We are submitting this review because of the excellent service and quality of work done to clean our horribly dirty attic, to repair broken or old vents, etc.,and to install new insulation. A five man crew worked swiftly and efficiently to get the job done. Each crew member was professional, very considerate of our new home, and polite. They continually updated us on their progress and their explanations of the process were clear and straight forward. We will not hesitate to recommend this company.
I called two outfits for an estimate. Atticare came in $1500 less than their competitor, for the same work, plus, they gave me a nice discount. They were on time, efficient, courteous, professional, clean, covered eveything in plastic from the front door to the hallway where the access point was located, and finished when they said they would. I would hire them again in a minute.
I need [redacted] who supervised doing my house to send a picture of the water damage under my back bathroom My Name is [redacted]
We found Atticare in the [redacted] magazine. Atticare sent a representative to our home for an estimate. The representative completed his assessment and provided us with a written estimate the same day. The representative contacted the office and they offered an appointment within three days due to an opening in the schedule. The work crew called prior to the appointment and showed up within the scheduled work hour. The crew leader explained the procedure, just as the company representative had, and the work was done in a few hours. The crew leader asked me to inspect the work after the attic was cleared and also after the insulation was installed. The attic looked clean and the insulation was installed appropriately. I would recommend this company or give a referral without hesitation.

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 15, 2016/01/26) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The check did arrive & was deposited. The confusion stemmed from lack of communication. Before submitting my last comment, nine days after they stated their resolution, I still had no mail. I called & was told a return call to me would come that day. Nothing, no call...no communication so I responded to the Revdex.com in good faith. The check arrived the next day. Ten days after speaking with their representative. Thank you
I am writing this review after having Atticare finish a very challenging and difficult project. I have been a Firefighter for 34 years. I have been in many attics and crawlspaces, and must admit that my attic was in need of major TLC. My home was built in 1886. It is a Two story Victorian and the attic had rodents, old wood and the insulation was in need of replacement.
As a member of [redacted], and under [redacted] and the Revdex.com I spent a great deal of time searching for the right company. I obtained 4 Bids for the project. Atticare came out on top for many reasons. First off their price was competitive. Their estimator/Technician [redacted] Meet with me and gave me a history and background on their company. He then spent 45 minutes in my attic and crawl space. He dressed in clean overalls to start the inspection. When he came down from the attic he changed into his clean clothes and meet me in my kitchen. He showed my around 20 plus pictures and videos of my attic. He explained Atticares process. [redacted] was a wealth of knowledge on rodent behavior and was very low pressure sale. He was extremely helpful and by far the best salesperson/technician of all the companies I interviewed. I signed the contract and was ready to go.
It was an easy decision to choose Atticare. And No, I do not work for them, or have been asked to write a review. The company called me the night before to remind me of the appointment on Friday November 27, 2015. The workers called me at 0900 am and advised that they would be at my house by 0930. They showed up on time and with a helpful friendly attitude. The crew was led by [redacted] and consisted of a total of four technicians. [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] arrived in a large Box Truck and went right to work. They placed plastic on all walkways in the house and covered the walls. Their preparation was outstanding. They removed all the old insulation in the attic, vacuumed the complete area with large outdoor industrial vacuums. There were over 70 bags of insulation and old Ductwork that they removed. They cleaned out old wood and debris that was over 130 years of accumulation. This itself was impressive. All during the process, [redacted] kept me informed of their progress. They completed the cleanup with small vacuums and removed every last bit of debris and rodent droppings. At this point I went into the attic and was amazed at what they accomplished.
The next step was rodent proofing with galvanized wire mesh and expansion foam. They covered in excess of 30 areas. (They started in the crawl space under the house, and worked into outdoor areas and finally the attic. At this point they took a short break, and I brought them a meal of Barbequed Chicken, Beans, and bread. (I believe that it is important to treat workers on your residence as guests). At this point, they were right back to work and disinfected the entire attic, and under the house. They then started the process of installing R 38 insulation throughout the large attic area. They completed all this work in 8 hours. When they were finished they cleaned up all the inside of the house, outside and all work areas.
I can only say one word as for the company Impressive. If you are looking for a company that does a 5 star job, they are the one to pick. I will be sending this review to the company, [redacted] and [redacted]. I have seen many coupons for $ 99.00 for an attic clean up, and must laugh. If you want quality and a first class job pick Atticare. 99.00 covers a company that checks your attic and sets traps. The old adage you get what you pay for is true.
I will recommend to my fellow firefighters, Friends and family to use this company in the future. From my initial meeting with [redacted]to the end process I am left feeling very positive on my selection of Atticare.
My family and I hired Atticare to re-insulate our home and trust that the job would be done extremely well. This job was very important to us because my father is undergoing a heart transplant soon and the home must be very clean and free of toxicity through the air ducts, vents and in the attic overall. Benjamin B. (License # 997558), the technician that worked with us, did a very good job and provided excellent customer care. He took all our very serious concerns into consideration and was very genuine, prompt and straightforward throughout the job. He kept his word with every detail. I would recommend this company and specifically Benjamin for further jobs to my friends and family! Another employee who came out to do the work, Mabriz, also did a very good job managing the team and work on a timely manner.
Atticare did a fantastic job for us, they called 30 minutes to their arrival, they protected our home as if it were their home, the explained the process all the way through and most importantly they took great care to cover up all exposed access points to keep out unwanted critters from our attic. I would absolutely recommend them to others wanting the same type of protection, and insulation in a home. The team of three men worked efficiently and were polite the entire time they were in our home. They were exactly what we wanted in selecting a company to handle this work for us.
[redacted] is the man. he came out and assessed my home, was very honest. said that I did not have a problem that was worth spending for.
Amazing company to do business with. Top of the line with everything. Was 100% satisfied with their service & people.
