To Whom it may concern,Unfortunately this couldn’t be further from the truthThe reason why the sales consultant had been in contact with her boyfriend was because every time we reached out to the client she had her boyfriend call us backThe client did receive a
receipt and a buyers order which they signed on 3/*/2015. Along with that they were in contact with both the sales consultant as well as the sales *** as to when their ORDERED car would be inIn fact, the sales consultant spoke with him twice on Saturday to confirm when the vehicle would be hereBoth the client and boyfriend have his personal cell phone number. As for refunding their deposit, no one was giving them a hard time, even though we had to swap out one of our vehicles for the specific one that they asked us to get them. The sales *** asked, respectfully, for her to come in person to receive a refund so that there is no potential fraud issues. At no time was he offensive, in fact he said that we have no problem refunding the money but that we just want to make sure that there were noissues moving forward

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Lynbrook Audi (Josh H[redacted]) told me NOT to get my car inspected. He said he would take care of it. If there was damage I should have be able to see the car and fix the  damages myself. And if they are saying the rocker panels where damaged ( charges  on bill come to total of $ 285) why am I still being charged over $800 for damages? Nothing is making sense. I did not look UNDER the car so I don't what that looked like. But I know the body and inside of that car was in PERFECT condition. Somehow I think there is a scam going on here. Someone took this car and caused these damages. I know I did not have dents and scratches anywhere on my car. I will continue to fight these charges against Lynbrook Audi (JOSH H[redacted]) and Audi financial services.

This is the Dealerships final offer to settle this complaint. We will inspect the car to find the reason the “Check Engine” light has engaged. If we find that the problem is with service, we previously provided we will fix those problems free of charge to the customer. Currently the customer has not shown any proof that the issues with the vehicle are in following with the service provided.   We do not feel that this Dealership has not done anything wrong. The Dealership had diligently performed all of its duties in regards to the service which the customer has paid for. We have documented proof that all services were provided. Other issues which the customer has found, such as problems with the rear camera, has nothing to do with service provide by the Dealership.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I appreciate the efforts made by Revdex.com to obtain a response from the Audi of Lynbrook representative. I deny the below statements made within the response as it is a made-up story on pre-existing conditions"The customer states that he “brought the car in good drivable condition and there was nothing wrong with it.” Our service personnel recall that the vehicle that the vehicle came into the dealership with the “Check Engine” light and “Oil Pressure” warning light on. These warning lights indicated certain malfunctions within the vehicle. The customer informed our service personnel not to look into these warning lights. The customer had full knowledge that the vehicle needed servicing in which an oil change and air bag recall wouldn’t repair"As stated in my initial complaint, all these pre existing conditions were brought in my attention after I paid for oil change service and at this time I was told to sign the document (back dated) that has all the pre existing problems listed. I declined to sign that document. I have proof of payment for oil change service. Statement within the response "2009 model and had 152,354 miles" does not justify that the car has zero remaining life. Something must have happened during air bag recall or oil change that resulted in damage to the car that its no longer drivable. As I didn't tow the car to the dealership. Why an oil change service was not denied if the dealership knew that such pre existing conditions would result in major issues to the car.1) Again my point is even if I agree to the dealership made up story of pre-existing conditions, I drove the car to the dealership for oil change and I would like it back in the same condition. They can return me the car with same warning lights on but I want it to be drivable. Also, why I am now being told by service consultant (latest conversation over phone) that we cannot repair the vehicle as it has expired and is equivalent to junk. Service consultant at the dealership has now offered me $500 over the phone for the car that was worth $4500 when I brought for oil change and air bag recall. 2) I agreed to even pay 1347 plus tax to resolve the pre existing conditions and dealership promised they will fix the car but afterwards kept on increasing the scope of work and now they have told me that the car is no longer repairable. In this one month period I would like to request what was done to my car that made its condition so deteriorated that it can never be drivable again. Dealership to confirm the current status of my vehicle as of now after more than a month at the dealership and what can be done to bring the car back to driveable condition. I also want to bring up the point that I still owe around $2500 to the Audi Financial (Financed the car in 2009). If dealership cannot bring the car to the driveable condition, I would at least like to get $2500 from the dealership to pay my Audi Financial loan on the car and breakeven. Otherwise, kindly bring my car back to the driveable condition in the agreed amount (1347 plus tax as promised after oil change payment was made and disclosure to the pre-existing conditions).

Sincerely,

In reviewing the Customer’s ([redacted]) file and complaint, we do not feel that the Dealership has done anything wrong in performing the service of her vehicle. We have performed the decarb and have replaced the fuel rail and one (1) fuel injector on the customer’s vehicle. The customer should...

be advised that there is a 12 month 12,000-mile warranty on any work that was performed on the vehicle. We will check the vehicle out at no charge for the customer to see if any replaced parts were faulty. We would like to advise the customer that the issues with the Back-Up Camera and the Tire Pressure Management System (TPMS) are not related to the work previously performed. These systems are not connected to engine. We will also check the issues with the Back-up Camera and the TPMS free of charge. Please have the customer contact Mike D[redacted] at Audi Lynbrook to arrange for this check-out.

Revdex.com:I reviewed Audi Lynbrook response in reference to Claim# ID# [redacted], and have determined that my claim has NOT been resolved because The check engine light is on. On the receipt it shows the same part malfunctioning. The problem is not fixed and was never fixed if the check engine continues to come on. I do not want to dispute what Mike D[redacted] feels was fixed or corrected. I am addressing facts and statements made by Audi Lynbrook Dealership. The issues are related and I demand a full refund for the repair jobs performed. I paid for a service and did not receive it.

They did call and left a message which I called her back right away. I asked her to come in and we can discuss and I am more than willing to help her.    There is a scheduled meeting between all three of us (her and her husband and I) today, June ** 2017.  this meeting was made before it was known that the Revdex.com was contacted. was able to obtain a goodwill amount of $500 to be used against [redacted] bill. This complaint should not reflect badly on Audi Lynbrook nor any of its’ affiliated companies and the dealership has not made any demand or claim against the Customer.
