The staff are unsafe to say the leastInattentive to several members asking for help due to focus on the computerSome trainers were playing on equipment, the others behind the desk were playing catch

To Whom It May Concern, Inspire Fitness located in Greeley, Colorado, opened its doors to the public on April 10th, As per our business plan, we conduct a 60-day promotion and marketing "pre-sale," in which we sign members up for the gym at a discounted price All memberships are not billed or considered active members until the day of opening At the Greeley location, a few construction delays caused the pre-sale to last the full day duration As stated before, members who signed up before the gym opened were not billed anything toward their accounts until they were provided a gym service Ms [redacted] chose to cancel her agreement before the construction finished Her member agreement was removed and her file was cancelled Unfortunately, due to a data entry error, her maintenance premium annual fee was not removed from her account Human error is an unfortunate but occurrence in any business, in Ms [redacted] case the situation was rectified with nothing more than a simple phone call Her membership was cancelled properly, the incorrect balance was adjusted to zero, her information erased, and her name was removed from the bill collection list with no direct impact on credit or any similar concern Inspire Fitness is a new company, and with all new businesses there is a learning curve The lessons learned from Mr [redacted] membership error has been applied to all future procedure Thank you for your time Stay Inspired, Inspire Fitness Management

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I will let others know of this "open ended" contract full of loopholesI am very disapointed with this company and its staff and lack of communication Regards, [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern,My name is Christian G*** and I am the District Operations Manager for Aspire Fitness. My territory includes Aspire Greeley, and my department oversees all training operations within this district. As I completely understand the frustration that consistency
with trainers can and will cause to someone who has decided to take their fitness to the next level, the integral error lies not in communication, but in understanding of the contractual obligations in a personal training membership. Aspire Fitness, formerly known as Inspire Fitness, has yet to change the contractual guidelines by which our personal training programs are subject to. Stated clearly in all personal training sales and upon the agreements in which all personal training clients are required to understand and sign prior to activation of the personal training account are the terms and conditions. All training memberships attempted to cancel for any reason other than permanent relocation or medical absence are required to buy out at fifty percent of the remaining balance. As we have always had these terms and conditions it is reasonable to assume that this was a misunderstanding by the client during the original signing of paperwork and program activation. We as a company apologize for the inconvenience this misunderstanding may have caused but will be unable to break this policy as it is enforced for understandable business purposes. Furthermore, if the clients so wish, we at Aspire would be absolutely inclined to coordinate communication with the General Manager of Aspire Greeley to not only offer an empathetic ear to the frustrating scenario, but to communicate and coordinate a plan as to how our training management and program can be implemented at a higher level that is suitable to their needs and a catalyst to their fitness success. Sincerely,Christian G***District Operations ManagerAspire Fitness7/5/

The agreement signed during initial sign up clearly states the renewal terms of the agreement as follows: "All memberships automatically roll over to an open-ended/month-to-month at the same rate per month, starting at the end of the initial term(Requires a 30-Day Written Notice to cancel.)" We are unable to process a refund for any cancellation that does not have written notice with documentation if reason for cancellation is medical or relocationThe sessions paid for do not expire, and we would be happy to set up another assessment for you to find a trainer that best fits your needs

Aspire Fitness Management

I purchased a month to month membership (the gold membership) back in May, which I was told I was able to cancel at any timeI stopped going to Inspire Fitness because I was constantly being harassed by their personal trainers (even while I was working out and had my headphones in) to sign up for their personal training sessionsI finally resolved that I was going to cancel my membership instead of pay for a service that I was no longer usingWhen I called on a Monday afternoon I was told that they would not let me cancel my gym membership over the phone and that I needed to go in to the facility to do soThis is a huge inconvenience considering I work full time but I made the time during my break from work and went in on that Wednesday morning at 9:to cancel it in person like they askedWhen I arrived and told the lady at the front desk that I'd like to cancel my membership she told me that there wasn't a manager there yet and that I'd need to come back because she wasn't allowed to let me cancel my membership when a manager presentI came back the next day (Thursday) and there were people standing at the front desk, I asked to cancel my membership and I felt hassled because they wanted a reason why I wanted to cancel and I don't feel they needed a reason as I had signed up for a month to month membership with no contractI proceeded to tell them that I was moving and they told me that they needed to see proof of address change, which was also inappropriate and unnecessaryThen they proceeded to tell me that I needed to give a two week notice, which I responded with please cancel my membershipI left not knowing if my membership was truly cancelled

This is the worst gymThe Personal Trainers don't have any actual PT trainingThey are college students that don't even have exercise/physiology or other field as their majorThe PTs are rudeThey don't work around your schedule they expect you to work into theirsWhen a medical problem arises they don't refund ANY unused funds or make it rightAfter two medical holds I asked for termination of contract, they refusedThis place is awfulSave your money, go elsewhere

To whom it may concern,
Inspire Fitness has been in business since April 10th, This complaint is void being that the obvious response is we are an open facility with existing members and fitness equipment to match As per our business plan, we conduct a 60-
day promotion and marketing "pre-sale," in which we sign members up for the gym at a discounted rate All memberships are not billed or considered active members until the day of opening At the *** location, a few construction delays caused the pre-sale to last the full day duration On April 10th, all pre-sale members became active members and were billed for the first time The information Ms*** received from the "*** ***" was incorrect and ill informed Inspire Fitness is a national chain originating in Maryland, we have no locations in Oklahoma, so this also ill informed and void Ms*** is more than welcome to return to the facility in its completed state to redeem her pre-sale membership at a discounted rate
Stay Inspired,
Inspire Management

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I did speak with the person who signed me in and if he didn't record or track my petition to cancel or freeze the account the next day when I asked him to I feel as though he was not handling my petition professionallyThey did charge me the first month $400, I called and they reimbursed my moneyThey did charge me again the second month and that is when I went to my bank and stopped payments for this particular account and once again my $was reimbursedAfter I got my reimbursement on the third month, August, since my bank stopped payment to the account *** *** sent me a letter threatening to send me to collection if I did not make a payment for this account so I called *** *** and explained to the person in charge that I have tried to cancel the account and that I did not owe moneyThat in fact the account should be frozen and I received another letter for the same reason(explanation above)But finally they stopped the letters and I was told to fix the problem locally, I kept going with this issue and this problem still hasn't been resolvedI have wasted so many trips to Inspire Fitness without any resultsI still want my $Thank you so much!

Ms[redacted],
We would like to do what we can to help you resolve your
issue with our billing systemFirst, the gym and personal training divisions

the client's responsibility to update their information with both companies if
they are utilizing the personal training services[redacted], our third party
billing company, does send out "collection notices" in order to collect on past
due paymentsThey are not, however, a collection agency that effects your
creditWe do not have access to any information that would give us access to
your credit score
July payment was not received placing a
$balance on the account
August payment was not received, increasing
the balance to $
Payment of $received on 8/22/2016,
decreasing balance to $
Payment of $received on 9/6/2016,
decreasing the balance to $
September payment was not received,
increasing balance to $plus a $billing return fee

increasing balance to $including the return fee
We were able to locate your freeze request that was
submitted on 8/31/2016, and I have gone ahead and removed the past due balances
for September and October ($+$return service fees)Unfortunately, the past due balances for July
and August are still due, as only $was paid off with the two payments
received on 8/22/and 9/6/A total past due balance of $is still
postedOnce this payment is received, we can completely remove you from the
billing and collection list, and cancel your personal training accountThe sessions

a 30-Day written request to cancel. Considering that we never received this request from Ms.[redacted], however her agreement had moved into the month-to-month status, we complied with her request on August 15th and cancelled her account so no additional fees would be withdrawn from the account.
