From: Ryan Gill [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2015 10:18 AM To: Mary Lou Seymour Subject: Re: Joseph Myers #10274191   This has been mediated through autocap and can be closed from the Revdex.com's side.  He got an independent inspection and it ended up being an 02 sensor and a catalytic converter.  We are taking care of the Catalytic converter.   Ryan Gill General Manager Chesrown Chevrolet Buick GMC 1701 Columbus Pike (Rt. 23) Delaware, Ohio 43015 Phone 740.363.1175

Attached are the documents in which Chesrown accounted for the Remaining Lease Balance of $359.46 on the vehicle whose lease was terminated.  If we were supposed to account for an amount equal to what the customer is referencing, than that should have been addressed at the time of...

signing.  This would not have been possible anyways, as we have no way of really accounting for any additional mileage or wear & tear until an inspection by the leasing bank has been completed which typically occurs after the fact. Thank you,

I called the dealership. Never went online. My fiance Saw the car in the parking lot one day driving by and asked me to call. That means the finance guy put the application in based on the information he had from me working there in the past or from a previous application over a year ago. Both which would be illegal. If this will not be corrected then I'm done with this process and will seek legal counsel. Thank you for your "help"

After receiving the complaint I realized that our staff had already requested the refund from the issuer of the Vehicle Service Contract on July 7th. This process normally takes about 6 weeks so we should receive the refund shortly. As soon as we do we will send it to [redacted].

In regards to your response. I have st[redacted] yet heard from Mr. G[redacted] or anyone at Chesrown. I have never been made aware of any options, let alone ever been told that I could go into the dealership to sign paperwork. My concern is that I already signed all necessary paperwork on June 9, 2015 to obtain the proper paperwork that should have been provided by Chesrown so I could obtain my licenses plates. Unfortunately, I needed this paperwork 2 weeks ago and Chesrown did not help me one bit whatsoever.  Cresrown did not help me or give me any options to successfully resolve this issue in 73 days (as of today).  It took me filing complaints through the Attorney General's Office and Revdex.com for someone to finally help me and it certainly wasn't any help from Chesrown. All Chesrown has done is sit behind a computer screen, making up stories saying they have tried helping me by making options available to me, which they have done nothing of the sort. The ONLY option they made available to me in 73 days was: they provided with me with the previous owners title number through a text message, telling me that I could take that to the BMV to obtain my licenses plates. Through further follow-up at the bmv, that was very inaccurate information provided on Cresrown's behalf. As far as me now driving to Chesrown, I love approximately 1 1/2 hours away and have already taken off countless hours of work and spent additional money, not anticipated to handle this issue so driving to [redacted] isn't an option that is available to me at this time. Now if Mr. G[redacted] would like to drive to my house to personally deliver this paperwork that supposedly I need to sign then that would be wonderful. Through the assistance of the Attorney General's Office, Cresrown only did what they needed to do for the state (with 1 days to spare) to met their state mandate, however, they really failed me as their consumer. I would like that this complaint remain open as an unresolved complaint so that other consumers can read and make their own decisions on doing business with Cresrown.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
From the first day, recorded in multiple phone calls with the salesman, I told the salesman that I wanted the 176 point inspection to be done. Even at my own cost, if need be. He responded that he understood why I wanted it done and agreed with me wanting it and would talk to his sales manager about it. A phone call or two later, he told me that they were going to do it for free. When later pressed about the inspection, the salesman replied that the vehicle was perfect inside and out, except for the dents discussed prior. We have every phone call between myself and the salesman recorded, where we discussed this 176 point inspection being done on many occassions. In response to our original complaint, the business is responding with conflicting reports as pertaining to the inspection. As Brad, who responded to the initial Revdex.com complaint, stated the vehicle was inspected and had it been... the issues with the vehicle would have been found, as according to the two garages we took it to, were preexisting for an extended period of time. Long before the vehicle was ever traded in to them and sold to us. As per the salesmans and businesses prior reputation... We have found many reviews that have experienced this exact same deception and response, or lack there of, as pertaining to the true condition of the used vehicle they received... which was much different than what was described by their salesperson.Pertaining to us not contacting them... We tried on many occassions, with no response from multiple people. When I received this response, I called the manager who responded that same day 2/16/2016 and left another message in his personal message box, for which to this day, he has never responded.

I sincerely apologize for the issues the customer is experiencing with their vehicle.  I went back into the vehicle's history and found 4 previous Repair Orders where the customers concern was acknowledged.  To date, we have made various repairs and it appears that the problem returns....

I am sorry that Mrs. [redacted] feels that we have ignored her concern.  I don't believe that this is the case at all, but I can also appreciate her frustration as the problem continues.  I have discussed this situation with my management and they are giving her vehicle their full attention.  In fact, the vehicle is currently in our service department and the customer has been provided complimentary courtesy transportation.  We also have a case opened with GM engineering which will hopefully help us find a solution.  We will be in touch with Mrs. [redacted] as we progress with things on her vehicle.

Talked to [redacted] 1/21/15 at 9:35 AM. I explained that on 1/9/15 that we credited his [redacted] $48.84 for the repair work done 1/8/15. It was a misunderstanding on our part, he was looking for...

a check in the mail and we credited the way he paid with a [redacted].   [redacted] checked with his bank today 1/21/15 and there was a credit for $48.84. He is happy with the credit and will be contacting Revdex.com today.

In response to [redacted] complaint. Her title was mailed to her on July 17, 2015. The title number we provided her is her title number. She may take her [redacted] drivers license and the title number to her local BMV and receive everything she needs in short order. We are not going to do anything further. -- James G[redacted]

I personally spoke to Mr. [redacted] and had a good conversation.  While the ad that's being referenced does not expressly say that it is a former courtesy vehicle, it also does not claim to be a brand new vehicle.  This is the first issue we've had concerning leases on courtesy vehicles,...

however we will clarify this on these particular ads in the future.  I apologized to Mr. [redacted] and believe this to be resolved.  We've actually developed a new approach to lease advertising to bring transparency and combat the inherently misleading nature of lease ads.  Here is that page live on our site:http://www.chesrown.com/no-money-down-lease.aspx

complaint #[redacted]Catherine McLaughlin assigned this ticket toBruce Smith.Mon, 08/21/17 8:32 amChristy hayes ([email protected])Fri, 08/18/17 5:59 pmHi ,I still have not receive the refund check from the company in which Ifile the complaint on. I don't feel like the issues is resolved at thistime.[redacted]###-###-####[redacted]

I have spoken with Mr. Robert M[redacted] from the [redacted] dealership.  We have made an arrangement for his business to reimburse me125.00$ for the replacement of my center console for my vehicle.  The only other thing I would like to be done to resolve this matte completely, is for Chesrown Chevrolet/GMC to admit fault in this matter, and to also stop lying about everything.l

The dealer location on East side of 23 told me they received my approval from GM the location on West side of 23 said they had nothing and I stated so your guys across the street lied to me and the salesman said yes and started laughing. They wanted to do another credit inquiry I declined. Maybe their business practices should be forwarded to Mike Dewine office. I think that's what I will do. Thank you for attempting a resolution.

Well as of Friday the 13th, the repairs that Ryan Gill had promised were complete.
I still do not think much of a General Manager/Owner or a Sales Manager standing behind a salesman that they admitted had given false information to a customer. Sure doesn't speak highly of a dealership that has that kind of practices. I also think it is funny how Mr. Gill wanted nothing to do, as far as helping to try and resolve this issue, until the Revdex.com and Attorney General got involved.
All I know is I will never send or recommend any of the dealerships Mr. Gill is involved in to anyone I know. I also hope everyone I have told about this issue tells more people so no one goes their and there dealership would suffer because of it. What a [redacted] way to do business.
You may close this dispute.

We were informed by the salesperson and the manager on duty that there WOULD NOT be anything additonal from any other company. We would be free and clear. Again, we asked this questionover due to getting the run around with other dealers! Your company did is completely wrong and I will be sure that everyone is notified of this. We would of NEVER of signed a contract thinking we would have an additional cost of $3,000. That's just stupid! I would of kept my Traverse. It's a no brainier!!

Mr. Jim G called Revdex.com. He said he has given the consumer three different options to obtain her title, including coming into the dealership and signing paperwork. She has not done any of these so there is nothing further he can do to assist her.
