Appliance to fix my ** refrigerator. The appliance was frozen and the owner replaced the heater. 11/19, the owner came back out because the appliance was again frozen causing the temperature to not work resulting in food spoilage. Owner said when you replace the heater you also have to replace the board, the two parts go hand in hand, this is not something he had told us on the first trip. After disputing the situation I agreed to pay for the part and allow him to make the repair. He said to allow a complete defrost before turning the fridge back on and to call at the first sign of frost in appliance, even on a weekend, not to wait until it stops working. 12/17, called to report frost, employee named [redacted] came to look at it said it was a normal amount of frost, keep an eye on it, and turned the temps down from 6 to 5 and that we could call him directly. 12/21, Called [redacted] to report the temps in freezer and fridge were up (15/55) and food was starting to spoil and more frost was apparent. He said he was on his way to see the owner and that we need to remove food and start a defrost and theyll be out Monday. 12/23, 2pm called [redacted] cause nobody had been out, he said the owner told him hed come by first thing in morning. Called companies 3 phone lines and they just rang and rang or went to a full voice mail. 5pm secretary answered I explained situation she said shed have owner call me right away. 6:30pm owner called said hed be out on 26th to replace heater, board and temp gauge. He wanted me to plug fridge back in. He said SINCE IT HAD A COMPLETE DEFROST ITLL WORK FOR AWHILE BEFORE IT FREEZES BACK UP. 12/26, no show/no call for second time. 12/27, called them at 11am owner said he would come out on Monday the 31st between 9-10am that they were busy right now. I explained I already had 2 no shows and that I would not take off of work again to wait around so they needed to call 30 min before arrival. 12/31, no show/no call for the 3rd time.Desired Settlement: I'm requesting a refund for parts. Our first service call was $268 which included labor and parts so I'm requesting $134.00 be refunded from that visit. Our 2nd call cost $150, that was entirely toward parts. I'm requesting total refund of $284.00. Not asking for time I missed from work waiting for several no shows or food spoilage after first repair. The parts have warranties so they are welcome to schedule a time to come pick up the parts or entire fridge since it's in non working condition.

Business

Response:

I spoke with the company and they stated that they would be willing to go back out and see what is going on and if there is nothing wrong with the fridge, they business will have to charge a service fee. The company advised the consumer to contact them to discuss the problem further.

What they are offering is not acceptable and is a route that

we already attempted on numerous occasions. The company already concluded the refrigerator

is not working correctly. After having the same problems for the 3rd time the company scheduled an appointment on December

23 and they were a no show/no call. The company scheduled an appointment on

December 26th and they were a no show/no call. The company scheduled

an appointment on December 31st and again was a no show/no call. Their

commitment to come out and resolve the issue has already been proven to be

lacking. Furthermore, after the owner told us to defrost the appliance and then

it would work temporarily made us question the previous work that he completed,

which included a defrost at each visit. This has made us feel like his repairs

have been incorrect and that this entire situation is not trust worthy. Their website states “The team at Anytime

Appliance is committed to customer service, if it’s not right, we’ll make it

right.” I have given them MORE than enough opportunities to do that. At this

point I am again requesting a partial refund of $268 which is for parts only and the

company can come get the parts if they want since they are still under a manufacture warranty for

a year.
