I was very pleased with my service from Dean Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. My 18 year old air conditioner went out and these guys came to the house the same day at time they promised. They were very professional and compassionate to my ordeal. I had a new air conditioner installed at a reasonable rate that same evening. I highly recommend this family owned business.
I made an appointment to have a winter service/tune-up for my dual zoned HVAC. They haven't been serviced in over 3 years and the units are almost 7 years old. The technician arrived and and asked me where the units were. I told him one was in the garage and the other in the attic. I was painting a bedroom in my house when he came in. I went back to my painting and after using my ladder to go up in the attic, and then going to the garage, he was done in all of 5 minutes. I hadn't even gotten through rolling one wall of paint when he said he was done and everything looked fine. I was very surprised he was done so quickly and asked him what he had done. He said my units were pretty new and didn't require anything and all looked great. I went on to ask him about doing more comprehensive checks such as cleaning and oiling but he assured me all was good. I thought it was odd and felt uncomfortable that he was in and out so quickly but after asking him questions and his assurance several times, that all was good, I accepted that all was ok. After I paid him and he left, I called several other HVAC companies and asked them what they did when they came out to do this type of service and how long it would typically take and all gave me a long list of things they check for, cleaning, and a time frame of from 1 - 1.5 hrs. I have called the company twice to discuss with the owner and he has not returned my calls. I felt like I was literally robbed and would not recommend this company.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE. I am in the process of buying a house and contacted Dean PHC to do an HVAC inspection as part of the contract. They were good about getting this set up quickly but have yet to yield a report from this inspection 5 days later with this being the only thing I'm still waiting on for my contract to be completed for this house. I've contacted them multiple times and got excuses every time for why they haven't completed the report, with promises to contact me back which never happened. I honestly don't know how a business even functions like this! I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU'RE WANTING PROFESSIONAL, DEPENDABLE SERVICE!!
Honest, quick, knowledgable and fairly priced are all ways to describe this company! We have used them twice, once for an air conditioning issue and once for a plumbing issue. Both times they came in a very timely manner, were very professional and knowledgable. They don't nickel and dime you with extra costs and fees. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them for any future heating, cooling, or plumbing needs.
