I understand the Complainants frustration, but I can assure them that once this was brought to our attention following the 1/collections request, and the completion of the proper paperwork, the account was moved into the Worker's Comp processAs complainant notes, the last collection effort was dated 1/and she has not received anything sinceThis is because on 1/the account was removed from collections and she received exactly what she had demanded through the Revdex.com Santo

I am rejecting this response because: IF ARIA is saying that this is a none-issue, then why have I continued to receive bills, And why did I receive a letter dated 1/27/from *** - A Collection Agency? I am researching other ways to resolve this matter, considering that my employer has also tirelessly tried to get this taken care of this issue, and I have evidence to proof it! If this is TRULY done, I would appreciate ARIA sending me and my employer a letter stating that same
Regards,

Aria is issuing a refund to the complainantIt has been given a rush order, and I would expect he receives it before the end of this week

November 13, 2017Dear *** ***,We are responding to your letter dated November 9, regarding a complaint submitted by *** ***We have investigated the situation and the facts are noted below. The patient has stated that she has not been approved for Charity Care by Aria-***
Health.Aria - *** Health offers Charity Care to those individuals whose income does not exceed 150% of the current year Federal Poverty Level.*** ***' income exceeds the Federal Poverty Level for a household of three persons, which she has indicated is the number of persons in her household. In previous years *** *** income may have fallen below the 150% of the Federal Poverty Level and Aria-*** Health would have been able to extend Charity Care to her in accordance with our policy. Many of our staff have spoken to *** *** on many occasions, and communicated to her that she does not qualify for Charity Care in accordance with our policy and the Federal Poverty LevelWe must follow the established policies on Charity Care in a consistent and fair manner, and have explained that to *** *** each time we have spoken to her.If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact me.Sincerely,Nancy M. Received bill for anesthesia provider who is not in my provider network. I was never informed that an out of network provider would administer anesthesia; in fact, I never met this person. I was given no choice as to who would provide this service. If I was, I would have made certain the physician was in my provider network. I cannot be responsible to pay a fee to a physician who was not made known to me, and was not vetted as an in network provider. My insurance paid this provider $1050. I am being billed for $630.

Billing issues: six office visits and one outpatient surgery were all filed with my insurer for an out of network provider; he is in network. Aria billing office will not contact my insurer to provide the correct tax ID filing numbers that match my insurer's, and vice versa. I cannot get names of managers at Aria billing (only first names) and letters I send to Aria are returned to me. The most recent was stamped 'lockbox closed'. I get reminder calls from Aria that bills are due in 30 days before they are turned over to a collection agency. I
file grievances with my insurer whose response is that they process claims as they receive them from the provider. I feel helpless in this battle.
I have received identical care from another provider at a different facility. My only fee was then was my office visit co-pay.

Billing department misfiled a claim and caused a bill to go to collections where I now have to fight it. All because they misfiled under a previous name and continued to tell me they couldn't find the bill I kept getting sent under old name. I have notes of multiple phone calls I made where they kept reassuring me that it was being filed properly and to ignore the bills. I told them I was worried it would go to collections. The day I got a bill saying it was going to go to collections. I even got my insurance involved to help them file it correctly, but they told my insurance the same thing..they couldn't find bill. Upon my insurance insistence, they sent them further up the chain.. but despite multiple phone calls they never called her back. My insurance is taking up the fight..but I am utterly disgusted with Aria. This is a service that *is* covered..and now my credit is potentially going to suffer while I have to fight it out. Shameful.

On 2/14/2017 [redacted] called the [redacted], which is the agency that handles Aria Health self-pay, to give permission for the company to speak to his spouse regarding his bills. At that time the spouse provided the correct insurance information for the account.  On 2/17/17 the...

account was sent back to Aria Health business office in order to have the account billed to the insurance company. Unfortunately, the particular account did not get changed in the system to reflect the new insurance information and the account was not billed to the insurer.  We sincerely apologize for the lack of follow-up and lack of communication and have addressed this with the staff involved.  The $125 payment will be refunded to the patient. The account has been removed from any and all collection processes and the account has since been closed. The organizations used for collections do not report out to the credit bureaus so there is no impact to [redacted] credit history. Again, we at the Aria Health Physician Billing Department sincerely apologize for this error.
