Astoria Pointe

I went to Astoria Pointe on December 15, I called them prior to going and they assured me that they were contracted with my insurance and everything was coveredI went for daysI have since received a bill for $I contacted them right away to see what the problem wasI was originally told I was covered at in-network levelsWhen I spoke with them they again assured me that they were in-network and my insurance carrier must be wrong
I again contacted my insurance company and even provided Astoria Pointe's ID number to them just to make sure they had the right oneThey reassured me that Astoria Pointe is NOT an in-network providerI've been back and forth with them both for months now with no definitive answer as to what I owe and why
Until todayI spoke with *** today, they are not going to pay it, according to them they have a contract that says they don't have toAstoria Pointe has their heads in the sandTheir attitude is 'we did nothing wrong, you

ON AUGUST 24TH, I ADMITTED MYSELF INTO SUNSPIRE HEALTH DBA ASTORIA POINTE AND ROSEBRIAR FOR CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY TREATMENTI KNEW MY PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE WOULD NOT COVER THE FEE DISCLOSED TO ME OF $18,SO I PAID IN CREDIT CARDS AND CASHAT NO TIME DID ANYONE VERBALLY DURING MY INTAKE OR WHEN I WAS SIGNING THE CONTRACT INDICATE THAT I WOULD BE RECEIVING INVOICES FOR LAB SERVICES PERFORMED BY SOUTH FLORIDA LABORATORIES, LLCI ALSO WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT WHEN I WAS SIGNING THE CONTRACT I WAS VERY ILL AND HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS EVEN SIGNING AS I WAS UNDER GREAT STRESS AND DURESSI LEFT SUNSPIRE HEALTH'S FACILITY AFTER DAYS ON SEPT22, I NOW JUST RECEIVED AN INVOICE FROM SOUTH FLORIDA LABORATORIES, LLC FOR A URINARY DRUG TEST WHICH SUNSPRIE HEALTH SENT TO SOUTH FLORIDA LABORATORIES FOR PROCESSING AND THE AMOUNT DUE IS $4,I WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR A UDT THAT COST $4,AS THIS POSSIBLE COST OF TREATMENT WAS EVER DISCLOSED TO MEI AM SEEKING A BILLING ADJUSTMENT

Florida Laboratory. Additionally, a letter is being sent to Ms. [redacted] that will include our communication with you, alerting you to the full resolution of this matter.
