Ms [redacted] purchased her car on 2/20/The vehicle came with a month/ 12,mile power train warrantyWe safety and emissions inspected the vehicle prior to her buying the vehicle however when she bought the car there was less than days left on those inspectionsWe told her to bring the vehicle back and we would update the safety and emissions inspections at no charge to herWhen she brought the vehicle in she complained about the vehicle steering, she said it veeredWhen we took the car into the shopthe shop told us that the previews owner replaced a tire rod end but did not properly align the vehicleIt is physically impossible to put a tire rod on backwardsThe second time we were contacted by the customer she complained that the vehicle was lacking power and running poorlyWe agreed to fix the problem at no charge to her whether under her warranty or notPlease note during the closing of every deal we inform the customer that we do not cover any towing charges and it is in the contract as well that it is at the owner's expenseShe called us and told us that she didn't feel the vehicle would make it to us under its own power and she did not have any money for a towWe agreed to tow the vehicle at no charge to herThe shop diagnosed the vehicle once we got it and determined the main source of her complaint was a defective throttle bodyThe shop also recommended replacing the intake gasket and an EGR tubeThey felt that could be a problem down the road for herWe authorized to fix all the issues and gave the vehicle back to Ms [redacted] with no charge to herA few days after picking her car up Ms [redacted] called us again saying the car would not startAfter discussing with the sales manager we contacted Ms [redacted] and told her we would tow the vehicle in since she had just gotten it back days prioronce the vehicle was towed in it was determined it had developed an issue with the ignition coilThis caused the vehicle to have a hard start condition and ultimately flooded the engine with excess fuel and led to the vehicle not startingWe replaced the ignition coil and all spark plugsShe picked her car up and has not contacted us since the last repairWe understand her frustration with having the vehicle repaired multiple timesWe feel that we have been fair with customerShe has not had to pay for any repairs to the vehicle, nor was she asked toWe also towed the vehicle at no charge to her when she said that she could not afford to do soWhile none of these repairs are covered under her warranty, we feel that we have done our best to make the vehicle right when the problems were brought to our attention

She bought the car the first week of September and after she bought it she had the car a couple weeks and the check engine light came on for a cam position sensorWe had it replaced free of charge even though it was not covered under her warrantyUnfortunate, for her the car had the same exact problem with it and as it turns out the cam position sensor we put on there was faulty so we replaced it again This was a few days after the first one we replacedNow her problem is an internal engine problem which is part of her warranty and as we speak they are putting a motor in her vehicle

The vehicle was purchased June 30, and came with month mile limited power train warrantyWe were contacted August 23rd and told it had overheating issuesWe said he needs to take it to Zisser Tire to diagnose the problem and if it was not driveable he would have to have it towedHe acknowledged the overheating issue and drove it Friday 25th instead of having it towedHe spoke to the service writer at the shop and said it would overheat while sitting at a stopThe shop said it sounded like a cooling fan problem but was not be able to look at it that day and needs to leave it for the next dayMr [redacted] said he would not leave it and would bring it backHe was informed that driving with overheating problems was not recommended and that engine damage as a result of neglect void his warrantyMr [redacted] left with the vehicleThe following Monday he contacted us about the vehicle and said it was not running at all and wanted us to tow itThe sales manager reiterated we do not cover towing and questioned the customer's decision not leaving the vehicle at the shop the first time when it could have been diagnosed on why it was overheatingMr [redacted] became belligerent and told the sales manager that Auto Buy Credit needs to pickup the vehicle because he was not going to make any payments and if we did not pick it up he burn it to the the groundHe also threatened to (expletive removed) the sales mangerAt that point the call ended

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2015/07/31) */ I'm not sure what she is talking aboutThe salesman who took the car told her we weren't aware she was having issues with the carShe's had the car almost months, and we haven't really heard anything from her since she purchased itIf she has a warranty issue, we stand behind the warranties, as long as the warranty is still goodUnfortunately, we don't cover everything under the warrantyShe had a month, 12,mile warranty: covering engine, transmission, and drive axleAs long as the repairs have to do with one of these, and she hasn't surpassed those 12,miles, we are happy to help her

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The repair issues stated in this complaint is not covered in the warranty we have for this vehicleThe consumer was given a copy of the warranty that was included in the price of the car, no additional warranty was purchased by the consumer

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2015/11/20) */ The day [redacted] filed the complaint she came in and made a double paymentEarlier this week she made another paymentEverything has been taken care of and the customer seemed satisfied

Shortly after buying the vehicle, there was a motor noise and the check engine light came on, so they replaced the motor for herShe had a warranty, so they put in a motor and she went on her wayHer salesman told her she could get the car in because she was complaining about her brakesAfter the 28th, I think the manager at the WFlorissant store saw this complaintHe said that he told her that it was not a covered repair, but she could bring it in and talk to my boss once he returned from vacation the next weekThe early part of July, the sales manager called her and told her to come in, and she never brought itWe did not have the vehicle out for repossessionAt the time of when she said it was stolen, she was past due on her loan, but not to the point of repossessing it legallyWe did not go get her vehicleWe have not heard anything further from herIf the car was stolen, she is not going to get the car inShe had a payment due on the 15th of June which she has not paid

When I took the car in for inspections, it was discovered that they super glued something on the motor so that it would pass emissionsTheir people passed the car on the emissions testThey should have fixed the car so that it would pass the emissions test before they sold the car to meMy mechanic told me the car will not pass the emissions test until I get that fixedThey sold me a car that should not pass the emissions test

We replaced the alternator at no charge to the customerThe water pump is not a covered repairThe customer placed 10,miles on the car since 1/months of ownershipThe customer service issue is with the finance company, which is a different company

This is his second car with us and he pays his bills fineHe is a good customerI explained to him that there is a leak in the radiator and it is not a covered item under his warrantyHe has a power train warrantyIt looks like he filed the complaint the day he came in and spoke with meI
explained to him that I appreciate his business but that it was not covered under the warrantyThe last car he purchased has the same warranty and I was the one that handled the paperwork and I am very thorough in explaining especially regarding the warranty. The customer also signed an agreement. I cannot change the rules/terms because this part is not covered

All seems to be resolved. We have spoken with both *** *** and his girlfriend. There was an error made in the diagnose by another service dealer. As a good faith gesture, we took care of the valve cover gaskets. They are to bring the vehicle back in a couple of weeks
for evaluation to confirm that this was the problem. They are satisfied with this resolution by us

I explained to Ms*** that when the vehicle was purchased it was in tact and sold minus a limited warrantyThis issue is not something that the warranty coversIf this particular problem was there when we inspected the car we would have been obligated to fix the problem but we cannot
determine when this problem occurred and we are not willing to repair this issue

She purchased on 10-24-and put $downWe told her when she purchased the car that she was purchasing the car as is and she signed the form she understood this. She did purchase an extended warranty however, the issue with the gas gauge is not covered under this warranty. She has
put miles on the car in days

The zero balance would be between the customer and the finance companyHe bought this car in November 12,We performed the safety and emissionsThe emissions were not ready to run on the day he took the carI do not have to have the emissions run before he can take the car but I do have to
guarantee that emissions will pass by Missouri lawHe brings the car back because the check engine light came on before emissions was runHe also said the brakes were pulsing like the Anti lock breaks were activatingwe replaced the ABS ring at no costAnd the check engine light was for an evap vent valve also repaired at no costHe brought the car back on 11/25/and the emissions passedI have a copy of the passed emissions testThe accusation that we used another car to pass his is impossibleThe device used to run the test has to be hooked up to the car being tested in order to give a resultMr*** never made a payment on this carNot one

The customer purchased this vehicle 6/24/with 156,miles. Shortly after he purchased the car he complained of a vibration and anti-freeze leak. We replaced tires and a hose cap on the radiator at no charge. Two weeks after purchasing on 7/12, he called and reported that the
vehicle had broken downTowing coverage is not part of his warranty bu as a good will gesture, we did cover the towing chargeThe repair facility found that the serpentine belt tensioner had broken. When this happened, the belt broke off a part of the plastic timing coverThe piece that broke off lodged between the pulley and caused the engine to jump time. It was then determined that this caused a compression issue in the motor and the engine would need to be replaced. His warranty had a $deductible but since he had just had the car days and we waived the deductible. (Note: The car at this time with him only having it for days had already logged miles.) We replaced the engine and it was ready to be picked up 7/Mr*** said that he would not make any payments on the car while it was down. At the time it first broke down on 7/12, he was already days past due on his payment. On 7/when he was to pick car up again, it was days past due. The manager told him that we had waived the $deductible and the towing charge and that he would need to bring account current before car would be released to him.On 8/2, he brought the account current and pickthe car. On 8/he brought the car in for overheating. The repair shop admitted a mistake and had reversed the hoses. They fixed this issue. On 8/8, he still reported problems with overheating. We replaced the thermostat and the O ring on the high side of the compressor. These are not covered repairs but we still fixed them at not charge. Mr*** picked up the car on 8/and there has been no further contact from him. At this time he is days past due on his 2nd car payment

To whom it may concern;
*** *** purchased her vehicle on 07/25/
Her coolant fan is not part of her warrantyHer warranty covers the internally lubricated parts of her engine, transmission, and drive axleThe coolant fan is outside of the engineAs far as her tire replacement
I/our company was not aware of any problemHowever, tires are also not part of her warrantyI cant speak as to why she has replaced tiresWas their damage to the vehicle since purchase, causing unusual tire wear? How many miles has she put on the vehicle since purchase? Not sureI would suggest she call us, where we would refer her to the shop we use for serviceThey specialize in tiresThey would be able to assess her problem of why she has replaced tires, which according to her,has been timesHowever, to repeat my earlier statement, tires are not part of her warrantyTires fall under wear and tear maintenance itemsThank You, *** ** ***, Sales Manager

I believe that we have reached a resolution with the consumer. He paid the $deductible as per the terms of the warranty and we covered the costs of the repairs under his warranty as well as we paid for his tow

Ultimately, her vehicle was repossessed because she was past dueShe was informed that it could not be cancelled until a payment was receivedWe did receive the payment, but not until after it was repossessedWe came to an agreement, and allowed her to have her vehicle backEverything is good on
her end, she is on track with her payments, and everything is good at this point

The speedometer is faulty and we agreed to repair it at no chargeYou did not bring the car in until just before the holidayWe ordered the part and when it arrives we will call to set an appointmentWe also spoke to your father about this
