To Whom It May Concern,
In response to [redacted]'s complaint we would like to state, and remind [redacted],  that at the time of delivery of his vehicle he was informed that he would have to go to Connecticut to take the vehicle for any inspection the State of Connecticut may...

require before Ardmore Nissan could complete his title work. This is true for any vehicle purchased in Pennsylvania and registered out of State. This was explained to [redacted] and it was also offered to him that since he has dual residency, as his employment is in Pennsylvania, it may be a better idea that he title and register the vehicle in Pennsylvania.
[redacted] elected not to do this. He chose to maintain his drivers license and insurance in the state of Connecticut, even though the vehicle would primarily be driven and garaged in Pennsylvania. At that point it was 100% in [redacted]'s hand to drive to Connecticut and bring back an original vehicle inspection form so that we could complete the Connecticut registration process.
Ultimately, after approximately 4 months going back and forth between [redacted], who handles our out of State title work, and after rejections from the State of Connecticut of his title work.  The rejection reasons included the fact that his Connecticut address was on his Pennsylvania insurance card, [redacted] finally agreed to get a Pennsylvania drivers license. Once that happened his title work was expedited by us and at our cost, through Harrisburg and the situation was resolved. We also refunded him any overage of sales tax and/or motor vehicle fees that were collected for Connecticut registration.
When we first received [redacted]'s Revdex.com complaint, he was directly contacted by the owner of Ardmore Nissan, Mr. David S[redacted]. Mr. S[redacted] wanted to try to assuage [redacted]'s concerns and offer to assist him in any way possible, as he does with any client that is not completely happy with their experience at Ardmore Nissan. The result of that phone call was that [redacted] told Mr. S[redacted] that he was very busy and that he would return his call directly. That failed to happen as Mr. S[redacted] has not heard from [redacted] since he reached out to him.
If there is any further information or if we can be of any further assistance, pleae don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Sincerely,
Chrystopher M[redacted]

Review: I recently purchased a 2001 [redacted] from Ardmore Nissan. The sales person informed me that the vehicle had been used as a trade-in for the purchase of another of the dealership’s vehicles. When I had the car inspected by one mechanic, he uncovered some hidden defects. A major defect he found was associated with the car’s body mounts with one mount having completely disintegrated. Another mechanic also indicated to me that he was puzzled as to how this vehicle could have passed inspection since the driver’s side door is difficult to close (you have to slam the door to close it completely). This mechanic felt that the problem with the door was due to the disintegrating body mount. I have attempted to communicate my concerns with **. [redacted] who is the general manager of this dealership. He asked me to bring the vehicle in for his own mechanic to inspect the vehicle. I informed **. [redacted] that the only time I could bring in the car was on a Saturday morning as I worked in New Jersey throughout the week. He told me that he would not have a “certified mechanic” available on a Saturday morning. I told him that I could not take time off from school to bring the car on a weekday. He has continued to insist that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and that I bought the car “as is”. Continued attempts at communication via phone and email have failed to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: While I have selected a refund (since I have offered **. [redacted] the opportunity to buy back this car on a couple of occasions), I would also be satisfied with the repair of the vehicle's hidden defects (i.e., new body mounts being put on the car) courtesy of Ardmore Nissan.

To Whom it may concern:

Review: The dealership is incompetent. My first example is calling to speak with the General Manager multiple times to elevate my lack of service and completion of the registration and licensing of my vehicle by there administration. When speaking with GM, after finally getting a hold of him after leaving him voicemails, he said "its not my problem." After hearing the GM say this to a customer, I lost all faith in the business. Two months after the purchase turned into 6 months of not having my truck registered. They gave me two temporary license plates that were valid for the first 90 days, the next 90 days were spent driving with no tags, and an expired affadavit becasue they "couldn't doing anything about it." The dealership failed to follow-up and return my phone calls. It wasn't until they informed me that person handling my paperwork was fired for incompetence. This just goes to show the lack of service and quality. I was never given any updates on anything. I had to beg over the phone for a resolution, offering my assistance in whatever way. I had to take two days off from work to deal with paperwork that was never sent out. Even after the proper paper work was completed 6 months later, I was owed a refund. It took another three weeks and 5 phone calls to receive.

The service is also unacceptable. Upon purchase an agreement was made for two courtesy services. They tried to charge me twice as "the system didn't recognize." They failed to perform routine service that was agreed upon. Leaving I noticed the oil skid plate was unscrewed. They failed to complete a tire rotation and balance. They left oil on my door. Trips to the dealership were more of headache than a relief and I will never be returning to this dealership.
