I helped select the perfect dress for Miss [redacted] and we did have to special order her size. Unless a dress is in stock it will not arrive in two week nor would we promise a date until we get a ship date from the manufacturer. She was told it would arrive in time for the prom in a few weeks...

and it did arrive as promised. Miss [redacted] came in for a refund because she said she found a dress in another store. I helped her and went and got her special order dress that came in to show her. I brought her the dress and told her if she needed it hemmed to come back later that day with her shoes. She never returned. Monday morning her grandparents arrived and asked for a refund and I explained the situation. They were extremely rude. If there were [redacted] comments then this one should have been " My granddaughter bought the most beautiful dress at Apropos and it arrived a month before the prom".  Instead this girl bought another dress in another store and wanted a refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This is ridiculous. I have provided PROOF that this woman is a LIAR.  My dress was due in August...it is LATE.  I’m now down to a little less than five months and do not have ample time to make modifications and complete fittings.  How this place is still in business is beyond me.  Shame on you Revdex.com for allowing companies like this to continue to take advantage of consumers.

Ms. [redacted] purchased a wedding gown February 4 2017
for her wedding on May 20, 2018.  She gave
a 500.00 deposit required to order her dress. Her dress was made for her and
scheduled to be shipped from the manufacturer around October 30, 2017 Her dress
arrived  in our store on schedule...

and she was called to be told her dress was in on
November 7, 2017. We were unable to leave a message. On November 11, 2017 I
called again and could not leave a message. On December 1, 2017 her mother
called regarding delivery and I tried to return her call that day but the
number that she provided was not in service. Ms [redacted] did answer her phone on
December 1 and told that her dress is in and that we have been trying to reach her. Her dress arrived on schedule her wedding is 7 months
away. She may pick up her dress or schedule a fitting with the seamstress to
make the sleeves that she wants to cover her arms and tattoos

Ms. [redacted] purchased a special order wedding gown on October 24, 2014 for her wedding on May 14, 2015. Her dress was special ordered and she wanted first several months later get a refund since she was now pregnant. I told her that that was impossible since the dress was ordered as a special...

order. She said they would be having a wedding in the fall of 2015. I received a call on May 31, 2017 stating that she wanted a refund. Her dress has been here for several years her balance due is $458.99 and has now incurred a storage fee of $175.00. She told me she was contacting the Revdex.com. I asked her what her complaint would be? We special ordered her a wedding gown in 2014 for a wedding in 2015 it has been waiting for her for two years. I would like the payment within 30 days.
