I am rejecting this response because:
We did not try several beds and things were explained to us so fast that got us totally confused - we didn't realize we were going for a 'lesser'bed.

I received a phone call from [redacted] at the Altamonte Springs Florida location.  The store manager stated that we could come into the store and pick out a new sofa. We have to come to that location. We now live in Maryland which is over 900 miles from Florida. [redacted] said he would call me back with a solution. He finally called me back after I called the store to find out where I could go in Maryland for the replacement. [redacted] told me there was nothing he could do because he authorized a replacement at his store and it will not transfer to another location and he could not provide a credit.  We are not satisfied with this response. We would like to be able to go to a local store where we now live for the replacement.

[redacted]’s complaint, we have reached out to management at the retail location.  A manager has reached out to Mr. [redacted] and advised that Genesis is not going to count the months he didn’t receive the bill against him.  Mr. [redacted] was also advised that we would not take any furniture back as we don’t have anything to do with the Bank financing terms, or when the bank bills the customer.  Mr. [redacted] has had the furniture for 3 months without having to make any payments on it for that amount of time which means he actually has more time to pay for the furniture.  [redacted] asked to speak to the Regional Manager, however the Regional Manager was not available.  Management from the retail location did apologize to Mr. [redacted] as they could not assist him but Mr. [redacted] hung up.  Management from the retail location was going to offer [redacted] a $150.00 gift card to the Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. HomeStore, but they were unable to offer this since [redacted] had hung up the phone.  We are still willing to send out the $150.00 gift card if [redacted] accepts the offer.  We invite [redacted] to contact our customer service at 800-240-3440 if he would like to accept the gift card offer. The customer received delivery on 7/5/16 and the merchandise did not fit. it clearly states on the customers receipt as well as in several different areas of the delivery expectations form that every customer receives at the time of purchase that (NO FIT DELIVERIES WILL INCUR A 30% RE-STOCK...

FEE). As a courtesy the Company allowed the customer to reselect to a set they picked out themselves and said would fit. The set they picked out was more expensive than their original purchase and the Manager worked out a price for the customer that not only reduced the cost of the re-stock fee, also ensured that the customer would not have to pay anymore than they already spent. In essence the customer received a more costly set of furniture with a significantly reduced re-stock fee as a courtesy of the Company therefore saving them significantly on both the higher cost of the furniture and re-stock fee. The Husband was VERY adamant that the set they reselected to would fit with no problems and was encouraged by the Manager to go home and take the measurements just to be safe. The customer insisted that the merchandise would fit. The customers were read the back of the receipt in its entirety just to make sure they were clear on the policies and the wife initialed in multiple areas on the back of the receipt indicating that they understood the terms and conditions.The Company went above and beyond to help and work with these customers by allowing them to reselect, significantly reducing the restock fee, reducing the cost of the furniture so that they would not have to pay anymore than they already paid even despite them reselecting to a higher priced set and not charging them a re-delivery fee. The Company has the customers signed receipts, along with their initials on both purchases to prove that the customer was aware both times of the re-stock fee along with all other policies and would be glad to fax a copy to the Revdex.com or to the customer as proof and for their records.

Hello Revdex.com, Good Evening! Hope all is well, reached out to guest , unable to make verbal contact, when guest call us we will inform same as previously offered. Resolution, guest can reselect a different mattress for the same value paid originally , if chose higher value will be responsible to pay the difference. In guest response claiming will keep the same mattress, in case guest change their mind this offer is valued until 6-30-17.Thanks as always to bring to our attention.

 The TOC does not state that it will take almost 3 moths for the the delay and this is just a tentative and estimated date which they could reschedule again. Pure greed plain and simple. Your TOC must state that their is no definite date of delivery and could take months. See you in court Ashley Furniture. Let see how your TOC will hold.

I have aalso attached a photo of my room immediately after delivery on Feb 17th 2015. Please note how a box spring, a mattress and a nightstand are missing. I specifically asked the delivery drivers to annotate what was missing and apparently nothing was annotated. I immediately called customer service as the drivers had instructed and got in touch with the warehouse on March 12th 2015 to pick up the remainder of my furniture. I was not 5 minutes from the warehouse when I received a call from the warehouse manager saying he would not give me my mattress or box spring. I later called in late November early December about it again, as I had often contacted to get this horrible issue resolved, and they had altered my receipt in their file saying that I had never ordered a mattress or box spring while I am holding the original receipt in my hands detailing what I had purchased. I am appalled that it has been a year and I still don't have what I paid for, this is ridiculous and this is a scam at best. I have since moved to a new home and am 2 months away from a deployment so I would really like to get this issue resolved.

Good afternoon, This consumer has written this same complaint in the past and it was resolved in our favor.  Several month ago the consumer decided to take to our [redacted] warehouse her dirty mattress and broken adjustable base.  She dropped it at her front door while we were...

closed.  She left a note saying she wanted her money back.  We sent her letters to pick up the items or they were discarded.  We also notified the bank she financed with and provided picture as to what she had done and the condition of the merchandise. A customer can not buy a car, not like it, wreck it, and then drop it back at the dealer and get a full refund.  This is exactly what this consumer did to us.  The amount she is disputing is what she owes to the bank she financed with.  She disputed the charges with the bank and they also found in our favor. There is nothing further we can do assist this consumer. Thank you,[redacted]
