Our experience with Arizona Painting Company of Tucson Arizona was extremely positive They went above and beyond our expectations and the work ethic and service of the painters *** *** and *** *** were refreshing to say the least We have recommended this company and these two painters to friends who are now using them also

We had our home repainted in November The staff were all excellentThe prep was very thorough and uncovered some wood damage not apparent to usThe paint job was professional and on scheduleWe recommend AZ Painting Company without reservation

THEY USE SUBCONTRACTORS. I hired Arizona painting company to paint the exterior of my two story home. The day prior to the start date I was supposed to receive a confirmation phone call which I never did. So I called them. I was told the painter would arrive approx. 7 am. The painters ended up arriving around 11 3 hours late. The painters proceeded to looked around for 20 min and then left (I assume for lunch) without saying anything. They returned in about an hour. They indicated how it was such a far drive from Tucson and they should have used the painters from chandler, however they eventually got to work. I left them to their work. After 21/2 days of work they indicated they needed the money (job was quoted as a 4-5 day job). He didn't want to walk the house with me but I insisted. I indicated the eves looked like the paint was already peeling (at this point that is all I noticed). He indicated that if I didn't pay he wouldn't get paid he has bill to pay ect. He told be just to call Mon. morning and let the office know they they missed some spots and they would come back. So I paid (I know my fault big mistake). Between the Friday they left and Monday morning I notice how poor of a job they did. When reviewing the contract I noticed it was quoted as a 4-5 day job not 21/2 days. So I called and complained. I indicated everything they had occurred to the receptionist and requested a different team come out to fix it. I received a call from the general manager [redacted] (he also quoted my home). He insisted it would get fixed. I asked he come look at how bad it was. We made and appt. for the next day (Tuesday). The following day [redacted] called and canceled but said his guy would show up the next Monday. The following Saturday without and appointment the original paint crew showed up ad 6:45am waking my family of 10 up. I told the crew to go home and immediately called [redacted]. [redacted] indicated he would call the crew immediately (This is just and indicator at how disorganized this company is) The next Monday a painter showed up by himself (original crew had 3). The painter indicated it was a lot of work and he didn't have help. He scraped a few spots but after and hour said it would take him days by himself. He also said [redacted] insisted he say the house after the first crew messed it up (which was a lie I asked [redacted] twice time to come to my house and he either canceled or declined. Then a third time [redacted] said he would come to my house and he never showed). The painter indicated [redacted] would call to set up a time. After 24 hrs I hadn't heard from [redacted] so I called him. Since [redacted] really had not followed through on anything he said he would do it was a [redacted] and direct conversation in which we agreed the following Monday the painter would come back to fix it. [redacted] also indicated he would show up for the final walk through. They didn't do a very good job but I just wanted it over so I let most things slide. It looks like what you would expect from an amateur not at all a professional job. There were tons of cracks in the eves which the painter indicated it was normal. I showed them the neighbors house which didn't have that issue and I asked them to fill all crack in the eve with smooth patch so moisture wouldn't get in. He said ok but only did it on large cracks. All the peeling paint was scrapped but not sanded. The just but two coats of paint on instead. In some areas it ok and some it still looks pretty bad. The patches the did under the patio where the paint was peeling is very noticeable like and amateur fixed a hole in the wall. There were several areas of over spray on the brick wall. He blew if off and said well is it like this everywhere. I said no so he was like "well I'll have to talk to [redacted] on that one." Never heard anything about that again (though I let it go) Finally there were several areas that had wasp nest which they removed but there is not paint under them. They must have painted over the nest then removed them. Close to the end of the day they were cutting so many corners because I assume they just wanted to go home. I was kinda rushed and [redacted] never showed like he said he would so several areas on the eves were still missed. I was told that although [redacted] would show for the final walk through he would call. No surprise he never called. [redacted] Dirks that general manager really didn't follow through on anything he said he would. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I had my house painted by AZ Painting Co. December 1 & 2, 2016 and was confident by the ratings I found and was very pleased when they actually did the work. I was nervous about my colors at first, but when done was so excited that I smile every time I pull into the driveway. The work was done top notch and professional. I will definitely use them on my next painting job.

I am writing this negative review not to bash Arizona Painting Company in whole, but to provide other homeowners with information in order to help them make an educated decision when hiring a painting contractor to work on their home as well as to make Arizona Painting Company aware of the issues they may be having in the field so they can correct them. Unfortunately a company's reputation is very dependent upon the workers they hire and the actual work they perform. In my case I was very disappointed with the quality of workmanship. There was a big difference between the quality of work I was led to expect and what I feel I received. My decision to use Arizona Painting Company was based on their impressive credentials ([redacted] on the House certified, A+ rating Revdex.com according to their website, Winner of [redacted] List, and recommended on 92.3 News Talk). I still did my due diligence and got 3 estimates. Arizona painting Company was a bit more expensive, but I was impressed with their credentials, the salesman was thorough, they provide a 3yr warranty and they use a better quality of paint (Dunn Edwards). The scope of work of to be performed was exterior painting of my 1400sf single story house and perimeter block fencing. This was to include: power washing whole house and block fence & to scrape and prime facia. My first concerns arose when the workers arrived 1 1/2 hours late (9 am). I had to work that day so we decided my wife would take off and stay home in order to give the workers any access to the house they may need and more importantly to walk the job site with them and point out the areas of major concern. The areas of concern included: southwest facing facia as well as the upper entry facia. The southwest facia was in bad condition (peeling and cracking) because of the harsh sun exposure and the upper entry way facia had never been painted when the house was built 11 years ago - this area of facia can only be accessed by using a ladder and getting onto the roof. These areas were all pointed out and discussed by my wife with the on-sight foreman at the start of the day. These areas were also discussed with the salesman during the sales call and is why scrapping and priming the facia was included in the estimate. My next concern arose when I walked the job site alone later that evening. I noticed lot of dirt on the block wall near the bottom that has been there quite a while. There was no evidence of water at the base like there was around the house. I ran my hand down the wall and dirt came off, I also ran a hose on a section and noticeable dirt and grime ran off leaving water marks. At that point I assumed they had not gotten to power wash the wall yet. I went inside and asked my wife if they had washed the fence. She did not notice if they had, but she was certain they did the house because she could hear it and there was evidence of water. The next morning the workers arrived and began working. This was Saturday and I was off. I got outside shortly after what I mistakenly thought was the sound of them pressure washing the fence but was them painting the fence. I stopped the foreman and asked if he planned on washing the wall and he informed me he had. I showed him the dirt at the bottom of the wall, the dirt that came of on my hands and the clean water stain from where I wet the wall the evening before. He assured me he washed it and told me he would brush the bottom down with a broom. At this point I rationalized the he must have washed it because with 11 years of dirt on the wall it would probably peel quickly and they would have to repair it under the 3 yr warranty and why would he lie? At a later point in the day when the foreman was working near the entry way I stopped him to discuss the upper section of facia I was concerned about and to verify that my wife had pointed it out to him clearly. He assured me it would be addressed. The work concluded and I walked the job with the Forman. When we arrived at the entry way facia I asked him if I needed to get a ladder out to inspect the upper facia to which he said no and assured me he had taken care of it. I signed the final paperwork. A week later I had to get up on the roof to address another issue when I looked over at the upper entry way facia I was disgusted - no primer and no paint!!! I immediately called Arizona Painting Company to explain the situation, my disappointment , and my concern. They were apologetic and set set up service to get it straightened out. When the original crew arrived to due the work I initially did not confront the foreman who previously lied to my face twice, I just explained it was missed and that there was bare metal and wood up there and that it would need to be scrapped, primed and painted. About ten minutes later I heard them putting the ladder away. This couldn't be right as primer would take at least that long to dry. I insisted he put the ladder back so I could inspect the work - I got shot a very agitated glance from the foreman and a ladder positioned inadequately for anyone to climb. I adjusted the ladder and went up. What I found up there infuriated me: no scrapping, no primer, bare metal and wood showing through paint, and areas completely missed. At this point I confronted the foreman on his initial lies about the work being done in the first place and for not properly completing what we had just discussed he was going to do. I told him to let the first coat dry and then second coat it completely and that I would inspect it again. They finished and left. I was left wondering what other items did not get done as contracted for. This is unacceptable workmanship and I am sure this is not how Arizona Painting Company expects their workers to perform. I do believe they want to maintain their reputation and will warranty any work as necessary. I'm not sure if what I experienced was a fluke or an issue with a particular crew, but in whole the job was nothing near what I expected for the credentials presented and money paid and I have no doubt I could have gotten the same quality for a much lesser price. Also, upon reading other reviews I see a couple other customers that had issues with work not being performed in areas no expected to be seen or inspected by the homeowner. I did call and talk directly to the production manager who was understanding an sympathetic and hopefully will address the issues in house as promised. I believe feedback from customers is important whether positive or negative in order to help us has homeowners to be wary and as companies to improve our service. I believe this is another area Arizona Painting Company needs to improve upon. Part of the final paperwork I had received was a handout with instructions on how to provide a testimonial/review of the work completed. In an effort to provide some feedback for other homeowners I tried to post a review accordingly, but in order to do so must create a google account which I do not wish to do. I then figured I would try the referral sites - I tried to post at [redacted] on the House which had no discernible way to post a review and then to [redacted] list which I would have to join for a fee.

I hired this Company for painting. when they came to my house to start doing the painting. they decided to calk the un-finish base boards without my approval and the guy names Robert who an estimate has demanded $500 more for the calking. While we were discussing about the calking, he walked away from me. I have recognized that they have done some works. So I offered them $250 if they go ahead and finish the calking. But they abandoned the works. After they have done with the painting. They has unauthorized charge my credit card $250 more then the contract stated. I've called and talked to one gal names Irene about the charge. She said she would call me back immediately after she talks to her manager, but she never did. Three days went by, I called them again and talked to Irene again. She transfer my call to a guy names Brain suppose to be a production manager. We have discussed the situation and he said he will get back with me, but again he never call me back. Two days later, I called them back to try to get a hold of Brian, they told me he was out for lunch. Couple hours later, Robert called me and asked me why I want to get out of the payment. I told him that it was not in the contract and I did not approve the works. I told him that I don't want to talk to anyone who has walked away from me. Later that day, Someone names Joe suppose to be one of the owner of the company called me. We have discussed about the calking and we settled for $125.

A month after they finished the painting. The paint is started peeling off the ceiling. I've called them back. It took them 3 days to call me back to schedule for someone to come out and take a look at the paint peeling in 3 weeks.

From the start to finish, this I have had a very bad experience with this Company. Their communication is horrible. They went outside the contract without customer approval. And walked away from customer while talking.

I would NOT recommend this Company to anyone. As far as the paint peeling, it remands to be seen what they will do about that.

they are very professional

Very picky painters,

They double & triple check their work for any flaws

Do a good job of cleaning up afterwouds

Their pricing is resonable

We have found a matching set of pavers and have scheduled with the customer to come Wednesday afternoon 11/17 to install them.  We apologize for the amount of time this has been drawn out and we will make sure its done tomorrow.

More than satisfied with the painting of my two story house Very professional and friendly as well as resonably priced. Would use them for all of my future paint needs
