I have reviewed the sales attempt made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this is another slap in the face, and obviously does nothing to resolve my complaint I am sending this info regarding my complaintThis response to my complaint seems to be another attempt at getting money from meI understand that there are issues that come up on vehicles from time to timeThere has been extreme upkeep to this vehicle. This is the info I can access that shows the times they worked on my car involving this matter. Image #shows where my car originally shut down due to the faulty ignition I had to have it towed in and they did recallsI was told "if my car started after the recalls were done I would be reimbursedfor any expenses paidAfter the recalls were done they covered the cost of towing, and repairs ** note, the vehicle was towed to the dealership several days prior to the date stated** Image #shows where I received the car back, and was told by the dealership where it had been at for days, that I could leave it to be checkedBut I would have to pay for it to be looked at(I refused because the electrical system never had any issues before it was sent to them for the ignition problem)*** set me up for a loaner, and to have the issue checked by a second dealership **At this dealership it was found my wiring harness connection had been pulled apart, and they reconnected itThey never checked it for any type of damage to wires that are in the harness** About a days after receiving the vehicle back this time I started having to jump start the vehicle after it sat for any period of time longer than about 14-hours I was repeatedly ignored by *** all together from this point on Image #is from where I had the second loss of powerOn 5/22/is when I had the vehicle shut down while driving on the highway in Ellensburg WA Upon talking to *** I was instructed to tow the vehicle to the nearest dealership (which they looked up for me)I complied, and was given a day time frame that this matter would be investigated (Over a month passed before this happened.) and I never got to speak with anyone that could tell me any information about my claim. ** note the date on this record is over weeks after the vehicle was dropped at the dealership ** I do not understand the discrepancies in the dates of service (or the dealership that has the car now)Also I don't see where they noted the recalls were done on (3/15/16) eitherMy entire business, and personal life has been destroyed by this matter, and they are acting like they have no responsibility in thisI have over dates, times and names of people in the call center I spoke to requesting a callAll of those were also ignored. Thank you *** * ***

*** I am *** ***, General Manager of Commonwealth Dodge and am aware of this situationI tried to call you, but it went to voicemail & is fullPlease contact me and we can try to settle this matterThank you, *** *** ***

$9Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I think Mr*** (My salesman) was very helpful, he really tried to make things right but he only a salesman, I mean no disrespect to him I went into the GM OFFICE on 10/14/15, I spoke to Mr*** the GM, I explained to him I didn't want to go over what I am already paying and have purchased this vehicle forI explained to him when I came into the dealership I originally I didn't want to spend over $18,for this vechicle, but with taxes, warranty added somehow it was up to over $23KWHY would I have to put and additional $5,down and make higher payments just to be satisfied of them DOING WHATS RIGHTOriginally I did say I wanted something on same line as mine, Leather seats, dual sun/moon roof, LoadedBut, I have to come up with more money and a higher payment just to be satisfied??Since I have had this vehicle into the dealership on numerous occasions, the longest length of time was for weeks only to receive the vehicle back with the same issues I am so dissatisfied. I really feel I have been done an injusticeI have started making payments on this vehicle and I am tired of wasting my time and resources bringing it back in with no resolve or resolution. I was advised by Mr*** *** and Mr *** the GM that they also own the FORD LOT ACROSS the STREET (Town & Country FORD)Mr*** took me to that lot to look at other Ford Edges (just on this 10/14/15, Wednesday), I seen several of them on the lot that was same price as my vehicle and one was even a few thousand dollars lower than the vehicle I currently haveThe vehicle I looked at was $21,my vehicle costs was over $23,I feel this is a reputable car lot and they own other lots and it should not be a problem to assist me either replacing the vehicle with the same Make, Model etcor if They must put me into another vehicle WHY must I PAY MORE money because, THEY CANT or WONT make this DEAL happenI would think they would want to Satisfy a Customer that has Given $9,as a down payment, and I want what I Purchased a Ford Edge. There is apparently something going on with this vehicle, and I realize its a chance you take with used vehicles but not within the first week of having it(I took it back in on the first week, because of this noise), this is not my fault. I just want them to treat me as if I were a Customer they Don't want to loose, a loyal Human Being that is SPENDING MY MONEY LIKE ANYONE ELSE. What Happened to the Integrity of Treating others the way you would want to be treated? I WONDER If I were A MAN would I have been treated differently?. I love my Vehicle is apparent or I would not have purchased it!! I am tired of the run around of being told several different things and NOW BEING LIED TOI thought I have found a car lot that was different, and not just about SALES, that would care about YOU as A PERSON I was told the Town & County ford on Preston (across the street from Commonwealth Dodge is owned by them also), I was told (almost weeks ago) the OWNER of Commonwealth Dodge was going to AUCTION or where ever they get the vehicles from and he would get another vehicle to replace the one I HAVE, I was told I could trade the vehicle out for on of the vehicles I seen and wanted to test drive at TOWN & Country Ford!! Regards,*** ***

AND WILL ALSO GIVE HER DOLLARS BACK ON FIRST MONTH PAYMENT PER GENERAL MANGER. THANK YOU

Ms*** did buy a 2012 Ford Edge on July 20, with 29,miles on itOn September 24th, she came into service and complained of a braking & popping noise on the vehicle and it had just over 33,milesWe replaced the rear brakes at no charge and sent the vehicle to
Town & Country Ford for recall and popping noiseThey said the noise is standard on the Edge and did not find any problemsNote: the Edge is still under manufacturer's bumper to bumper warranty and it would behoove Town & Country to do any repair to the vehicle as Ford would pay for it. On October 14th, Ms*** came into the dealership to try and trade out of the EdgeShe requested a suv with leather, moon roof & other options raising the price and paymentsI worked the deal myself and was selling it to her at employee pricingI tried to get our salesman, ** ** *** to put her on a cheaper unit, but he said she told him she only wanted another Edge at the same payment, even thought the Ford dealer said that was a standard noise on the EdgeMs*** is a very nice, sweet and polite lady and I will do anything I can to help her, but I do not have another Edge currently and they are not easily found.Thank you,*** ***General Manager

On 3/13/15 [redacted] had a 2008 dodge avenger in for routine service. Mrs. [redacted] was informed the vehicle had a bad alternator at that time customer declined repairs on vehicle. On 4/3/15 customer had vehicle towed in for a no start problem, technician diagnosed vehicle and found that the alternator has failed. Mrs. [redacted] authorized repairs, after installing the alternator vehicle quit running, after diagnosing the vehicle technician found fuel pump has failed repair was authorized again. After installing fuel pump and test driving technician stated vehicle lost power, technician ran another diagnostic and found that the catalytic convertor had stopped up. informed Mr. [redacted] of findings Mr. [redacted] stated he would call back. Mr.. [redacted] had his attorney call with Mr. [redacted] in his office Mr. [redacted] authorized repairs. [redacted] told Mr. [redacted]'s attorney that he would discount repairs. Repair was $1815.09 before discounts after discounts service manager gave total came to $1445.70. The technician that worked on this vehicle is a Chrysler master technician. The repairs were not related at all there was never a miss diagnostic ran on Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]'s vehicle, just a failure of parts therefore Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] should be responsible for the repairs on their vehicle.

We spoke wit Ms. [redacted] and apologized for our salesman's action. We also held a meeting with the entire sales force and management staff about language, actions, horse play and etiquette. This will not be tolerated by any employee at any time for any reason. Being a Nissan, we had to...

send the car out for repair and it appears to be fixed.  Ms. [redacted] accepted our apology and I believe she left happy in her new car.

.MR. [redacted], WE ARE SORRY FOR YOUR TROUBLES WITH THE 2008 DODGE MAGNUM. WHEN YOUR CAR WAS TOWED IN HERE WITH 166,428 MILES ON MARCH 11, 2016 IT WAS FOR A RECALL ONLY! I BELIEVE THE 1ST REPAIR SHOP YOU TOOK IT TO STATED THAT THE RECALL WOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR OTHER PROBLEMS, BUT IT DIDN'T....

WHEN YOU DECLINED TO PAY FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES, THERE WAS NOTHING COMMONWEALTH DODGE OR [redacted] COULD DO. IT IS IMPROBABLE THAT THE RECALL REPAIR COULD CAUSE ANY DAMAGE TO THE WIRING HARNESS. AFTER TAKING TO ANOTHER DEALER FOR THE WIRING HARNESS REPAIR AND NOT BUYING OR HAVING YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED WITH US BEFORE, I THINK YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE DEALER THAT DID THAT REPAIR FOR ANY FURTHER HELP EVEN AFTER TWO MONTHS PAST THE REPAIR WAS DONE. A 10 YEAR OLD VEHICLE WITH THAT MANY MILES IS ALWAYS SUBJECT TO FAILURE BUT, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE WE WOULD BE WILLING TO SELL A NEW UNIT AT EMPLOYEE PRICING OR EXTRA DISCOUNTS ON A USED.

SINCERELY,
[redacted]
GENERAL MANAGER

I have spoken with Ms. [redacted] on numerous occasions and tried to resolve this matter. She would like to trade vehicle in for something else, but the banks would not approve her so quickly as a secondary customer. I told her to bring the car in and I would try myself to work with our lenders and I...

would make sure the problem was fixed. They did not repair the vehicle when she came in before, because she was trading it and we don't do repairs to trade-ins until the deal is approved and completed. The only reason we had the vehicle for 2 weeks was because she would not bring the other one back. Ms. [redacted] was supposed to bring the vehicle in several times, but has never shown.Thank you,[redacted]General Manager

In regards to the latter response by the underwriter herein. The latest response by the GM does not address the issue of that reply. Which is why didn't the diagnosis revel the isuues of the second and third problems not at separate diagnosis interveles. Anybody that familar with runing diagnosist on your auto knows that it will show all issues at the initial diagnoist test. Not at separate repairs, showing different results. That just dont make sinse. This issue is resolve when you overide the last two repairs cost.

In regards to [redacted]s's complaint , I have done some research and have hopefully settled this issue. We could not give the registration or decal for license plate to Ms. [redacted] because the deal was not funded by [redacted] due to failure by Ms. [redacted] to complete her welcome call, required by all...

secondary lenders. By the time the welcome call was completed, the first payment was due, further delaying completion of the deal. In regards to her phone call with Mr. [redacted], Sr I heard the entire conversation with the two and Mr. [redacted] did hang up on her after she called him a [redacted]. He told her he too was a veteran and served in Vietnam and would not let her talk to him like that. I have told all my employees they do not have to take verbal or physical abuse from customers, other employees or vendors. We go out of our way for all military personnel, as my son is currently serving in the Air Force. Finally, we made the 1st payment for Ms. [redacted] to get the deal completed, told her daughter she could come pick the registration & decal up, which she couldn't for several weeks because she is out of town, so we mailed it to her. We tried to reach Ms. [redacted] as well, but her phone has temporarily been disconnected.Sincerely,[redacted]General Manager

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I want to listen to the call not one time did I curse at him this is a lie and I never was contacted by [redacted] Finance this is the reason I called back repeatedly for over 30 days I never called [redacted] Sr a [redacted] he did not even a knowledge that the vehicle was up for repossession and they did not care I want Regards,[redacted]

Our dealership is owned by the same person that owns Town & Country Ford, we don't own them and they don't own us, 2 completely different businesses. Their vehicles are their vehicles and we can only sell our vehicles. We do a have a manager that goes to the auction every Thursday and buys cars, but there is no guarantee what runs that day or if we would be highest bidder. If Ms. [redacted] will come back in, I will try my very best to trade her into something similar and at the same payments, but math is an exact science and I can not sell a more expensive vehicle and keep the payment the same or lowered. Ms. [redacted] could also try and trade with Town & Country if they have the exact vehicle she wants. As far as a repair, it must be done by a Ford dealer for an item we can not detect.  If she brings it in a rides with a service writer or mechanic, it may be detected that way though.

Sincerely,
[redacted]

In regards to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, I apologize for him feeling like Commonwealth Dodge has a lack of integrity. Since becoming General Manager in October 2013, I have strived to treat everyone with the utmost respect and listened to any complaint or poor feelings they may have toward any department. We felt Mr. [redacted]'s concern and gave him a very good discount for his repairs on the 2008 Avenger. I have spoke with the service manager, technician & service writer, at no time did they feel that Mr. [redacted] felt any dishonesty on our part. I apologize again to Mr. [redacted] and would love to speak with him in person to help keep a happy and satisfied customer.

Sincerely,
[redacted]
General Manager
