We have reviewed the recording of the finance session with the the [redacted] and [redacted] never told them anything other than the vehicle service contract was cancellableWe would invite the [redacted] to come review it to confirmWarranty contracts have to state they they are cancellable, but not that they are notNon cancellation is assumed unless otherwise stated, as it is on the vehicle service contractWe apologize for any misunderstanding, but at no time told them the other warranites are cancellablePlease contact Justin W [redacted] at [redacted] xtn [redacted] to set an appointment to come see the recordingWe purge the recordings every couple of months, but will hold this one in queue for another week to allow them to view itThank you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, I emailed the receipt to you just now If you would like a more detailed receipt I can contact Milstead and ask if they can send me one Please let me know if you do not receive it.Thank you, [redacted]

We are sorry to hear of your frustrationYou may be confusing the vehicle [redacted] with the 5/oil change packageThe [redacted] is able to be used at any Honda dealerThe value package, which is a 5/oil change package, is exclusive to Honda Cars of KatyThey are two separate policiesAs you kept mentioning [redacted] in your complaint, it leads me to believe that you may have thought the oil change package is connected to the [redacted] , which is not the caseSo, when you were told the [redacted] can be used at any Honda dealer, that was trueIt's not very clear in your complaint, but it sounds as if you got an oil change at the other dealer, which is not covered by the [redacted] but is covered here by the value packageIf you got anything additional done that is not regular maintenance and it was not covered, please advise me, as it should beThanks and I hope this clears things upFeel free to call me at xtn for any more questions

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint It is a complete fabrication I am currently compiling my response, and a will add it to the record once it is completed Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint Again, no name, what are you people afraid of? And NO I was not allowed to see the buyers order for the final numbersI thought I ask for some truthful responsesAnd I still don't have the names to put on the service paper for the small claims court From this point on Illl will assume it will be the General Managers name.See you in court Regards, [redacted]

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me

We spoke to Mr [redacted] yesterday and I believe this is resolvedHe is coming in to cancel his warrant, and maybe GAPPlease advise if this is not the case

Date Sent: 12/14/6:30:PMWe apologize for the delay, but did turn in all the cancellation paperwork to the warranty companyThey advised that a check for the gap was mailed to the lienholder on 11/24/They also advised that they were processing the credit life and disability coverage and it would reflect on the next statement to us and the check for those cancellations would be issued to the lienholder within the next two weeksPlease check with the lienholder to assure they received the gap cancellation, though you should receive notification in the mailYou are welcome to call the warranty company to confirm, but we have done everything that needed to be done on our endThank you

Yes, I received itThank youI will get the check cut to you todayIt will go in the mail today or tomorrow.Tell us why here

Date Sent: 12/18/2:29:PMIt's actually the customer's responsibility to make sure the information is correct, that's why we have you sign the cancellation form, verifying it's accuracyI have attached the forms again, if you cannot see them, you will have to contact the Revdex.com to see why you can't see themAs I stated, part of the delay is that you canceled so quickly after you agreed to the coverageThe initial coverage was still in the process stagesHad you cancelled at a later time, I'm told it would have been quickerI can't tell you what the warranty company said or their processesI only know that we sent the cancellation in in a timely manner, cut the check to the lienholder within a week of receiving a statement from them stating it had been cancelled, then resent the check when [redacted] sent it back to us, as you can see in the attachmentsIt serves us no purpose to hold up your money, we gain nothing by doing so, other than having to take time to answer a complaint from an angry customer, which we don't like any more than you doI'm not sure why you think that we are somehow benefitting from it, but we're notWe are not collecting your interestNeither is the warranty companyThe check was reissued on 12/15, as can be seen in the attachmentsThank you

This complaint is currently being investigated by another state agencyAs such, we cannot comment and will abide by the decision of [redacted] Thank you

We never agreed to the numbers you claimedWe sent a quote for plus for destination, plus for tint, plus for propack, with a note that if you met the loyalty stipulations, you would qualify for another $in loyakty incentiveYou opened that quote at 5/at 8:pmYou paid that amount minus roughly $The loyalty was applied as down payment on your behalfWe honored our quoteWe have proof of what we sent and that you paid that amountNowhere was there any agreement to give you any dealer adds for freeYou had the opportunity to see all of this disclosed, in writing, on both the buyer's order and the contract before you initialed and signed them in many places, and on the quote well before thatAgain, we stand by our actionsWe did none of the things you claimAnd we have it all in emails and writing as proofWe will produce all of these items for any entity you file a complaint withWe will no longer respond through this forum as you have yet to produce any evidence of your claimsThank you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaintWhoever is responding in behalf of [redacted] of Katy, no name is ever given, obviously is not reading my responsesAs I had stated the price was suppose to be plus the $shipping, less the $owner loyaltywith no extras i.epaint sealant, etc.As for the running boards if Rob Wooten said he told me no to the running boards, he needs to rethink that statement, He said" let me pull your deal jacket, and Ill get back to you" can we at least be truthful in these statements? As for the cross bars, when I ask about them from one of the many people I have talked to since purchasing the vehicle, I was told they were included in the price Again I told them I did not want or need them, and certainly would nothave bought themAlso, they are not listed on my copy of the buyers order. The $was showed as down payment, after the sales price was raised by a $Example, sale price of $37048, instead of the $35110.Again, what I am seeing is the same old redirect [redacted] of Katy has been sending since I bought the vehicle That was a decision I sorely regret, now knowing what type of people I am dealing with at the time.Would someone at [redacted] of Katy have Chris [redacted] respond and lets settle this He seems to be the only one that has any authority to get anything done thereNext response, please include the name of the person, or persons that will be served The small claims court needs them Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complain Their response is the same story I have already heard several times from different "managers". The price I had agreed on with the internet person was $plus $destination, less the $owner loyalty. As I have previously explained to all concerned several times, I would not buy the vehicle if I had to pay for extras i.e....window tint, paint sealant, diamond windshield etc. The salesman knows this, Rene, the internet personBrittney know this. Again, the owner loyalty was scooped, when the sales manager switched to a drive out price, instead of a sales price. And, again, I was not given an opportunity to see the final buyers order from the sales department.before being rushed into the finance department. These guys are what gives car dealers a bad name. You would have thought they would have treated a repeat customer with an honest approach. Sad, sad day for *** in general.I never did get a call back about the running boards, this is first I heard that they would not honor my offered settlement. If they want to do the right thing, I still want my $owner loyalty, and $for the cross bars that were not listed on the buyer order, and that were not on the vehicle when we first saw the vehicle, but mystically appeared at delivery. And I will give them back to the dealer.I have yet to get the owner survey, they probably changed my address so I would not receive it. I am not a happy customer, and will not rest until this is resolved, on to and including small claims court

Regards,
I do not have a full voicemail and have not received any phone calls from HondaThe GM has my email address if there was an issue of contacting meMy oil changes are based on the Honda Civic oil change indicator and I came in when it was at 40% I was advised to bring the car in anytime before below 50% but I would be questioned if I brought it in before an oil change was indicatedThe missing fasteners were a direct result of having my oil changed there and it was confirmed it was not due to me running over something in addition to the after market filterI was very happy with my purchase experience and bought the oil change package to make sure it was serviced properlyMy safety was put at risk as well as my carI gave ample opportunity for Honda of Katy to respondI am only asking for exactly what I am out of pocketThe oil change package, my time off work based on my hourly wage (which I can provide my wages) and the towing

Drive out price is negotiated before any warranties, alwaysThe sales staff do not know the coverages, terms or costs of extended warranties, as they vary greatlyThose products are negotiated in finance, alwaysThe contracts Mr*** signed do state that they are not able to be cancelledIt's difficult to say anyone lied when we have Mr***'s signature over and over again, indicating otherwiseWe are certainly sorry he feels this way, but the contracts he signed are a representation of all that he agreed toContracts were invented to hold people accountable to the agreements they made, in writing, that way neither party can claim they were made verbal promises to the contraryMr*** has still not, at this point, come in to cancel the warranty or GAPWe will gladly expedite those cancellations once he comes in to signThank you

Perhaps we have the wrong numberThe GM did not email you because he turned it over to the service directorAgain, we will reimburse you for the tow billThe oil changes cannot transfer, as we are independent of all other Honda dealers and that is a program through us onlyWe do have a copy of Honda *** service statement on their internal notes, it does not indicate that this was a result of the oil change with usBut again, as it is a possibility, we will reimburse for the tow billThanks and have a great day

that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
[They are saying that they did everything right but their dishonesty is evident from the their definition of drive out priceThey think that I and anyone else who read or listen to them are dumb and stupidAS EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT DRIVEOUT PRICE IS THE PRICE THAT ONE PAY TO DRIVE THE CAR OUT OF THE DEALERSHIPWHICH INCLUDE VEHICLE PRICE, TAX, TITLE, ETCNOTHING EXTRA IS NEEDED TO PAY TO DEALERSHIP IN ORDER TO TAKE THAT VEHICLE HOME.I was told that even after committing to dive out price they will not let me drive the car out without paying more for additional coverage. Now if I absolutely must have to pay additional amount then the drive out price that I was promised was lie or if not then they should let have the vehicle for the for the DRIVE OUT price of $and all the money for all the additional coverage on top of the vehicle price of $40,000.They are saying that I signed the paper, now tell me where does it says that it is non- refundableAnd Again, I am ASKING THEM TO BE FAIR AND KEEP THE WORDSWHEN THEY COMMITTED TO DRIVE OUT PRICE THEN LET ME DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR THAT PRICE.THIS IS BIG DEALERSHIP BUT INSTEAD OF HAVING THEIR CUSTOMER SATISFIED, THEY ARE ARGUING AND MAKING SURE TO PROVE THAT THEIR CUSTOMER IS STUPID, DUMB AND COMPLETELY WRONG.I SIMPLY FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WILL THEY GAIN FROM THIS KIND OF ATTITUDETOTAL DISREGARD OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. AGAIN, I WILL URGE TO DO THE RIGHT THIS AND CANCEL ALL THE COVERAGE AND REFUND THE WHOLE AMOINT ON TOP OF $40,000.THX
Regards,

Mr*** was quoted exclusive of lifetime oil changes tax, title and licenseSee the attached quote sent to him and opened by himMr*** paid $37048, exclusive of tax, title, license and lifetime oil changes, less than the internet quoteThe *** Loyalty incentive is down
payment assistance in the amount of $Mr*** did not put any money down, yet there is $listed as the down payment...it was not "scooped," it was applied as down payment, as can be seen on the contract and the buyer's order. We have no clue how Mr*** calculated his driveout after the trade, but we used the actual payoff and in fact paid that amount and he signed off on that. Please see the attached buyer's order from his dealHe was not charged for any additional equipment other than what was disclosed on the initial quote as propack, whether the vehicle has it or not, as can be seen between the correlation of the quote and price paidThere was no bait and switch, he purchased what he requested and what sent a quote on, as can be seen in the quote and the buyer's order. I can't see how there was a transgression of any law or moral compact as Mr*** paid what he was quoted on the car he requested a quote on. I do know that Mr*** called in and wanted us to put running boards on it for free, and we declinedMr*** spoke to the general sales manager when he calledThe general sales manager deals with customer complaintsI don't think we can do any better than honoring a fully disclosed quote, getting him with the general sales manager and properly applying all incentivesWe are sorry that we were unable to give him running boards for free, but that hardly qualifies as unscrupulous. Our hourly employees are required by law to be given breaks to eat, regardless of what food items they prefer, but I imagine the employee that said she went to breakfast really meant lunch. We are sorry that he was incensed by this and that someone else helped him insteadIf Mr*** has any more questions, he can feel free to call me as I know all the details
