*** ***'s situation and the circumstances surrounding her account have been responded to thoroughly and accurately.? The fact is that she has created a hostile environment for our onsite manager and portfolio manager.? *** contacted the Idaho Statesman and made allegations against Verity Property Management the same way she has with the Revdex.com.? We provided the Idaho Statesman all of the supporting documentation and answered all questions that were asked.? This resulted in the Idaho Statesman not running the story as they agreed that there was and is no support for the claims being made by this tenant.? *** has made outrageous demands for a very small maintenance inconvenience, she has yelled and cursed at my staff and she has contacted every free agency available to her to try and pressure Verity into granting her demands and to cause harm to Verity's brand.? Verity Property Management stands by our decision to protect our staff from hostile and aggressive tenants.? We have upheld the terms of the lease agreement that *** willingly entered into.? We have an obligation to our tenants and staff to remove hostile and threatening people from the apartments that we manage.? That is the case here with *** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The corporate office did finally contact me, not because of my numerous messages, only after you, the Revdex.com sent informed them of my complaintThat is fine, I just wanted to know why their apartment manager told me I was a bad personIt was because of a dropped misdemeanor charge from many years agoI don't think it is the reason I was turned away however, since I was to be only cosigning for my daughter strictly for financial reasons and would not have not been residing at this address? as this was stipulated in the app.? ? Stephanie,? manager, did call and talk to me and informed me of their reason and said the only way to receive the refund was to have it mailed within two weeksI again verified the mailing address, as I had in my previous phone calls, and she said she would speak to the manager of the complex about how she, Brianne, had spoken to meShe never offered the chance to come to the office to pick the check up in personThat would have been my obvious choiceNot much of what I have heard from any of the people I spoke to has been honestTheir stories and excuses change by the minuteI DO NOT believe they had a valid reason for denying my daughter's appRegardless of the misdemeanor that was dropped, this has NEVER NEVER kept me from nothing I have done since nor slowed me down in my career, therefore I highly doubt it would keep from co-signing for my daughter to insure that the rent would be covered.? My salary is upwards of 55k annually? I think it was an angry worker sore because I questioned why it took a week from receipt of our app to BEGIN the approval processI did not yell and scream at Brianne, I was in my office at the time and would not do thatI simply told her she was being a *** in the what she was saying to me about that I was a bad personI have since called and spoke to Stephanie, who laughed when she realized who I was and said she thought that maybe the check was being processedShe said she would check and someone would let me knowThat call was Monday around noonI have yet to hear from anyoneI honestly would never rent from this management company and will make sure to let everyone I know who is looking for apartments that this is not a reputable businessI see why they are not Revdex.com members and have? D- ratingI would really just like t receive the refund in a very timely manner, ie: in the next few days, and completely wash my hands of all this***They have proven to be dishonest

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Regardless of the companies stated policies I was not given an opportunity to do a final walk through of my unit, or verify any of the stated damages I am being held responsible for.? Repairs were made without my knowledge and I have no way of disputing whether they were needed from wear and tear or excess damage as Verity claimsThe individual I gave my keys to on leaving the property identified himself as a representative of Verity.? When I moved out the apartments were in transition between the two management companies and I believe he was overseeing management until a permanent manager was in place
