Asbetos.com was almost the first contact I made when diagnosed 6 years ago. They have been there to answer questions and provide resources over all that time. Karen S has remained a constant and I value her insight more than she will ever know.

The Mesothelioma Cancer Center is an amazing resource. They have a lot of great information online (and that they mail out) that helped me get educated very quickly about this rare cancer, once I learned of my father's diagnosis 18 months ago. The articles are very well written in plain, understandable language. I found them to be succinct yet highly informative and accessible, and they keep the site updated with the most recent developments in treatment options. The Meso Center has also been a great resource of personal support to me, my mom, and my dad. I frequently talk, text, and email with Karen, one of the nurse / patient advocates. She has been incredibly supportive, informative, and helpful - answering my questions, helping us find Meso-experienced oncologists near my parent's home, telling us about newly available treatment options and clinical trials, and keeping in touch with us as we go through this difficult journey. And all of this has been available at no cost to us. This is not an easy cancer to deal with, but I've found it very reassuring to have the Meso Center's support at every step along the way.

It was a very dark day when we got the diagnosis for my mom. Amy was so kind and so informative that day the best call I have ever made. You can tell when people truly care and they do.

I have been very happy with the help and concern I have received. My dad was diagnosed with mesothelioma in November and Amy has kept in close contact with me to see how my dad is doing and if there is anything we need. Everyone she has referred me to has been equally nice, caring, and they have all been very informative. They also sent me a packet in the mail with information on Doctors, treatment, nutrition, and lawyers. There was also a list of question to ask your Doctor, which was extremely helpful. A millions thanks to Dr. Snehal S for her continued support through my dads bout with mesothelioma. Very informative, she help my dad find a good Oncologist in the L.A. area and lawyer to deal with in Hawaii. Answered all our questions and was available for personal phone calls.

My husband was recently diagnosed with mesothelioma. Devastating, and scary news. Upon finding out his diagnosis, I began to research mesothelioma, starting with asbestos.com.
