[redacted]  - it simply says that the information obtained to make the credit offer was obtained from one or all of the 3 credit bureaus.. Not that we (Kia of Greenville) report to them. It is specifying the source of all credit information. It instructs them ( a consumer) to contact the bureau if they feel something was reported in error or if they wish to obtain a report. Kia of Greenville ( or any car dealer for that matter) does not have any ability to report to any credit agency – we are not a lender or creditor. As for the timing, at this point, I have no way to reconstruct. We hand out at time of pulling the report and we mail. This could be an issue with the post office? The letters are not manually typed, they are automatically produced and generated in the compliance portal of the program we use to obtain credit reports and submit to third party lenders.

promote and advertise for a sales event; while there was a prize incentive for guests that come in, it is not deceptive in any way. It is clearly an advertisement for a car sale. Prior to us sending out any advertisement in the mail, it is fully vetted by outside legal counsel and meets both the letter and the spirit of the law. We do not engage in improper and deceptive advertising nor did we with this customer.I am sorry that he is unhappy, and I will ask [redacted] to again reach out to him to review his mail piece and discuss.  Thank you [redacted]

Customer purchased vehicle some time ago. Kia of Greenville assisted customer in obtaining financing through a third party lender. This lender required a variety of items in order to approve the loan (proof of income, residency, etc, etc). Kia of Greenville allowed the customer to...

take possession of the vehicle under a "Conditional Delivery Agreement". Customer reviewed and signed said agreement. This agreement allowed him to take the vehicle and trusted him to provide us with all the information the lender required. Customer agreed to these terms, which included, but was not limited to, that should he fail to provide in a timely manner Kia of Greenville would have to take the vehicle back and that Kia of Greenville would charge $35.00 per day. This customer failed to provide information as required, refused to communicate or return the vehicle. Thus causing Kia of Greenville to hire a towing service to recover the vehicle. Furthermore, we have no keys.Once we obtain all our property, inspect the vehicle, and adjust for the outstanding days, we will refund the balance ( if any). Customer should bring all the keys to Mr. Ken D[redacted] at Kia of Greenville as quickly as possible to avoid additional charges. Thank you,  Bob H[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 
The response does not address the lack of time between the April visit and the September letter dated in May.  I was hoping for a reasonable response. I will continue this complaint with the State Attorney General's office of consumer affairs.  I will also find the names of the actual owners of the business and file the complaint against them as well.  I fully understand what happened here.  The condescending tone of the response is enough and compounded by the lack of substance, a clear indication of the managers misunderstanding of his clients intelligence.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 
This is totally not the response I was expecting from a “professional” representing Kia Of Greenville.  While I too stand by my initial comments and complaints, I am extremely disappointed in this response.  This complaint IS NOT resolved!
