I called two outfits for an estimateAtticare came in $less than their competitor, for the same work, plus, they gave me a nice discountThey were on time, efficient, courteous, professional, clean, covered eveything in plastic from the front door to the hallway where the access point was located, and finished when they said they wouldI would hire them again in a minute

My family and I hired Atticare to re-insulate our home and trust that the job would be done extremely wellThis job was very important to us because my father is undergoing a heart transplant soon and the home must be very clean and free of toxicity through the air ducts, vents and in the attic overallBenjamin B(License # 997558), the technician that worked with us, did a very good job and provided excellent customer careHe took all our very serious concerns into consideration and was very genuine, prompt and straightforward throughout the jobHe kept his word with every detailI would recommend this company and specifically Benjamin for further jobs to my friends and family! Another employee who came out to do the work, Mabriz, also did a very good job managing the team and work on a timely manner

Atticare came highly recommended by a friend of mine who had recently used their servicesI immediately contacted the company and very quickly they called me and we arranged an inspection and report
***, the lead technician was most helpful with advice and explained thoroughly the advantages of Atticare and the materials used in lining the attic
A good price was negotiated and the work commenced a week or two later at my convenience
The Atticare crew arrived in good time and the work was completed at a reasonable hourThe protection material used for the entrance hallway was well prepared and they worked very quietly and efficiently
*** came and checked the work on completion - he was not 100% satisfied with a few areas and came back the next morning and fixed the few items - personally
I was very impressed that the company would not accept the final check until I was completely satisfied with the job
I can't recommend Atticare enough to anyone who should have any doubts

On February 15, 2014, I was very satisfied with the customer service and work that was doneI did appreciate the discount that they gave me for cancelling on me previouslyHowever, it is the farthest from the truth when they indicate that they cancelled on me due to the major weather impact that caused roads to be closed downThere were no weather issues those daysIf there were weather issues, I would completely understandI was informed that the workers worked jobs those days and needed to reschedule due to time restraintsTo indicate that there were weather issues those days is a complete lieAlso, on February 15, 2014, I never assured anyone that I was going to remove the complaintThe fact that I even had a complaint was never discussed, nor would I have discussed it with anyone but the Revdex.com or managementIt is not the workers concerns or my place to discuss that with them

I can't believe that after visits to fix the probelm, i.eremoval of insilation, clean up, closing holeds, and new insulation, shorting me on insulation as per contract, adding insulation after complaint, we still have the problemI am of the opinion that they are just " closing" what appear to be entry holesThese are not confirmed entry / exit pointsThey did not find tunnels because they look nearest the home access pointYet there are droppings which they vacuum up every time they come

just had my attic inspected and cleaned by Atticare in Los AngelesVery impressed by the professionalism of *** and his crew He explained the process, showed me pictures of the attic There was missing insulation in several areas Did not have any rodent damage
*** Game me an estimate and I scheduled the clean up within days They did a great job*** was very knowledgeable and explained in detail every step of the process
An excellent company - I highly recommend them

Our town home had a rodent contamination and after some online research we selected Atticare Corp to solve our problem Workers showed up on time and worked diligently through the day removing all the contaminated insulation and rodent feces and urine Disinfected attic and patched any holes with wire mesh Blew in all new pink Owens-corning insulation Hallways and furniture were all protected with plastic sheets Excellent clean up Totally satisfied star outfit

Considering the difficulty of the job, it was done very thoroughly and it only took one whole dayThe team arrived on time, they were all very friendly and professional, while keeping the whole work area covered with plastic sheets*** gave me details about each step of the job and even included pictures just so I would be informed!
The crew worked very hard and they were well organized

We are not pursuing our claim with the Revdex.comHowever, we have not reached resolution with AtticareWe have two reasons for dropping our claim with the Revdex.comFirst, we have learned that the Revdex.com has no enforcement armUnless Atticare chooses to cooperate with their request, the Revdex.com can do nothing to protect usAlso, because of the way that the Revdex.com’s algorithm for rating companies is written, Atticare’s letter grade will remain an “A+,” in spite of our complaintThe Revdex.com’s focus is not on consumer protectionThere is no reason for us to continue on this pathKnow that nothing that Atticare says is trueThey have not remained in contact with usIn fact, their last communication with me was March 22, the day before the air sampling was scheduled to be done on our homeThey contacted me to say that they did not intend to pay for the testsThe reason for the tests was Atticare’s extreme negligence in conducting their workWhen we pursued a complaint with their bond company, they tried to divert our complaint to their liability insuranceThey knew that our complaint was related to workmanship issues, which a bond company would addressLability insurance, however, does not cover workmanship complaintsLiability insurance only covers damage to the home (ex: a broken window), unrelated to the work being performedAtticare knows thisAtticare has done everything possible to avoid accepting responsibility for their mistakesThey have no interest in customer satisfaction or safety

claim of $We are asking for a full refund for the amount that we paid Atticare for their servicesIn my previous complaint, I went into great detail about the safety protocols that Atticare ignored related to fiberglass safetyI will not reiterate those hereNow I want to point out additional issues: They did not meet their contractural agreement to us, simply ignoring aspects of the work??"such as air sealing??"that the contract said they would doThey did not thoroughly clean and disinfect our attic, as promisedVermiculite insulation was left behindThey were aware of the safety protocols that they should have followed for fiberglass insulation, as their estimator made verbal commitments to us that they would follow these protocolsThey chose not to follow these protocols, presumably to expedite their work and increase their revenueThey disregarded safety protocol for the handling of vermiculite insulation, risking asbestos contamination of our homeThey subjected us to pain and suffering as we dealt with fears about the safety of the air quality in our home, and the implications for our health, due to their sloppy practicesWe moved out of our home for a week while awaiting air quality tests for asbestos, fiberglass particulates, and rat allergensThey covered every air vent in our attic with fiberglass batts, eliminating our attic cross-ventilation and requiring us to hire another company to rectify their workBecause Atticare did not air seal before installing the batts, we have another problem on our hands, as we need to find a way to uncover the air vents without cutting the batts, as cutting them can release fiberglass particulates into our attic and homeWe paid Atticare in full for a job that endangered our health, did not follow their contractural obligations to us, and which required many additional expenses, on our part, to rectify their mistakesWe ask to be refunded what we paid them in fullSincerely, *** ***
