Review: I visited the store and purchased bedroom furniture on May 23, 2015. Delivery was scheduled for June 6th. One of the items( a bed post) they delivered was damaged and they broke my ceiling fan. Management was called at the time of delivery and made aware of the damage and a new item was ordered and a promise of delivery when new item shipped. I paid the $200 cash delivery fee which is required at time of delivery. On June 24th two men came to deliver the items. The new item that was ordered was not in a box and was brought into my apartment unpackaged. The delivery men left before I could inspect the item. When I inspected the item I discovered it was scratched up and dented. I called the delivery driver on his cell phone before he left my apt complex but got no answer. I called the store and spoke with the manager [redacted] He was rude and implied I had done something to the furniture. I requested a refund and was told he had to talk to his delivery man to get his side of the story. I tried several times after that conversation to reach Mr. Cavalier but was told by a store employee that he was not available or in a meeting.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the damaged item(bed post)$282.00.

Review: I purchased approximately $900 worth of furniture from this business, on Fri. 6/5/15, and told that our items were written down in appointment book to be scheduled to arrive at our home the next day 6/6/15, between 1-3 pm. We waited until 3 pm and no delivery. We called and were advised the delivery driver was in our area but they overbooked and would not deliver our furniture until possibly Wed. 6/10. I am upset because I just moved to the Richmond, VA area from New York and am sleeping on the floor. I was lied to numerous times during my phone calls regarding this issue (told by another employee that the salesperson we were dealing all day wasn't in that day; our salesperson lied when he told us he would call us Friday evening to advise of the delivery price and then on Saturday were told by him that he did call, etc...) I'm very upset, angry and worried that I have been scammed and may never get the items I paid for or they won't be what I ordered. I want this resolved by this company. I wish they could have figured out some way to honor their delivery agreement with me.Desired Settlement: I think that in consideration the delivery agreement they made with me being broken (and never even receiving an apology) that my furniture should be delivered ASAP and free of charge. Thank you.

There was a miss-communication regarding the delivery schedule. However,we have, since then been in contact with this customer and are currently in theprocess of completing this delivery in a manner satisfactory to both thecustomer and the store and this issue should be considered resolved.
