This company is out to scam honest people out of their moneyI owned an insured iphonefor days when it was stolen and my claim has been denied times so farCustomer service representatives are rude and one was even threatening

I dealt with Asurion about years ago I had a phone break so I received a replacement (aka refurbished) phone That lasted about a week before it started having major electrical issues Long story short, I ended up with about replacement phones over a short period of time My last experience was when my phone decided to start dialing buttons on it's own I was barely able to call a cab When they got to my place they couldn't call me, so they started honking I dodged out the door to catch the cab, tripped on a step and now have severe scars I my arm and knees The tetanus shot was a wonderful experience as well
Fast forward to yesterday I pay $a month to cover any damage I've already paid $and they wanted $as a deductible I asked TWICE if it was a new phone and not a refurbished phone, and they said that it was new Being skeptical, I asked one last time if it was a new phone, and they said yesLow and behold, what do I get? A REFURBISHED PHONE!!! I googled reviewed and found countless one star (nothing over that) reviews Oh, except on Asurion's website You can't post a review but they provide "samples" of reviews which are all 4-star I can tell that these are the reviews given at the end of your INITIAL CALL when you submit your claim, based on the customer service and ease of payment
I find it VERY interesting that the Revdex.com gives them a A+ rating when they have almost 2,complaints Clearly they want Asurion to continue paying to be accredited SHAME ON YOU Revdex.com You used to be a reputable company, but instead of finding a way to stay honest and make money, you turn into a crook, just like Asurion
I think a class action lawsuit against Asurion is needed They need to be held accountable after years of fraud
Oh, and I have screenshots of this review, so don't think about removing it

I have now had to turn to Asurion twice with mishaps unfortunately that were out of my control with my phoneThank goodness that I had the insurance this was definitely a blessingBoth times this company was very prompt and percise about processing my paperwork and delivering a new phone immediatelyI am so happy with this company they definitely run a top notch business

READ THE FINE PRINT!! When one purchases insurance, they expect to get the same item as a replacement, correct? Not with Asurion I have an iPhone plus in white/silver Well, guess what? They do not have this phone in the color I originally purchased it in - only the black/gun metal color There is no waiting list, they have no idea if/when they will ever get that color back in...bottom line: there is nothing they can do - take it or leave it - the function of the phone is the same they told me BUT IT IS NOT THE SAME I want the same EXACT phone I purchased coverage for (Minor detail, maybe to some, but like I said, if I am paying for the insurance/deductible, then I expect to get what I originally had)
To add to my frustration, I was put on hold for minutes the first time I called, only to be disconnected

My service request started on May Upon asking the agent about the replacement phone, I was told that it is the same phone but a updated modelThe cell that was sent as a replacement was in no way, shape, size or resolution close to my original phoneI've a vision impairment and for that reason I bought a cell with a 6" screen and a 1080XdisplayThey sent me Huawei Ywith a 5" screen and x pxWhen I called back to complain, I was assured that a Sony Xperia CUltra was being shippedThen I was told that no that phone was not approved for replacementWhen I complained, I was told that the same phone is being shipped and I'll get the email in hrswith the tracking numberNo emailI call again and I'm told sorry they made a mistake in the inventory and there is no phoneNow I'm pissed and ask for a supervisorminutes later supervisor Christen comes on line and after the memorized apologies for the inconvenience offers me the 'latest' SonyI ask her what do you mean by 'latest'? Normally, do you offer 'oldest' phones? I was told that sometimes that get the display phones from *** and then they make them 'Brand new' How do you 'make' a cell phone 'Brand New'No matter how much you polish it, it is still a 'Used' cell phoneI asked, "So what is your company offering to make up for the bad customer service, I was again reminded that I was lucky to be getting the "latest" phoneI asked for Express shipping and I was told NO, there was no express shipping available with either *** or *** This company sucks BIG timeI'm getting out and warn you not to do business with them

I was given a claim number and instructions how to file a claim, after that I was given the run around and it looks like I will be filing a claim against this company with the insurance commission of gaand consumer affairsmy time is valuable and this whole process has been time consuming and a big headachei will also share with my friends on facebook who number over a thousand do not do business with this shady company and ask them to share with their friends as wellits a scam

My experience with Asurion Insurance has been at best the worst experience ever They are not accountable to any of the providers so if they replaced your phone once they will run you through the all kinds of hang up the phone regiment to make sure you don't call back again My issue was simple I , had a phone that was stolen Feb and then it broke on Nov They kept on denying the claim until I just got tired of waiting my time and decided to go back to Sprint to cancel the service My plan covered replacement for stolen and broken phone

You probably don't need another customer review to know that this company is all about FraudThey will do anything to delay making paymentEach time you fulfill their request, they come up with a new oneAs an auditor, I have had lots of experience with companies like thisBottom Line - Do not work with any company that uses Asurion (or their subsidiary Card benefit Services of Nashville)You might as well not have insurance

I am very dissatisfied with your services I have been a loyal customer of AT&T for almost years I received water damage on my cell phone, so I contacted Asurion in May and asked for a replacement, they said it would be $for the replacement phone By the time I received the replacement my phone was working again, so I contacted Asurion and told them my current phone was working, so I would be sending the replacement phone back to them The very next day, I opened the box to get the paper out to mail the phone back to AT&T, I tracked the shipping and Asurion received the phone back on May 28, In July AT&T disconnected services to my phones, because of the $balance of the phone I returned I contacted AT&T and explained the situation, my phones were turned back on, but I was charged a bill for $to turn my phones, back on which was ridiculous! The AT&T Customer Service Representative transferred me over to Asurion and they said they received the replacement phone back on June 2, and would make sure my account gets credited, so my phones don't get disconnected again next month August my phones get disconnected again, because of the $balance I was traveling out of town doing an Audit Site Visit and had no access to a phone for hours When I was finally able to use a phone, I contacted AT&T had to explain the situation all over again, (why there are no notes in my account to review, I don't know) the AT&T Customer Service Representative told me I would have to pay $to get my services turned back on my phones, I told the Customer Service Representative I wanted to speak to a Supervisor, because I should not be responsible for someone else's mistake especially when according to my records AT&T received the phone back on May 28, After hours on the phone, AT&T finally turned my phones back on after Asurion was on three-way and verified they did receive the phone back according to their records June 2, Asurion told me they don't know why the services were disconnected because they credited my account on July 22, I received notification September 30, I had a balance of $and to avoid service disruption I need to pay the bill immediately I contacted AT&T and explained the situation to a Customer Service Representative, she said she would put a payment arrangement on my phone until October 16, to give Asurion time to credit my account; she then transferred me over to Asurion Asurion told me again they credited my account on July 22, and aren't sure why there is still a $balance, but they would look into it for me, I explained it needed to get cleared up by October 16th, so my phones don't get disconnected and they told me it would be cleared up before then I received notification today my phone still has a balance of $and if it is isn't paid by tomorrow my phones would be disconnected I contacted AT&T explained the situation to them and then they transferred me to Asurion, after being on hold and getting nowhere, I asked to talk to a Supervisor, she told me they don't have Supervisor's but they have a Care Solution Team member that could talk to me I was on hold for minutes, before I was able to talk to someone, she told me it is a billing problem, I would need to talk to AT&T, so they don't disconnect my phone tomorrow I explained to her AT&T transferred me over to her, so they could credit my account (something they were supposed to do almost five months ago) She said she would talk to the accounting department and it could take 7-business days, before they find out anything I told her, "I don't have 7-days; I am going to be out of town tomorrow for work doing an Audit and need my phone." I explained to her again, AT&T needs to receive something from Asurion that you did receive my phone, so it doesn't get disconnected tomorrow, she said they couldn't do that it was a billing problem After further discussion she transferred me back to AT&T to the collection department and I explained my situation again
This is unacceptable and should not have happened! Asurion received the phone back according to my records May 28, their records June 2, and today is October 15, and they have still neglected to credit my account for some unknown reason!!! I have been a customer of AT&T for almost years I even transferred my cable, internet and home phone over from Cox to AT&T almost years ago and this is how you treat me? Shame on you as a large Company to allow this to happen to me I have complained to supervisors in the past months and have gotten nowhere!!! I should not have to stress over something that I have no control over!!! In the past three months this situation has caused me stress, excessive worry and high blood pressure where my doctor has recently had to up my milligrams on my blood pressure medicine I want to be credited back my account for July 2015,

Very poor handling of transaction Transaction completed Jun 28, Was told cheque would be received 4-weeksToday is Sept 6, Transaction was only logged in their system August 30, 2016, with another 4-week delay How is this the customers issue!!

After paying for Asurion insurance for years with no claims, I finally had a phone die of natural causes - the motherboard went badThey charged me a $deductible for a replacement phone that was refurbished, and the screen doesn't function properly
When I called, they told me to do a factory reset, and that was all they could do and that if it acted up again to call themThe screen has turned itself off and given me a very concerning scrambled screen on two different occasions, but it's not consistently happening -- and I don't think a factory reset is going to fix it since it must have been reset when it was refurbished
I feel like $for a faulty, refurbished replacement phone is a rip-off since I have been paying $10/phone (that's $a month for my husband and myself) for years and I can find a refurbished version of my phone on Groupon for the exact same price without the monthly fee
Maybe Asurion is good for people who lose and break phones regularly, but for responsible phone owners I'd suggest thinking twice before using their serviceI will certainly be cancelling mine

I submitted a claim over the phone, they shipped my cell phone without a street or house number After I figured out it was being shipped back to them I called, spent more time than I wantedti on the phone with them straightening it out only to find out days later it was never shippedI had to call back the person I spoke to was extremely rude It's notable they had no problem taking my money out my account but they can't seem to ship me my phoneI am still waitingThis reflects poorly on Verizon as well that this is the only choice they have for insurance and there is so many negative comments about them

Asurion has the worst service in replacing devicesI haven't had a communication device for a month and a day now they charged my deductible in a heartbeat and to this day no phone they state its on back order but I've been told several times that I will be receiving my phone within 3-business days and nothing..to top it off they lie and they have no interest in customer care..Asurion the worst!!

Asurion is down right awfulI have had nothing but a bad experience with this companyI called to get a replacement phone because my LG vwas damagedIt took them an extremely long time to even find my phone because they said the LG vwas not a phone, they claimed it was a phone from years agoThey tried to give me a basic phone which definitely is not comparable to a smart phone price wise or on any other technology related level Even with the model number they had a hard time even finding the phoneOn top of that between trying to get the information sorted out I had to repeatedly call back Asurion to try to fix issuesAlso, after telling the customer service representative multiple times that address was not but they still shipped it to the wrong address!!!! Now the phone is going to the wrong address and there is no way that they can fix their mistake until it gets sent back to them which is going to take even longer to receive my phone on top of having to have it delayed to begin with because the address had to be submitted for review because it wasn't a home address but and apartment addressI can't even call ups because it's the weekend so there is no way to even remotely try to get my phone shipped to the correct address

I should have received my phone last Wednesday and i've completed already about claim forms and sent in affadavits and everything they ask and they say it'll come next day but my phone never comes so I call them again and all they say is "im sorry for your frustration but i'll make sure you receive the phone tomorrow," so I go through the entire claims process again and says okay it will be shipped and nothing ever happensThey are a complete scam, complaints here athey got an A+ you guys must be paying big money to keep that A+ they're don't know how to do business

Horrible Customer ServiceMy daughter broke her phoneShe attempted to go on line and file claimWebsite was still "processing claim" three and a half hours laterI then called and spoke to a person who was able to process the claim in about ten minutesShe then offered me to take a surveyI said I wanted the survey and she asked if there was a reason I would not give them all "5s." I said yes and was then transferred to another person instead of the surveyThis person thought I had just called and was about to reprocess my claimI explained that I only needed to get to the survey so I could give them lower scores and she hung up on meI called back and spoke to a third person who stated the survey would have went against the second personI asked to speak with a supervisor and after waiting several minutes and her telling me she had spoken with a supervisor was told a person would have to call me back laterAs soon as I get this replacement phone for my daughter I will never do business with this company againSave your money and use someone elseI paid them for past year and a halfThey charged me $to replace phone and then said they would charge me another$if I do not send them the broken one backThey are a ripof!

If you can in any way avoid this company for warranties on any product, DO SOI filed a claim and it took minimum weeks to get an appointment scheduled where then the assessor decided not to show up twiceAfter his recommendation, I was told they would send someone out for a second opinionThey cancelled this and never called meI called back, and they said only "mechnical" issues are covered- read your own manualsI was THEN told parts were ordered and they approved labor, but then got a voicemail from a manager saying they weren't covering anything due to the pictures that were in the account (try again buddy, you ordered the parts after the pictures were submitted)I called back, unsurprisingly got hung up on twice, and was then told a manager would get on the line with meThird hang up - no return phone callTrust me, if you want your warranty to mean ANYTHING, avoid these people like the plagueThey lie to get you to shut up, provide inconsistent information and have zero desire to help their paying customer-out of a

Last year I received a replacement phone from Asurion after filing a claim I followed all the instructions provided with the new phone and placed the old phone in the pre-addressed, pre paid, bar coded, envelope that Asurion had provided for returning the broken phone I began receiving phone calls from Asurion stating they had not received the old phone, but I assured them it had been mailed After days, we were informed by Asurion that they never received the old phone and they charged us $ I was shocked I had mailed it myself at the post office in the mailer Asurion had provided Then I did a Google search and discovered that there were lots of other people who had the exact same experience that I didAll of them had returned their phones as instructed, then Asurion claimed they never received the phones and charged them $
Today, I am sending another broken phone to Asurion We received the replacement phone last week after my other daughter's phone screen shattered This time, I am returning the phone to Asurion via Federal Express because I fear that if I mail it, they will once again claim they didn't receive it and charge us another $ At least now I can track the Fed Ex package and have proof when it is delivered to Asurion
