I have the TEP Plus through [redacted] I have paid $13 a month for this insurance on my iPhone 6 since I got the phone the day it came out. Unfortunately, the phone was destroyed last week when I was out of town on business- not fun but that's a whole other story.

I filed my claim and agreed to pay the $200 deductible AND THEN found out that the phone is on backorder.

I waited until yesterday and called [redacted] who put me in contact with Asurion. The rep told me that my phone was on backorder and they have no idea when it's coming in. I told her that I don't care what color phone they send me, because I need one now. She said they can't change the color. Fine. I asked since the phone isn't in stock and they have no idea when it will be, if I could just cancel the claim and take it in to get it fixed. She said no. Now, I can't even log in to track my status. This is ridiculous and maddening.

I cancelled the insurance that I had on all four lines with Sprint yesterday- because what's the point? As another reviewer said, I can go into nearly any store and get this exact phone but Asurion can't get their hands on one? Never again. Don't fall for their claims that you get a phone next day. You don't.

I filed an insurance claim and as their documents and their advertisement on the web states next day replacemen,t is not true. They said they didn't order enough phones and are out of stock so too bad phone will be shipped whenever they receive them. They actually said the phones are more popular than they thought. Not acceptable you pay for s service they say they will provide and they don't! They hung up me 4 times when trying to transfer me and never called me back. I would not recommend them and I canceled my insurance with them. So be aware they don't have to replace your phone until they decide to order enough for customer demand! Don't use them!!!!

Very simply, I was outside of my house and my phone slipped out of my hand and landed on the screen side right on the concrete sidewalk. Hoping for the best I picked it up and the whole screen was cracked. Needless to say, I knew there would be no way to repair it. I've had insurance on my phones for many years and never had to use it until now. So I immediately went online and started researching the best way to handle it. To my dismay, I saw many negative reviews of Asurion but what else could I do? That's what the insurance is for. So I crossed my fingers and submitted a claim online.
I submitted my claim online late Saturday night and I had a brand new (in a sealed retail box with the ear buds and charger included, not the all white box for a refurbished iphone) iphone 6s delivered to my office by Monday morning. The process could not have been easier. I'm very impressed by how easy the whole process was and I'm so glad that I had this insurance. A $200 deductible is better than paying full retail for a new phone. In any case, I know a lot of people have posted negative experiences but I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience using Asurion.

I think this place is the worst insurance company to dill with. There turnaround time for repair on my laptop was 3 weeks. How is that at all acceptable? After 5 phone calls just to get the shipping label they keep telling me was sent I requested to talk with a supervisor. After sitting on hold for over 10 minutes waiting for a supervisor to call me. I had the worker I was on the phone with put a request in for them to call me. Nope no call. After 7 days I finally got the shipping label. 2 days after that I got another 1 and 2 days from that another 1 and so on. I did request 5 of them. Each one was 7 days from the call and request. In all that time I did request one to be sent VIA USPS mail it never did come. When I did get it, it was ground of Corse. So it took a good 5 day just to get from NC to NY. Now we are 12 days in and my laptop isn't even looked at yet. Took them 2 days just to proses it in. Um ok 2 days just to say yes we have it. Then another 4 to repair. 18 days in now. And it's on its way back to me. Won't get it till Monday. 5 day from now. Total of 23 day for repair. I have called the customer service to see what they did to fix it and no one can tell me. All they keep saying is it passed the function test. OK. I sent it in because there is an internal problem that keeps making it crash. But all regular systems was working fine. So I expect nothing was done to it. If I could go back I would save my money on the service plan I bought. If I have any choice other than using Asurion Insurance Services, Inc. it will be I don't. Even if it means I spend 2000.00 a year on a new laptop.

I have an iphone 5c. I made the deductible payment. My phone was on back order. I kept checking on it through phoneclaim.com. I then recieved this message:

"We apologize for any inconvenience; however, for your protection, further verification is required to file your claim. Please contact us at 1-800-584-3666 and one of our Customer Service Representatives will be happy to further assist you."

I call the number and there is no human to talk to. It is an automation saying that my phone is on back order. I cannot reach a customer service representative so according to the message I cannot finalize my claim which I have already paid for.

I have lost work and money with my phone being inoperable for so long. Very poor service. Would not recommend assurion to anybody.

This company is terrible. Processed my damaged phone and paid $200 on Sunday. It said 1-3 days for replacement. I called to check status and they said at the earliest 14-21 days for a replacement phone. 3 weeks without a phone that I use for business? 3 weeks? What happened to the days you break your phone and you can get one the next day? I can get a car in hours but I can't get a simple phone for 3 weeks? Terrible company.

Worse insurance company, pay for more than 4 years and when I needed a replacement phone, it was deny over and over after filling all of the required steps to validate the claim. Was the point to have insurance you can not use. Asurion will look for any excuse to deny a claim. Even when proof has been surrender. Do Not buy this insurance. You will be wasting your money.

I had the worst experience with these guys from the beginning. They couldn't accompany getting me the phone while I was traveling. The deductible was more than it'd cost to buy the phone out of pockets and I got charged the $300 fee, which made the total expenses come to $460 - for a phone that I could've bought online for less than $200. When I asked the phone representative why his company thought it was necessary to charge at a rate of 250% of the expense of a phone - he had nothing to say. This company is wayward and crooked. Plus the "new phone" I received has started malfunctioning and when I called in to the company, they couldn't accommodate my circumstances (as I have NO OTHER PHONE to call them from) and instead of working with me the representative actually hung up on me. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST service and company in existence in America. They are essentially legalized criminals with terrible customer service principles.

I was very hesitant to file my insurance claim because of all the horror stories I read. I still managed to give it a try and I'm glad that I did. I filed my insurance claim on a Sunday and received my brand new replacement iPhone 6 in the mail on Tuesday afternoon. Overall, I am very pleased and would definitely recommend this company.

Asurion was extremely unprofessional in handling the processing of my insurance claim for my AT&T IPhone 6 plus 128GB. I called this company to file a claim after my phone broke. While making the claim the first person I spoke to was very rude. Later on in the claims process first representative she assured me I would get my phone FedEx and it would arrive following day. I was disconnected from the first representative. So I called back to make sure there was nothing I miss. Representative number two confirmed that my phone would be arriving the following day and I would need to sign for it because of the value. I took the following day (FRIDAY) off work and found it odd that I never received a tracking number. I called back talked to representative number three that informed me that since I called after 5pm that I would receive my phone until Saturday. I after I still did not receive any conformation emails with a tracking number. I called AT&T, which informed me it was going to take about 3-5 days. I told them what Asurion informed me of so they connected me with a manager from Asurion that apologized for the inconvenience. I asked the manager why your representative would assure me that the phone would be here. The manager said the representative was probably just trying to make you happy. I WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE HAD THIS COMPANY TOLD ME THE TRUTH. I WOULD HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WAITING FOR A REPLACEMENT PHONE. TELL THE TRUTH NO WHAT SOUNDS GOOD OR MAKES COSTUMERS HAPPY BECAUSE IN THE END I’M PRETTY SURE THEY WILL BE PISSED OFF ABOUT BEING LIED TO RANT OVER!

Having a horrible experience with this company. First of all, I was never aware that my [redacted] device is insured through this company. They are dismissing my claim for the lost phone because the phone was not activated after the upgrade. The phone was for a family member who was in a different state, so it was still in box. I lost the phone on my way, and have been trying to file the claim for two weeks now. The company reps are not helpful at all, referring me to 9 pages long contract. The contract has so many sections, which basically makes it imosible for anyone to get a replacement.

I have called this company every 48 hrs since they received my phone and every time (3 times now) they tell me that I should expect the e-gift card in my email within 48 hrs. Today was my 4th time calling and she just told me the same lie.

I payed $100 + the 'Processing fee' they charge to use the insurance for a phone that costed $250 brand new, it is simply not worth it. I suggest whoever you are that is reading this, buy a phone case and a screen protector it is much better than having to deal with this company!

Asurion has me convinced to give up [redacted] since they are the company handling the insurance portion for their phones. [redacted] is a good service, but easy to say that their insurance carrier; not so much. So far it has been 3 days and it seems that they like to go in circles with you. I have sent 3 affidavits to them and all have been denied. The first denial was because the transition date that I put down to my back up phone was not the right date (no problem, i'll call [redacted] and ask for the precise date). Second denial, because I am on my back up phone so therefore it is now considered the phone now under warranty; not the damaged phone. Unbelievable! Even though the correct IMEI # which is the damaged phone has been listed on the affidavit 3 times. The third, they said they did not receive a third and that I need to start another affidavit, EVEN AFTER THEY SENT ME BACK A CLAIM NUMBER VIA EMAIL. After explaining my frustrations with multiple reps, the last one (for some odd reason) began to explain to me how to upload the affidavit into the computer and send it in (AFTER I HAVE ALREADY SENT IN 3 AFFIDAVITS, 2 OF WHICH THEY HAVE ALREADY CONFIRMED AND DENIED THE CLAIM). ARE YOU KIDDING!!! I spoke to [redacted] after all of the mess (at least they have competent employees) decided to help me in this situation. If they cannot help me, Verizon will lose me as a customer. As for Asurion, they have already lost my business, and it is unfortunate that [redacted] has to stay with this scam of a company to provide insurance. I'd rather save the headache and go to another phone carrier.

I dropped my phone in a lake and Asurion had my phone to me the next day. I had to leave a positive review seeing all the negatives.... They were friendly informative and fast. Thanks some much!

The deductible for getting a replacement phone is hideously expensive ($100 for mine), on top of the $8 a month fee to insure your phone. I haven't broken a phone in years, so the deductible plus years of monthly fees are worth more than the phone was new. Despite this, I need my phone for work, so Ive submit a claim and I'm going to gamble with a "factory refurbished" phone.

Back when I had the [redacted] I went through several phones in the span of 2 or three months because their "factory refurbished" phones would die with no warning, for no reason.

Rating a 1 from 0 to 10 simply because despite their insanely expensive deductible, their next day shipping hasn't failed me, or anyone I know whose had the displeasure of dealing with this company, before.

Worse company yet. I have been trying to get a phone replace for a couple of days and they have the nerve to tell me that they will review in a few days to see if I'm getting a replacement phone. I will open a blog to find if there is enough disgruntled people and another carrier that will find another insurance company to replace asurion and ask people to move to that carrier. They take you through to much after they have been getting your money. They have good people but the company is a scam.

Filed a claim for a cracked iPhone 6S screen. They mailed me a replacement phone the following day, for $199. BUT IT HAD SOMEONE ELSE'S APPLE ID information on it. --Long story short, Asurion didn't check to make sure that the previous owner had "Turned Off My Iphone" now I have to wait two more days to get a new phone. Completely unsatisfied with how they handled it over the phone when I called, and I will never recommend Asurion to anyone again.

I was told by AT&T when I purchased new iPhones through them, that the multi device protection plan with Asution would cover any mobile device including a laptop. After having the insurance and paying premiums for 8 months, I attempted to file a claim on my laptop which had stopped working. It's been almost 2 months and I have gotten nothing but the runaround. I was told several times that all my documentation had not been received, so I resubmitted what they claimed was missing, each time being promised I would hear something back from them within 24 hours. The last call I made, I spoke to a representative who told me that none of my documentation had been received, at which point I asked to speak to a manager. I was placed on hold and being told she was getting a manager on the line. Then the same rep came back on the line and rod me that all my documents were there and that I should hear within 24 hours. I heard nothing. At this point I began to read reviews of this company and decided based on my experience and the reviews that they were not trustworthy and that I would not want to trust them with any of my devices. I cancelled my plan. I feel that I was deceived, wasted money( for which I feel I should receive a refund), and now I cannot get my devices insured with a reputable company as it's too far past date of purchase.

Had a claim on my account that I tried to dispute with this company said they would take care of it ..
It still on my account and the county detective is waiting for information from them to file charges and it's been 4 or 5 months that they have done nothing...

12:30 pm, attempted to submit an online claim for my T-Mobile MyTouch phone. Was prompted to call customer service at XXX XXX XXXX. First rep told put me on hold and then disconnected. Called again, rep said their system was down and asked me to call back in 2 hours. 3:30 pm, called back, was given a new claim number, but was told their system was down and to call back later. 9:00 pm, called back, was told their system was down. 10:30 pm attempted to resume my claim. Received this error: "A problem has occurred while processing your information. Please exit and allow 5-10 minutes before resuming your claim at phoneclaim.com. If the problem persists please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. Asurion, Your Technology Protection Company." 11:30, attempted to resume claim, system unresponsive.
