I inquired about cost for oil per gallon and manager said it was $2.49 per gallon. Then I asked for what amount of oil, he said you can have 50 gal, 100 gal, 150 gal, 200 gal or more for the price. So then I said I would like 100 gal and he said OK. I said to myself that would be $249 total for 100 gal.
Then I get delivery bill charged of $2.95 per gallon totaling $295.
I contacted them and mentioned this and they said that is the price if you only want 100 gal, 200 gal would be $2.49 gal. But I said that male person (possibly manager I smoke when I wanted to buy oil, did not mention another price if it was less than 100 gal. As I laid I above exactly what he said to me. When I called to complain to staff they said I should understand how they work since I have been a customer for many years. But It was not what I heard or was told to me on that call otherwise I would not gone with that higher price for 100 gal nor did they conclude to tell what that price for 100gal would be and the total price. They left me a number of times on hold and kept referring to they price list. However, they fail to tell me would the price was for 100 gal having me believing was getting it for $2.49 gal.

Review: charged my credit card 35 dollars delivery charge for oil .agreement was $1.79 gallon delivered after they delivered the oil they tacked on a $35 charge. bill should have been $209.97 charged my credit card $244.97.Desired Settlement: $35 removed from my credit card.

Review: Ariba Oil owes me a credit on my account. I am trying to close the account and get a refund on the amount of $403.47

I have contacted them with certified letter as well as with phone. They are not issuing a refund. It is over 4 months.

They also made an unauthorized oil delivery and are asking me to pay for it. The refund amount I am asking for is after paying for that unauthorized oil delivery.Desired Settlement: Refund the full amount due to me. I have hard bank records to prove that they owe me this money.

[redacted] got several deliveries and paid on different credit cards. He wanted to get a delivery and when the truck started delivering he told the driver to leave.When he got the bill he decided to charge back a delivery on a credit card used for a different transaction. I was on the phone with the credit card company and [redacted] and they told him he should not charge back a delivery that he accepted was good and already paid for. He charged that back and got confused and sent a check for that chargeback amount.Meanwhile the chargeback came out of our account from the initial chargeback.[redacted] got confused with the different banks that he had cards with, but still wanted to charge back all cards.Once all the chargebacks and checks got straightened out, he was issued a refund check from Ariba Oil. At the beginning we tried to work out the charges but he had his own ideas that conflicted with what his bank told him on a three way conversation with me.If [redacted] had allowed the delivery and not starting mailing checks and initiating chargebacks this would never have been a problem.We make tens of thousands of deliveries a year, unfortunately [redacted] and his ideas on deliveries, checks, banks, and credit cards got everything confused.Refund was issued.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution (by a refund) is satisfactory to me.

However, I do not agree with the explanation of the events as provided by Ariba.Since Ariba has issued a refund, I do not wish to pursue this matter any further.Thank you.
