Around Town Plumbing came to my home Thursday morning to fix a clogged drain and ended up going through a basement pipe! at which time I was informed they were UNABLE to fix the issue TODAY! because he didn't have time, and that I should follow up with the home office if I didn't receive a call in a FEW DAYS!! And that it would cost me $to replace the pipe they damaged ! I was also charged $140- for the service call when the invoice clearly stated the clog wasn't even cleared & I was left in a worse state then before they came! We had to call the office 3x before we could get anyone to take our call and so we could express our concerned & all we were told is ..."it happens"No apology for the inconvenience or anything! So not impressed! Super unprofessional to leave someone with no use of their kitchen going into a holiday weekend!! The pipe that was damaged continued to leak water and is attached directly to the main sewer stack in our home leaching out gasses !! He did

I had purchased a water heater from *** *** with installation *** *** had used this company for the installation When the water heater was installed there was an access valve that came off the water heater that went through dry wall in the next room I have made numerous attempts to contact the company to come back to fix the issues with no success This a fire hazard and needs to be fixed

Fall I called for service on Tankless water heater pressure relief valve pipe leaking waterService tech recommended flushing the system to see if that would correct problem which it seemed to fix temporarily for approx months & was told by the tech at that time that the pressure relief valve was not broken and didn’t need replacing which was incorrect after reviewing the manufacturer recommendations to always replace the valve if it is drippingCalled again for water leaking from pressure relief valve pipe and service call scheduled on 6/14/18, service tech came out and for minutes banged on the valve with a metal wrench and said it should be all set, my wife questioned if the valve needed replacing and the tech said yes it probably should be but he didn’t have those parts on his truck, asked if we needed anything else since he was only there for minutes and the hourly fee total would be $145.80, my wife stated no but immediately called the service dept and asked ab

I was unaware of this complaint - we have gone thorough some major change in our Service Dept the last couple of weeksi will address this issue on Monday 8/7/

A refund was issued for $319.50 on 2/3/14.

In regards to this claim - we have tried to work with this Customer we had 2 service calls to her for the total of $1334.30 - we have given her a discount of $91.80 - then we went and waived the one for 627.75 - she paid us $206.55 on the remaining invoice - she still owes us $500.00 - what more does she want - from a very reliable source this is her pattern - I hope she can find a contractor she is happy with

found piping in home to be in poor condition and the piping not to [redacted] County Plumbing Code. There still remains an S-trap under the kitchen sink. We did attempt to snake kitchen line with no avail. Our technician recommended the correct procedure would be to re-pipe from kitchen sink to basement stack due to corroded plumbing, and plumbing not to code along with leaks in basement stack. (We have pictures to correspond.) [redacted] called and spoke to our service manager. [redacted] inquired why we couldn’t clean line from a tee in basement where there is a cleanout, instead of cleaning from sink out. Homeowner believes we broke through the cast iron tee with snake. It’s impossible for a snake to break through cast iron, unless that material is already compromised.  Our service manager explained if we did, we would have to break that cleanout out due to age and condition of piping, and mess associate with that, this would not be the best option. That’s why our service technician suggested re-piping from the kitchen sink to stack. [redacted] also spoke to General Manager, who is a Master Plumber with [redacted] County.  The conclusion was to replace only the tee on the drain line because homeowner only wanted to patch the problem, he is selling the house and did not want to make complete repair. We quoted him a price with a discount to replace only the tee. Customer was to discuss this with his wife and have us return next day. That evening [redacted] posted a negative review on [redacted] regarding service we provided. Todd Town, owner responded to the [redacted] post asking that she contact him at the office the next day so he can listen to her and find where the miscommunication happened. No call was made to us. The next evening, Todd Town requested that [redacted] remove the multiple posts criticizing our company. In conclusion we will refund the homeowner the service call she paid on 12/29/16 in the amount of $145.80.  The work she had another company complete is not refundable by us. I’m assuming she hired a licensed plumber and they pulled a permit in [redacted] County and secured an inspection for completed work, which is required by law in [redacted] County for this type of work.
