I have had the opportunity to review this complaintFirst of all, had we know the consumer had passed away; we would have never called the number on the file. All calls into or out of our office are recordedEvery call that is made is documented by the system and the employees
have no control over if they are going to document a call or notWhy this is important is I have attached a call log that shows two messages that were left on *** *** phone number ###-###-####At NO time have we had a conversation with Mr*** nor was he told by anyone in this office he was going to be call timesI would like to point out the account in question was assigned to our office on August 31, (days ago)There is no way our office had called Mr*** for months as set forth in the complaint

There were three out bound phone calls to the number ###-###-####I have attached a report from our phone system showing three outbound callsAll three resulted in a recorder coming on and Apple recovery employees leaving a message. At no time did any employee talk to a live personI do show one inbound call in which the call lasted about secondsI have attached a copy of the recording for your reviewAs you will hear, the gentleman who called in asked for the name of the company in which Mr*** *** gave him Apple RecoveryThe gentleman did not ask to have the number removedSince there was no request to remove his number, the number was not removed until we received this complaint
While I do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, Apple recovery finds no merit in this complaintI do assure you the number has been removed as of the date of this response

Additionally, we make every reasonable effort to work with an individual or business that wants to make an effort to resolve a situation where...

we have become involved. Due to the sensitive nature of our business, we cannot get into any specifics on individual cases. We have investigated the situation on our end and we do not believe that our agent acted in any way described in the above review. The above individual is more than welcome to re-contact our office and speak with another representative to see if we can resolve their concern. Constantly calling and NOT leaving a message! I have no idea why this company is calling me. I am on my phone trying to WORK during the day and this company calls repeatedly with no mention as to why. When answering the phone you get no response just dead air. The only reason I know who it is, is because I googled the damn number. I do not like being harassed by bill collectors who refuse to say why they are calling! If it was legitimate I'm sure you could provide some explanation but my guess is this is a scam.

under no circumstances do I agree with this response there should be a recording of.they are truthfully recording the calls this person that called me was threatening telling me is was going to regret not having time to
hearhim and he could not tell me what this company he was calling me about was ", it's sad that these companies think this practice of threatening is acceptable and praised.  I again am nailing a report with the [redacted] as these practices are illegal had he spoken professionally I doubt you would be getting this complaint. I doubted they'd be honest enough to admit his manurism was unprofessional as they pretty much admit this is how they are trained if they felt no wrong in his call.  I Hank you for addressing my issue and I stand by my disappointment with this companies practice.

reasonable effort to work with an individual or business that wants to make an effort to honor their obligations to our clients. We have reviewed the complaint and the true nature of the complaint is that that our representatives wanted to continue to discuss a resolution of the account that we are handling instead of acknowledging this individuals medical issues. Based on the nature of the complaint and the likelihood that we will be unable to resolve this account with this individual, we are ceasing communications with them and will return the account to our client. We will have no further communication with this individual. I would like to address the consumers concerns. Any e-mail sent to our office unless directed to a personal e-mail will be cc to every executive in the office. I have checked and no e-mail has been received from the consumer. I am not saying she...

did not send one, but we had not received it. I have asked my IT manager to review to ensure we are getting all e-mails. The reason we don’t leave any personal information on her phone is because of privacy. The [redacted] aka the [redacted] prohibits the disclosure of personal information without the express permission from the consumer. Then that permission has to be directed to a third party to whom we can disclose the personal information.  So based on the [redacted] and not receiving an e-mail, no information could have been left on the consumer recorder. 

I would like to address the parent’s number being called. While the number supplied to me by my client or by our vendors I have no idea who these numbers belong to. They are ID as a number the consumer is affiliated with. Once in contact with the concern we verify all phone number on file to ensure they are correct numbers to reach the consumer at. Also at that time, we get express permission to send e-mails to the consumer.

While I understand the consumer frustration with our company, I would like to have the consumer call me directly so I can ensure the removal of the parent’s number and advise her reason for the call.

I would like to apologize to the consumer for the inconvenience this has caused and assure her we are here to work with her on this matter.

I do show one inbound call in which the call lasted about 28 seconds. I have attached a copy of the recording for your review. As you will hear, the gentleman who called in asked for the name of the company in which Mr. [redacted] gave him Apple Recovery. The gentleman did not ask to have the number removed. Since there was no request to remove his number, the number was not removed until we received this complaint.

While I do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, Apple recovery finds no merit in this complaint. I do assure you the number has been removed as of the date of this response.
