In Response to this complaint and the only one you will receive.1- Vehicle showed up here with zip ties on the vehicle Vehicle owner was probably not aware of themWe did not put zip ties on vehicleIt is a 16+ year old vehicle2- the vehicle arrived here with a damaged painted green bumper .3- vehicle left here with a brand new from the dealer painted green bumper.The original estimate was quoted with out paint time because we thought it was coming painted.When bumper arrived unpainted we needed to paint it to match original that was on vehicle Vehicle ownerwas aware of the change in $$ and contacted the third party payer who said proceed.We split the added amt with the third party payer.Nothing is owed to anyone and we will not be doing any additional service to this vehicle.Custom Color

The plumber tried adding unnecessary work, i.eremove and replace a galvanized line feed, and leaks outside a brick wallWhen I called Speedy Rooter Plumbing I said the tub waste pipe was the problemLeakage only occured when someone showered so it couldn’t be a line feedWater doesn’t go through brick wallsIt had to be a waste problemAlso I believe I should have been charged by the hour, vice the jobI will never use them again

-The customer, [redacted] , came into our store on May 27, and purchased a full bed, full mattress set, and a piece dinette It was explained to the customer that it would take 7-business days for their items to come in since the bed and dinettehad be order since they were items that we did not keep in stock in our store All of our orders are placed on either Friday mornings or Monday mornings, depending on the manufacturerHis order was placed on that FridayMay 30, Customer filed the complaint on June 13, 2014, which was the 10th business day within that 7-day time frame Customer said that he was moving out of town that day and needed everything right then, which we could only provide two thirds of his order at that timeThe customer did come into the store on Saturday, June 14th 2014, and we informed him that we did receive the full mattress set and the table set, we were just waiting for that truck with the full bed on it Customer asked for a refund, which there is a 20% restocking fee that has to be taken out of the grand total, since we have to pay for the orders we placed at the time we submit them The customer would have received 80% of what they paid, not the other way around Customer may have been mistaken on that information, but it is clearly stated on their copy of the receipt, and it is posted several times in our store, that there is the 20% restocking fee on all cancelled orders and layaways, and that all sales are final It would have taken 7-days for the refund to be given since it has to go through our corporate offices first, again, company policy The customer did, however, end up getting an upgrade from a full mattess set and full bed up to a Queen for both, since it was something we had instock that day, and it was at no extra charge So the customer did end up receiving merchandise As far as the phone issues, our phone carrier has been giving us problems with not being able to use the voicemail, which is why it says the "cannot be completed as dialed" when it rings for a while This is an issue that we have been trying to get resolved for some time now Our sales associate, ***, did have the customer call the store number while here to prove that our phones do, in fact, work If there is anything else that is needed, please let us know Thank you, [redacted] *** [redacted] *** [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:A business must stand by their word and agreements made with the customer over the phone and in personAn estimate to repair a vehicle to it's factory condition should include all parts needed to reach that goal, not include hidden costs and have no "shortcuts" in serviceThis business failed in providing all four aspects

We attempted to contact the customer multiple times last week when the last piece of the order was received.  We have finally been in contact, and the customer is picking up his items this afternoon 1/29/18.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The "gentleman" that quoted the repairs did not perforn the work quoted. I have checked with other plumbing companies and have had the entire estimated job redone by another plumber. This company rep misquoted the job. They know he did. Their employee was an elderly genteman, and obviously did not know how to repair, or how to estimate the proper repair. One gasket is not a $325 job. I have  also never spoken with this woman or anyone at this company in regards to the original payment, nor did I ever at any time say I would pay the rebilled amount. This business rep is now a liar as well, and this has become very serious. I also received a collection bill today.

This is in response to [redacted] complaint...We did a repair on Mrs. [redacted] faucet. We told her the price up front and she signed the contract..After finishing the job she signed the completion side of the contract..She wrote us a check which we deposited. We were then informed by our bank that...

the check has insufficient funds and was returned to us with a charge of $35.00.We called her and she said she was going to send another check along with the $35.00 fee.She then sent us a letter saying that we were to expensive and sent a check for a $100.00 and that should cover the repair and her bank cost and ours..I would have like to have had a chance to go to Mrs. [redacted] house and settle this..If we did something wrong we would compensate her but we never had the chance.There is nothing on the work order about a leaky toilet and that price would never have been quoted..We replace entire toilets for less money. I,m not sure what she is referring to about the $800.00 estimate...We do excellent work and we have never threaten a customer as long as we have been in business..If a customer is not happy with our work we fix the problem for free, period..This has been a policy of Speedy Rooters since the beginning.We have not cashed her $100.00 check and will not until this is resolved. We strive to have happy customers and am sorry this happened with Mrs. [redacted]..Sincerely,Daniel Devlin , President

We had seen an ad by this store on Craig's List, and were immediately intrigued by the prices on the ad. Unfortunately, when we got to the store, it was obvious that the ad was only a way to draw customers in the door but there was no reality to the price and the picture on there. We still ordered the furniture but it was a rather painful experience. The store there seems to be run by young men who either lack in customer service experience or manners in general. Not one thing that was advertised actually happened and they were quite rude in the way they spoke to us. I then went online to look at the reviews and it is obvious that I'm not the only person who has experienced this. I don't understand how they can expect us to go into the store and purchase items when we are treated so poorly.
When the furniture came, the quality of it was poor. Very different from the description of the salesmen. It was also missing knobs that we were promised would be mailed to us since I indicated that I will not be going back to the store to pick it up. We bought the furniture in December 2015, it was delivered in January 2016 and until today the 29th of February, we are missing the knobs that should have come with the furniture. I have tried to contact them several times but was unable to reach anyone and my messages were not returned.
The mattress we bought from them for $350 has already been replaced because of its extremely poor quality and the back issues it has caused my family.
These salesmen did nothing but lie to us and after we paid a large sum of money, we were surprised to receive furniture and mattress that wouldn't even last 6 month and of course they make sure to state that nothing in refundable.

When I called Speedy Rooter Plumbing I said the tub waste pipe was the problem. Leakage only occured when someone showered so it couldn’t be a line feed. Water doesn’t go through brick walls. It had to be a waste problem.
Also I believe I should have been charged by the hour, vice the job.
I will never use them again.

Sales team has twice tried to deliver wrong item or incomplete items and were not honest about it both times.I went to Atlantic Bedding and Furniture the first week in April to purchase a bedroom set, sectional sofa, and pub table with 4 chairs. When they delivered the bedroom set, they brought a chest instead of the dresser and mirror I ordered. Three different people gave me three different reasons why, so I had to go to the store to speak to the manager in person to figure out why they were trying to bait and switch me. The manager tried to say the delivery team put the wrong item on the truck, the sales person said they realized they didn't have anymore in stock, and the delivery guys said the sales person told them to put the dresser on the truck knowing full well I hadn't ordered it. So finally the manager said he had some in stock, but the sales person told me they had to go to Wilmington to get it and then they delivered it to me later that evening. That was the first time I had to go round and round with this company. Then, after a few weeks, the same sales person, [redacted], told me the sectional sofa and the table were in. I called him back Saturday and made arrangements to have the furniture delivered Monday after work. When I got home, I called the store to let the guy [redacted] know I was now home. He said no problem, they would be delivering everything soon. When the delivery guys got to my home, the first thing he told me was that there were no chairs being delivered with the table. At this point, I was furious. I called back and someone named [redacted] answered. I asked him why didn't anyone tell me that the chairs weren't in yet. He said that they tried to call me that day but the phone went to voice mail. I told him I called Saturday as well as today, when I got home and neither time did anyone bother telling me that the chairs weren't being delivered. He tried to say that they had to file a damage claim. At this point, I told him I was contacting the corporate office for Atlantic Bedding and Furniture because I have no time for dishonest practices. And to make matters worse, they told [redacted] financing 10 days ago that they had delivered all my stuff, which was a flat lie. They have lied multiple times. I told the delivery guys I was not accepting the table or the sofa because there was no way I would do anymore business with this horrible furniture store. I contacted [redacted] and explained the situation because I only have had the bedroom suite delivered, that's all I am paying for. [redacted] tried to contact Atlantic Bedding and Furniture so that we could adjust my payment plan accordingly, but was told the bookkeeper was gone for the day. I also called the corporate office and left a message for them to return my phone call. No customer should have to put up with this type of shady service from a furniture store. Desired SettlementI want Atlantic Bedding and Furniture to promptly work with [redacted] to remove the sofa sectional and pub table from the list of furniture I'm purchasing so that my bi-weekly payment will reflect only the bedroom-related items and nothing more, since those are the only items in my possession.

On February 7th 2015, I placed an order for a coffee table, we paid a partial amount of $80 so that the order could be placed. We were promised a delivery of 2-3 weeks. We are now on the 9th week after the purchase. When we call to inquire we get the same fake promise that it will be delivered next week. I have spoken to the salesman named[redacted], I left my number and name so the owner could call me, but that has happened either. At this point this is beyond wrong and I hope that the Revdex.com will do the right thing.Product_Or_Service: Coffee TableDesired SettlementThis is to inform the Revdex.com that this company should not be able to get away with not delivering on a promise, specially if the customer has made a payment. I expect for the delivery of the product, nothing more.
