Review: Fraudulent sales tactic to scam money from business.
Sales representative from this company called and misrepresented themselves by asking one of my staff members their name and not disclosing that they would be agreeing to a purchase of a toner cartridge for $489.25. They did not say to my staff member that saying her name would be an authorization to ship a toner cartridge and invoice us for $489.25. The same toner I can get for less than $100.00 from staples. I believe that this is not only immoral but also criminal because my staff member was not told that they would be buying something and also the fact that they did not have authorization to make purchases for our company.Desired Settlement: I would like for my $6.05 be returned to me for shipping the box back to them unopened. And also that my companies number and business name be removed from their database.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response that we received from this company did not pertain to my particular complaint. They mentioned the [redacted] Inn, we are not the [redacted] Inn, we are the [redacted] Inn. Also we have no [redacted] that works for this Hotel. This just shows the low level of incompetency for this company, makes you wonder how many other people are being victimized by this company. We did indeed ship the item back VIA UPS. We want our shipping cost returned in the amount of $6.10.

Response:
Company did not provide business name or Invoice # so it was matched to an account in the same city. Product was returned and the account was credited. [redacted] Inn no longer has an open balance with Associated Business Solutions.
Review: Ladies and Gentlemen:
Recently, we have had a very bad experience dealing with Associated Business Solutions
of 17870 Newhope St. 104/437, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Apparently this business is running
some type of scam whereby they make contact with your business under the guise of conducting
a survey. While on the phone with one of the staff members, they will obtain the name of the
staff member. Then, shortly thereafter they begin sending large amounts of toner and invoices
for the toner which about four to five times the normal costs of ordering toner of this kind.
Because of the volume of materials which pass through our office we did not originally catch
what was going on and have paid several hundred dollars to this company before we realized the
nature of their act. Then, they continued sending parcels of toner and literally billed our
company thousands of dollars for toner we never ordered.
I do not know what can be done to stop this company and companies of this nature from
conducting business in this matter, but request that you investigate this as soon as possible. If
additional information is needed from our business, please let me know and we will be glad to
provide the same to you.
Yours very truly,
[redacted]Desired Settlement: see Attached document

The original order was placed by [redacted] on 1/8/14 for [redacted]. All orders go through a verification process to ensure all information is valid and review account again. All shipments must go through a verification process as well as confirmation prior to any shipment. [redacted] has only paid 1 invoice, and we have not received payments of several hundred dollars.
Review: Telemarketer called my office and spoke to a staff person and insinuated that we were required to order toner per our contract and even though she not authorize a purchase, I received an invoice for toner that I do not need nor did we order. My staff instructed the sales person to email me. I did not receive an email nor did I order any toner. I already have an agreement with another company. When I called the company regarding this fraudulent/deceptive practice, I was merely told to not accept service of the toner.Desired Settlement: At this time, I am only attempting to make it known that they are committing fraud so other businesses are not hurt by this. I have personally not lost any money, just my time dealing with this.

The original order was placed by [redacted] for [redacted] & [redacted] on 1/22/14. All orders go through a verification process to ensure all information is valid. This order was confirmed and shipped. Shipment was refused and awaiting return by the warehouse. When the product is received, account will be credited.
Review: This company misrepresented themselves to employees of our agency. Basically they are are a "toner phoner". They contact one person in an agency and misrepresent themselves as "handling our copier/printer supplies and get specific information on our equipment. They then contact additional staff and indicate that they provide the supplies for our equipment. Though we never placed an order for any of the toner supplies they sent a toner cartridge and a billing. We are returning the cartridge unopened.Desired Settlement: We want this company to stop this deceptive and fraudulent practice.

The original order was placed by [redacted] for [redacted] on 2/21/2014. All orders go through an extensive verification process before the product is shipped. [redacted] was contacted today and will be returning the Canon supply, once returned the account will be credited.
Review: I was contacted by the company by phone and they explained that there was a great deal on the toner that we had ordered from them in the past. I, unfortunately, accepted. They sent the toner and a bill. I paid it. Then they sent more toner and another bill. I did not authorize that. I called the company to return the product, and that's when I realized the company has to be phony. I have been emailing and leaving messages for two months. I was contacted on Monday by someone claiming to be in collections for the company. She said she would resolve the issue. I received two emails from her, along with a direct phone number and extension. They don't work.Desired Settlement: I will not pay the remaining bill. I have no problem sending the product back, but only if there is an absolute guarantee that there will be no further contact.

The original case order was placed by [redacted] on 1/28/14 for [redacted]. All of the orders go through a verification department before they are shipped. They are not on a contract and could have cancelled within 30 days per our return policy. I have already arranged a return with [redacted]. I spoke with [redacted] today and confirmed our number again since [redacted] was not able to communicate with me. She called me after and confirmed my number was a working number. When the Toshiba supply is returned the account will be credited.
