I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

We need more details before we can address your complaint.  Please provide us with copies of the toll bills so we can verify the information and investigate the matter further.

Ms. [redacted] purchased a vehicle on 11-7-14. She put $400 Cash down as well as a a trade in. She also agreed to make a $2000 deferred down payment on 2-21-15. I have attached a initialed copy of her contract by the payment terms. We do this so the customer fully understands her payment schedule ie:...

Due dates, amounts ect. Approved Auto does not sell nor market auto insurance. As in any loan and per KY state law cars must be insured before they leave any dealership. Ms. [redacted] paid $400 down for her down payment NOT insurance. I am sorry Ms. [redacted] lost her car but Approved Auto has done nothing wrong. We in detail explain payments and terms, have customers sign and initial documents stating they understand the paperwork they are signing. We are considering this a case close manner and wish Ms. [redacted] luck in her next vehicle.

[redacted]I was sold a lemon car there are more customers from them with complaints I put my trust in them to have a reliable car. Put money down and then he to turn around for. Week and a half to have to spend money on a rental when I purchased a car. They are selling/finicaning lemon cars. If I have to I will get a list of 100 people to sign and take it to an attorney they need to shut down. Just taking people's money and do not have good quality cars and that's why they need to shut down. There's a lemon law for as is cars also.

We apologize that you had a mechanical problem with your vehicle.  Fortunately, it is under factory warranty and Ford is repairing it for you at their dealership.  Please understand that we are not the manufacturer of your vehicle and thus the reason we directed you to a ford...

dealership.  They are better equipped to repair your car and have certified mechanics to honor the factory warranty.  Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes I can request one be sent out to me and upload it on here

This is in response to a complaint about an internet sale add. We do all types of financing and actually do a lot of zero down transactions. People with qualified credit can and do buy everyday with no money down. Mr. [redacted]'s credit did not qualify for the special he is referring to. As stated...

on our website all sales are plus tax, fees and with approved credit. The adds are not misleading he simply did not qualify. If Mr. [redacted] would like to come back in as long as he can meet the minimum criteria of $1400 minimum monthly income with a job, has no more than 1 repossession and can get full coverage insurance he will qualify for a vehicle user $6995.
There are no deceptive advertising practices, he simply did not qualify per the disclaimer on our website.
We are considering this a case closed matter..
Thanks

[redacted]Ms. [redacted] purchased a vehicle AS-IS from Approved Auto. She signed several forms understanding that the vehicle is AS-IS with no refunds and I have attached those documents....

She also declined to purchase an extended warranty. Here at Approved Auto we never wish anyone any troubles, but make it clear these are used vehicles and there are no refunds or exchanges. However in good faith we have fixed her vehicle at no charge to her and the other issue she had was that the car was out of gas. This was compounded by the gas gauge being a quarter of a tank off. We are also fixing that. While cars are sold AS-IS with no obligation by the dealer, we are attempting to correct the issue free of charge. We are considering this a case closed matter. Approved Auto of America

Mr. [redacted] purchased a car and signed a NOTICE about getting his KY Inspection. We made several attempts to contact him including 2 mailed letters with no response. It is KY Law that we register the cars in a timely manner. We had several phone calls along with 2 mailed letters. Mr. [redacted]'s payment...

was also late along with no proof of full coverage insurance. All of these matters were taken into consideration before the car was repossessed. I have attached the NOTICE he signed. We are considering this a case closed matter. Thanks Approved Auto of America

Regards,
[redacted]'s understand that and I was irate and upset. However I don't think it's fair I am banned from to lot per the security guards decision. That means I have to pay on the phone or online which results in an additional $5.00 a month. No where in the contractual agreements I signed stated if this type of situation occurs you will be penalized to pay $5.00 more per month I find that to be quite unethical since my car payment is already $200.00 bi weekly. I'm not even upset anymore since I found a trusted mechanic I just don't want to pay any extra fees that I didn't agree to.

Ms. [redacted] purchased the above car and had a transmission issue. The car was purchased AS-IS from Approved Auto. We do not want anyone to have problems and she did. We then at our expense, sent it [redacted]. They fixed it and she picked it up. She had another issue and called us. We then...

advised to her return it to [redacted] and she did. They are looking at it as we speak this morning but cannot find anything wrong. They are going to double check everything and call the customer to pickup the vehicle.  At this point we are making every effort to fix the problem at no charge for Ms. [redacted]. Hopefully the problem will be resolved by the end of the day. Thanks Approved Auto

We are sorry you feel this way, but putting over 25,000 miles in 6 months exceeds any vehicle's capability. You should have purchased a commercial vehicle. You are driving 4 times the normal amount most people drive in a year. We ran an [redacted] vehicle history report and it shows the vehicle was...

accident free when we sold it. We have no further comment and cannot help you in any way since you have exceed normal driving conditions. You have had a used vehicle for over 7 months, putting over 25,000 miles on it and you are upset with the selling dealer? My advise for you would be to speak with [redacted] and have them work with you on your payments. Thanks[redacted]Approved Auto of America

Ms [redacted] purchased a vehicle AS-IS from Approved Auto of America on 10-1-16. I have attached our forms explaining we have a NO REFUND or NO EXCHANGE policy that she signed. I have also attached the Statement of understanding where she acknowledged she is buying a used vehicle that may have...

problems. Additionally I have attached the federal AS-IS form. With that said we do not wish anyone to ever have any problems and we spent over $500 as "goodwill" towards the repairs and the vehicle seems to be in working condition. We are sorry this is unacceptable but the vehicle was purchased AS-IS from Approved Auto. She does have a warranty through ASC Warranty company, a third party company.  -- [redacted] VP of Operations Approved Auto of America  Dixie Finance Company

Ms. [redacted] purchased a vehicle and agreed to the terms of her contract. Most finance companies require there collateral to be secured through insurance. [redacted] is no different. Her contract and  Agreement to provide Insurance both state the policy must have Comp/Collision coverage...

no higher than $500. This both protects the finance company against too expensive out of pocket expenses as well as the customer from having to pay that much more out of pocket. Most companies require either $250 or $500 deductibles. We in no way mislead or deceive our customers. Any finance company, bank or car dealership will have set deductible guidelines and disclose them as we did and do. We are considering this a case closed manner.

We are sorry that [redacted] had issues with her vehicle.  We do our best to make sure that does not happen, but unfortunately with used cars mechanical issues can sometimes be unavoidable.  [redacted] did purchase a service agreement with her vehicle.  When her motor went out, the warranty company agreed to pay a portion of the costs per their contract.  Out of goodwill, we decided to pay the difference so that [redacted] did not have to pay any out of pocket fee's for her engine repair.  [redacted] paid zero out of pocket for an engine repair that cost over [redacted]  If she has any minor repair issues with her vehicle, she would be responsible for the cost as stated in the paperwork she signed during the purchase.  However, we are always willing to work with her on her car payments if she brings in paid receipts.
