Needed a trustworthy supplier to quickly obtain an oxygen concentrator from. Andrew provided me with some options and send the unit very quickly.
He is honest, kind, and understanding. Keep in mind that he seems to be running a considerable part of the company on his own. We are satisfied with the unit and will shop from O2Assist again.

I purchased a portable oxygen concentrator from Andrew a little over a year ago. He assured me that if our needs changed, the company would purchase the unit back and we could change to another. When my husband passed away, I sent the unit back as instructed, more than two months ago. I have had trouble getting in touch with Andrew and when I do, he always had some excuse for why he hadn’t gotten around to my refund. Finally, last week, after putting me on hold for over 15 minutes he told me he could only refund me $200 for the unit - which cost me $2250! He said that the unit had not been used enough and the filtering sand was clumping. I was very frustrated because I was never informed that it had to be continually used. I purchased it to be used when we went away from home, which was infrequently, bc my husband was a quadriplegic.
Andrew said he would look into a warranty repair and would then get back to me. That was over a week ago and I have heard nothing. I am starting to suspect this is some sort of scam at worst, or simply horrible customer service at best. He has thanked for for my patience, but it has finally run out.

02 assist assures their customers to send their oxygen equipment after an agreed upon dollar figure, based on serial numbers of our equipment and sent pre paid Fed Ex shipping labels. We agreed upon $1100.00. packaged up equipment, sent to them everything agreed upon in terms of equipment, accessories etc. and then we’ve been getting the run around ever since. I had to call to inquire after 2 weeks what is going on, and the guy Andrew, who is smooth talker offers a low ball amount claiming the equipment isn’t working properly. Our equipment was virtually brand new with only s few hours of usage time. They lowballed the offer saying there were problems with the equipment and they offered $825.00. After much chatter and aggressive insistence by Andrew, I settled on $925.00, we just want our money at this point.
I’ve called and emailed more than 5 times, and it’s been a little over a month. The follow up in beginning of process to convince you to send equipment is much different than after it’s sent. We were told a check would be sent to us over 2 weeks ago, and of course we nothing. We call repeatedly and now he tells us he’s going to h. Ave to check with his Tennessee office. They never call back with updates. A request by our estates’ attorney asked that they send an email with their verbal agreement of how much they’ll pay and to include the equipment we sent them. We received nothing, no phone call, no update. All we get is a runaround and We feel we’re just being lied to until maybe we go away. Other reviews have mentioned similar practices. We asked them to send the check or return our equipment. We’re ready to take legal action no matter what it costs. It’s the principle of the matter, can’t imagine how many times they did this to others.

The home oxygen concentrator does not work. We sent a check for $875 for the portable unit. We donate these machines to Veterans so we get nothing out of being a smooth talker. We will be happy to ship you back the home unit if you wish to pay the shipping.

Thank you,

Andrew

Beware using this company. He uses sly tactics and operates a rigged game taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. When I first called, he quoted $1000 for the portable unit which is virtually brand new and only used for a few days. The home unit he quoted $100. Units were in perfect working order and sent in manufactures original packaging with all contents included. Communication with this company is great when they’re trolling along, looking to set the hook. Everything was done orderly and they sent shipping labels right away. As soon as we shipped the equipment out, it was a constant battle to just get a hold of them. Everything from “let me check on what’s going on and I’ll get back to you”, “oh, yeah, we had to offer much lower because the unit wasn’t working properly”, “we’ll get a check out tomorrow “, “oh, you sent the email to the address on the website, that’s not MY email address, that’s why I never saw it”, the best one was, “I have to contact the office in Tennessee to get a check out for you”. This guy is a scammer big time, and maneuvers every which way to avoid paying what he alludes he will initially to lure you in. There is no way on God’s green earth he is on the up and up. All dealings we experienced showed us he never intended to stand by his word. Never reached out to finalize the deal. Repeated phone calls leaving us with constant stall tactics, never once suggesting they could send back our equipment if we weren’t happy, the shipping costs are probably rigged to be exorbitant so no one would agree to that choice. Do yourself a favor, don’t use this place. I later saw similar bad reviews and experiences just like what we found online and only wished I was more diligent when doing my research on other more reputable companies.

I recently purchased a portable oxygen generator from O2 Assist and could not be happier with the product and service. Andrew K answered all my questions (no pressure) and I obtained a better price than I was expecting. The product was brand new and was delivered to my home near Phoenix in less than 48 hours. I highly recommend.
