I made an appointment to have a winter service/tufor my dual zoned HVACThey haven't been serviced in over years and the units are almost years oldThe technician arrived and and asked me where the units wereI told him one was in the garage and the other in the atticI was painting a bedroom in my house when he came inI went back to my painting and after using my ladder to go up in the attic, and then going to the garage, he was done in all of minutesI hadn't even gotten through rolling one wall of paint when he said he was done and everything looked fineI was very surprised he was done so quickly and asked him what he had doneHe said my units were pretty new and didn't require anything and all looked greatI went on to ask him about doing more comprehensive checks such as cleaning and oiling but he assured me all was goodI thought it was odd and felt uncomfortable that he was in and out so quickly but after asking him questions and his assurance several times, that all was good, I accepted that all was okAfter I paid him and he left, I called several other HVAC companies and asked them what they did when they came out to do this type of service and how long it would typically take and all gave me a long list of things they check for, cleaning, and a time frame of from - hrsI have called the company twice to discuss with the owner and he has not returned my callsI felt like I was literally robbed and would not recommend this company

The very next day, I had a brand new system put in be Wess and Spencer. They were very polite and friendly and above all, knowledgeable and professional. I got a great unit, at a great price, and one with locally available parts if service is needed or when the 10 year warranty runs out. My electric bill has dropped by more than the monthly payments.
