Apple Recovery Reviews (37)

There was a business I recently looking forward to purchase right when I had my name change under secretary of state unfortunately the seller had close down before I got a chance being a new owner. I have been receiving numerous calls regarding my name under some loan I dont even know about. I have explained to several of the agents in there company and yet they still called me. This is a harassment therefore I will be seeking an attorney to solve this issue. I cannot tolerate someone trying to get something out of me which therefore nothing's there to even get. I will definitely look forward to this matter as apple recovery is trying to make.

To whom it may concern:This account in question was assigned to Apple Recovery on October13, 2014. Our first and only contact with the consumer was on October 17,2014.During this conversation the consumer stated this account is fraud and shewould fax all information over on...

October 20, 2014. To date we have received neitherdocumentation nor a courtesy call back. In reviewing the complaint with myclient they were not aware of anything being filed with any government agency. We have since closed this account and returned it back toour client.  While I do appreciate the consumer stating in her complaint thatthe rep was not rude, our policy is to follows the FDCPA. If a consumer has a disputewe stop all collection activity and investigate. It is unfortunate the consumerdid not allow us the opportunity to resolve her account for her. I wouldsuggest she contact the original creditor in this matter since we have closedthis file and sent it back to our client. [redacted]Vice President of OperationsApple Recovery, LLC[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,[redacted]

I have had the opportunity to review this complaint. First of all, had we know the consumer had passed away; we would have never called the number on the file. All calls into or out of our office are recorded. Every call that is made is documented by the system and the employees...

have no control over if they are going to document a call or not. Why this is important is I have attached a call log that shows two messages that were left on [redacted] phone number ###-###-####. At NO time have we had a conversation with Mr. [redacted] nor was he told by anyone in this office he was going to be call 100 times. I would like to point out the account in question was assigned to our office on August 31, 2014 (12 days ago). There is no way our office had called Mr. [redacted] for months as set forth in the complaint.

Apple recovery takes complaints very seriously. I have removed the number in question and no further calls will be made to Mr. [redacted] number.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at the numbers below.

Apple Recovery, LLC

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. There may have been other collection agencies over the past 4 years that have called me, but the point is, if the debt gets sold off to another company to retrieve, the notes should go with them and there should be no calls made to the parties that have requested the collection companies to do so. I accept the fact that the calls may not all have been from Apple, but regardless they keep coming. And they need to stop. If no further calls come to me in regards to this collection, I consider that a win finally for me after years. If any further calls come to me in regards to this collection, I will not hesitate to report it again.Regards,[redacted]

Apple Recovery, LLC. prides itself on working within the laws and regulations that govern our industry as well as any specific state laws where applicable. Additionally, we make every reasonable effort to work with an individual or business that wants to make an effort to resolve a situation...

where we have become involved. Due to the sensitive nature of our business, we cannot get into any specifics on individual cases. We have investigated the situation on our end and we do not believe that our agent acted in any way described in the above review. The above individual is more than welcome to re-contact our office and speak with another representative to see if we can resolve their concern. Based on the information in the review, we have removed the individuals phone number and will not contact them again.Respectfully, Apple Recovery, LLC

Review: We are not the person nor do we know the person being pursued by this company! We have received numerous calls. Unfortunately, we must have shared this phone number. We have had this number since 2010.Desired Settlement: No more calls for Felicia....

To whom it may concern:The phone number in question was supplied to us by the creditor. This is the first time we have heard we are calling a wrong number. Had the consumer called our office and advised us it was the wrong number it would have been removed. We were not given this opportunity. I have removed the number at this and no further call will be made to this number.Thank you.

Review: My complaint actually covers more than one area. They contact me at times when I am not avail and they also called my parents (I have not lived there in 6 years) and my parents told them that I do not live there and not to call back. I left them a message that I wanted them to leave me a message on my phone telling me who I owe and how much and that I didn't like them calling a number that I have not lived at in so long and to please not call them. I got a message from them, but all it said was to call them. No info like I asked for. I also emailed them telling them that I do better with emails most of the time anyway and to please let me know who I owe and how much. I never received a response from that. They then proceeded to call my parents house again after being asked twice to please not call there.Desired Settlement: All I want is a letter, email, or voicemail telling me how much I owe and to who. I wouldn't think it would be difficult

To whom it may concern:

I would like to address the consumers concerns. Any e-mail sent to our office unless directed to a personal e-mail will be cc to every executive in the office. I have checked and no e-mail has been received from the consumer. I am not saying she did not send one, but we had not received it. I have asked my IT manager to review to ensure we are getting all e-mails. The reason we don’t leave any personal information on her phone is because of privacy. The [redacted] aka the [redacted] prohibits the disclosure of personal information without the express permission from the consumer. Then that permission has to be directed to a third party to whom we can disclose the personal information. So based on the [redacted] and not receiving an e-mail, no information could have been left on the consumer recorder.

I would like to address the parent’s number being called. While the number supplied to me by my client or by our vendors I have no idea who these numbers belong to. They are ID as a number the consumer is affiliated with. Once in contact with the concern we verify all phone number on file to ensure they are correct numbers to reach the consumer at. Also at that time, we get express permission to send e-mails to the consumer.

While I understand the consumer frustration with our company, I would like to have the consumer call me directly so I can ensure the removal of the parent’s number and advise her reason for the call.

I would like to apologize to the consumer for the inconvenience this has caused and assure her we are here to work with her on this matter.

Thank you,

VP of Operations

Review: I have been receiving collection calls on my cell phone from this company for "[redacted]". I am not [redacted] and I don't know anyone by that name. I have no idea how they got my cell number. I have been assured by Apple Recovery that my number would be deleted, but the calls continue. I have specifically requested the name and contact information of the creditor, but Apple Recovery has refused to provide this information. When I asked a second time for the creditor's name, "[redacted]" simply hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I want the name and contact information for the creditor so that I can require the creditor to stop bothering me about a debt that is not mine.

I also want Apple Recovery to stop contacting me.

To whom it may concern:

I have taken the opportunity to investigate this complaint to the fullest. I would like to also point out that all complaints that are made against Apple Recovery are taken very seriously. I would like to address the allegation in this complaint.

There were three out bound phone calls to the number ###-###-####. I have attached a report from our phone system showing three outbound calls. All three resulted in a recorder coming on and Apple recovery employees leaving a message. At no time did any employee talk to a live person. I do show one inbound call in which the call lasted about 28 seconds. I have attached a copy of the recording for your review. As you will hear, the gentleman who called in asked for the name of the company in which Mr. [redacted] gave him Apple Recovery. The gentleman did not ask to have the number removed. Since there was no request to remove his number, the number was not removed until we received this complaint.

While I do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, Apple recovery finds no merit in this complaint. I do assure you the number has been removed as of the date of this response.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly at ###-###-####.

Review: This company has called my place of business and harassed my receptionist. hanging up on her before she could tell him not to contact them via work. I will be terminated for personal phone calls at work. I ask that they do not contract me for any reason via phone. if they can put something in writing that I can submit to the Revdex.com due to not having any kind of credit with anyone. I pay cash for all of my bills.Desired Settlement: to stop contacting me.

Response:

I have taken the time to listen to the recording of the call in question. At no time did the rep hung up on anyone. In fact, at the end of the call the rep stated he would try back later and said goodbye. It appears the consumer has no intention of trying to resolve her financial issue. I have closed the file and sent it back to my client as a refusal to pay.Thank you, [redacted]VP Operations###-###-####

Mr. [redacted], An agent from Apple Recovery LLC, repeatedly called within minutes of each other.

Each time he left a voice mail message.

During those messages he failed to mention he was attempting to collect a debt.

Mr. [redacted] also failed to mention his company, Apple Recovery LLC.

Repeatedly calling and not identifying a purpose or company is a violation of the [redacted].

I would advise against using a debt recovery company that employs such unlawful tactics.

Review: I have been receiving collection calls for [redacted]. He was a good friend of mine that used me as a reference for something over 5 years ago. [redacted] was killed in a car accident and no longer is alive. I have told them every time they call and they say they will remove me from the list, but they call monthly. I block the number and they all from another. I have been threatened to be called 100 times a day when I complained and begged them to stop calling. I'm considering legal action and would greatly appreciate follow up to this compliant. ThanksDesired Settlement: No more calls please

Review: I was contacted twice by this agency. The first time there were no problems. The agent was pleasant & understood my circumstances. However, today's phone call was anything but pleasant. The first person I spoke to was very condescending & told me I was refusing to pay my debt. I raised my voice with him to say that I am not refusing to pay. I have extremely extenuating circumstances preventing me from doing so at the moment. He then yelled at me wanting to know who did I think I was talking to. I asked to speak to his supervisor. That man was even more condescending, telling me this was my fault & that I don't deserve respect. I am up to my ears in stress with serious medical issues & medical bills. After the downright disrespect I received from the so called supervisor, I threw it back at him & yelled some profanities. I own that, I completely do. However, you people don't know the extent of what I am going through & have been going through since last year. You have no right to use such hateful collection practices. If your intent is to scare me, you failed. I have contacted an attorney & know my rights where this is concerned. I want the calls to stop immediately. I refuse to have contact with anyone that would talk down to me & treat me in the manner in which I was treated today. Furthermore. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC.Desired Settlement: No more harassing phone calls.

Good Morning, Apple Recovery, LLC appreciates the opportunity to respond to the above complaint. Apple Recovery, LLC. prides itself on working within the laws and regulations that govern our industry as well as any specific state laws where applicable. Additionally, we make every reasonable effort to work with an individual or business that wants to make an effort to honor their obligations to our clients. We have reviewed the complaint and the true nature of the complaint is that that our representatives wanted to continue to discuss a resolution of the account that we are handling instead of acknowledging this individuals medical issues. Based on the nature of the complaint and the likelihood that we will be unable to resolve this account with this individual, we are ceasing communications with them and will return the account to our client. We will have no further communication with this individual. One point that must be made is that we were attempting to reach this individual on a commercial matter, not consumer. Respectfully, Mike G[redacted]Vice President of OperationsApple Recovery, LLC[redacted]Phoenix, AZ 85044Bus# [redacted]Cell# [redacted][email protected]

I received a phone call from Mrs. C[redacted] last night and she was one of the rudest people I had ever spoken to .. She was just a flat out [redacted] on the phone she had the nerve to argue with me because I couldn't retrieve a phone number out of my phone while on the phone with her !! I'm sorry my phone is old it does what it needs to and that's it . Not only that but then she calls my entire family and my ex-wife's family who the [redacted] does this company think they are? it's nobody's business what is going on in my life on top of all of this she tells me she's gonna run my credit wich they don't have the authorization to do so with out my permission and then she says I'll do what I want !!! Once again who the [redacted] do I think you are ?

Bottom line is you call and harass me or my family again and or run my credit without my permission you will be getting a letter from an attorney or one [redacted] off guy in your office in Arizona!!!

Review: This company called me and mailed me about an alleged debt from 2007. Various known scam collection agencies were rude and abusive beginning around June of 2011, when I was first contacted by a scam agency. I filed all [redacted] fraud documentation with all three credit bureaus in 2011 and, as a result, have had a fraud alert on my credit reports.. Over the last 3 years, I have received threatening calls from other "scam" phone numbers and upon informing them of the circumstances, they first got abusive and then hung up. The account in question was presumably with [redacted]'s [redacted] card. Upon contacting [redacted], [redacted], and even [redacted] ([redacted]'s other card), I was told that none of them could even identify the card number. They said I owed them nothing! I knew that because I have never had a [redacted] Credit Card. I just needed to do my homework before I filed the [redacted] documents. I wouldn't have known this was about [redacted] if one of the "agents" at one of the scam agencies hadn't slipped up and revealed it. They later said that they should not have told me that. Apple Recovery is just one of a long line of agencies that has since tried to get me to pay this false debt, though they have not been rude or abusive as of yet, None of them can produce any proof that it is valid. It isn't, that"s why. Apple's account ID is [redacted]. The amount has varied over the years from $765.00 to $1,195.00.Desired Settlement: I wish for Apple recovery to cease and desist. I wish for them to send a letter stating that they have done so. I want to know where this information is hiding. Where did they get it? Why does it keep recurring even though it's been 7 years since it's alleged inception?

Regards,

Review: I have no idea why this company has called my cell phone 16 times. Today I was in an area where I had reception the man told me who he was then stated my address and wanted me to confirm even though I still had no idea what the company was or who he was. I confirmed even though uneasy, asked him what this was regarding, he said before he could tell me I had to verify my social security number. I refused (I have dealt identity theft in the past),and told him to mail me whatever info he has and to not call my phone any more. He said the calls would continue, I told him if he could not tell me what he was calling for to no longer call my phone. He refused. I eventually hung up, but should not have to tolerate harassment from a company that will not tell me what they want, other than my social security #. Looked up company them & found out they are low end debt collectors, not very Revdex.com like.Desired Settlement: Stop contacting me

Business

Response:

I have had the opportunity to review the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted]. Based on the information she has supplied we have no record of ###-###-#### as being called from our office. I have also looked for a call made to an “ [redacted]” and found no record of such person.

Apple Recovery takes complaints very seriously and will investigate all allegations from the number of calls to listening to the recordings. Without know what number was called I can’t investigate if there was any wrongdoing on Apple Recovery’s part. I would ask that the consumer supply the phone that was call 16 times so I may pull the recordings and determine the number of calls that were made.

Apple Recovery is very concerned with Identity theft as well. No rep that is employed by Apple Recovery will request a full Social Security number, they would have asked for the last four. When someone Social Security matches, our company requires one additional verification and that normally is the address. But again, without the phone number that was called I can’t determine what happen on this call.

I would ask that the consumer please supply the number that was called 16 times so we may investigate and listen to the actual call to determine what action needs to be taken. I will be more then happen to turn over the phone logs as well as our recording to the Revdex.com to ensure a complete investigation has been done.

I would like to apologize in advance for the inconvenience this has caused and want to ensure Ms. [redacted] and the Revdex.com we will take the appropriate disciplinary once a complete investigation has been completed.

If you have any question or if Ms. [redacted] would like to contact me directly at ###-###-####

Review: Pursuant to my rights under federal debt collection laws, I am requesting that they cease and desist communication with me, as well as my family and friends, and calling my work in relation to this and all other alleged debts you claim I owe.

I would like hereby notified that if you do not comply with this request, I will immediately file a complaint with the [redacted] and the [redacted] office. Civil and criminal claims will be pursued.
