The process appeared easy enough online, but when I checked the status a few days later, it stated I needed to submit a bill Someone from Assurant should of reached out in order to make sure I sent in all of the necessary documents since it was not clear at the time of submission extra documents were needed Unnecessary delays

Assurant Solutions has been the worst company I have worked withThey denied their obligation to fix a broken replacement phone sent to meThey tie the hands of there employees from being helpful, and have refused to help resolve issuesIn my most recent experience with this company they sent me a new phone with out return information with my broken device and will not give me a new mailing slip, because I am not an authorized user, if their website was near functionalIt would be available with just my phone number and zip codeSo why is it so secret over the phone that I know have to be an authorized userBottom line there policies ruin the opportunity for their employees to ever be helpful resulting in their star rating on every website

Very poor customer service reps have no information or even email addresses to send proof of claim summaryWill put you on hold for hours and ask you to email them to escalation mailbox, yet never give you te email addressI think this company should take a deep internal look at thier customer service and lack of communication!
I would never reccomend a company like Assurant, Inc to any one you are much better off with Apple Care

I truly don't understand how WE pay monthly to have insurance then when you file a claim they treat you like you've done something wrongIt's saddens me they act like that as if I have money around to have to pay to get a new phone

Very poor customer service The only thing they say is " these are policies of the company " UPS lost my shipping now I have to wait days while they decide whether they can send me again

I have been with t-mobil for over years, with as many as lines on my account, and currently have of those lines with T-Mobile's Jump/Insurance "Premium Handset Protection" covered by Assurant Solutions for $a month or over $a year But when I submitted a claim on a cracked screen for a phone under the Jump plan - , it was denied because it wasn't the phone currently attached to that phone number
Where is that explained in the policy? http://www.t-mobile.com/optional-services/premium-handset-protection-plans.html<... /> Apparently that is a Verbal only policy to get out of honoring the claim
Therefore what is a "valid" Insurance Claim - per their policy - Customer can attach ANY phone to the insured Phone Number - and file a replacement claim on that attached phones IME

I FILED A CLIAM ON MY BROKEN PHONE, THE AGENT TOLD ME SHE WAS SENDING ME AN EMAIL TO CONFERM MY CLIAM, IT WOULD HAVE TRACKING INFO TO TRACK MY CLIAMAFTERPT WAITING FOUR DAYS WITH NO PHONE I TRIED FOR HOURS TO CONTACT SOMEONE NO LUCKI HAD TO CONTACT MY CARRIER TO REACH THE CLIAMS DEPTI WAS TOLD THEY HAD NOT SENT MY PHONE OUT YET THEY WERE WAITING ON A FORM I HAD TO FILL OUT! WASNT TOLD THIS THE FIRST DAYTHE LINK WAS IN THE EMAIL I DIDNT GET,(AGENT PUT MY EMAIL ADDRESS WRONG! EVEN AFTER TALKING TO A TEAM LEADER I HAD TO WAIT ON THE EMAIL AND SEND THE FORMNEVER HAD TO BEFORE, JUST SOME PEOPLE HAVE TO NOT EVERYONE! I WILL NOT USE THIS CO AGAIN

I have been with T-Mobile for years and Assurant has carried the insuraqnce for several yearsI had phones go bad a couple of years ago and received replacements, no problemLast week I called T-Mobile about my new Samsung tablet that I accidentally left on top of the car and it got ran overThey said go to the Assurant website and file the claimI got on their website about 5:PM and filled out the form and sent it to them, received an email that said it was approved, and my new tablet showed up at noon the next day at my door!! Wow, what great serviceI read a few of the bad reviews and figure either I am just lucky or those people are doing something wrong to have troubleMy experience was absolutely great

I have decided today to just forgo the whole process involving The Standard and continue rehabbing until, I am full strength I may not receive weekly benefits but it really takes a load off my back not dealing with them I believe this has been the worst experience ever, when it comes to dealing with paperwork and customer service
Now, I went out on February 10th with inflammation in my lower in my lower backI was given time off to rest because this has been a reoccurring issue because of the type of work I do at OHSU (Oregon Health Science University)I understand that there is a waiting week when you are on STD but it seems as though I have to wait forever because of the communication in the background I received my payments intermittently, not once can I recall that I received weekly benefits I thought I paid for a service that would give me weekly pay at 65% of my work income Well, I guess in this case I should just be satisfied with receiving it every weeks and sometimes every weeks
I had foot surgery on March 15th, which caused more stress with this situation I was told that I would have to wait another week because they are separate claims When I called previously before I had the foot surgery I was told that the claim would be merged into one so I would not have any lag time Well, that was not the case! I had to wait weeks before I actually received
I find it quite puzzling that I have payments deducted out of my paycheck for a service that does not meet the expectations that are stated during open enrollment What I can say is that my claims coordinator has been a bright spot but that still isn't saying much about this situation I totally understand there are guidelines, forms and other criteria that goes into determining a person's short term disability but the process is really, really bad I would not recommend The Standard to none of colleagues or anybody that I know Lesson learned is plan better for STD and never rely on anybody to make on-time payments to youI was too involved in process that needs revamped, when I should have been focusing on rehabbing

Worst insurance company had a adjuster come out tell me it was covered 0/then get a letter from the claims adjuster from *** with windstorm denied our claim it was water damage not windIt's funny how you have to have insurance but when you put in a claim it's deniedWill never use assurant they don't care about you or your belongings just there money

Terrible companyI got renter's insurance with Assurant through Geico, as an umbrella policyOur house was robbed and we submitted a claimThey downgraded each of our items to older, cheaper models with higher depreciations, even though we had documentation
Once claim was received they would not take a phone callEvery time our claim adjuster was "away from her desk" or "at a meeting." All day, every day for about weeks I calledI could never talk to a manager because they were also "in a meeting." I was NEVER able to talk to anyone other than the person that answered the phone, who could only send a "high priority email" for me, that never resulted in a call back or any action on their partIt' is a scam to make you loose your mind and give up!

Assurant's solutions I think is a better company for cell phones and also the are very nice people when you call them and they treat you with respect way better than asurion that's for sure

If this is the company that you have your extended appliance warranty with prepare yourself to be GREATLY DISSAPOINTED Warn everyone you know NOT TO BUY into extended service plans with this company EVERY service provider they work with has the worst reputation and reviews THE WORST!!! They fix one problem to leave you with another You are better off paying cash for your repair I'm going on my 3rd service appointment in the last months to fix my washer machine I have no idea how this company has a good rating through Revdex.com

I insure my phone with Assurant Solutions via T-Mobile. They claim that the process is easy and fast, but my experience has been anything but. After 72 hours of no response to my repeated inquiries, I ended up buying a new phone out right. I also canceled my coverage.

Have been a T-Mobile customer for 10years. Always purchased insurance. Never filed a claim. Purchased a new Samsung6 with insurance. Several weeks later the phone was damaged and unusable. Went to T-Mobile store on Tuesday 7/14 and they called the insurance company. Information was exchanged. Deductible was paid and the Assurant representative promised it would arrive Wednesday via overnight FedEx. On Friday 7/17I still had no phone and I checked the FedEX site. It had been shipped by TRUCK!! and was only in Oklahoma. I'm in Az. Went back back to T-Mobile as this is my only phone and called again. Assurant informed that there was NOTHING they could do. Would not take responsibility for their mistake. I have lost three days of business. I was informed via this phone call that it might arrive Monday. I asked for any compensation via, pay my insurance, lower the deductible even overnight a phone. Nada. The manager stated I should get T-mobile to recompense for my inconvenience.
