Review: We purchased a used 2014 [redacted] from this dealer and that same day we noticed electronic issues with the Blind Spot Warning System, Door Locks/Rear Hatch Release, and Security System. We communicated these issues to them and they told us to bring it to an authorized dealer for manufacturer warranty repair. We brought it to [redacted], who then refused to do the warranty work because the issues were atypical for such a model and year and they found evidence of damage to the vehicle including re-painting that were not "fit and finish" of an [redacted] paint repair.
We then returned to the dealer, who admitted to my husband that they did repair work and painting in response to an alleged incident in their used car lot. Although we did buy a used car, this is clear evidence of a cover up and it was not disclosed by the [redacted] or on their own documentation that we signed indicating that the vehicle had no previous defects at all.
At this point, the dealer has stated that they would return to the [redacted] dealer to have them do the repairs under manufacturer warranty somehow. We have asked for verification. However, based upon the interaction thus far, I remain suspect of their promises.
Our desired outcome would be for them to take the vehicle back and make us whole financially.Desired Settlement: Rufund us the money spent and take the car back into inventory with the proper documentation of the damage to the vehicle for the next consumer to be informed of.

In response to this complaint. We here at Auto House of Southington are very interested in helping make sure any issue pertaining to fixing a safety item on the vehicle during the warranty period is repaired. We have made arrangements to have the repairs done.
Review: rushed to purchase a vehicle before all needed paperwork was ready resulting in limited or no time to complete legalities required per state law.

We here at Auto House of Southington are completely surprised by this complaint.There was no high pressure or rush in completing this sale. As a matter of fact we stayed open late to complete the paperwork and delivery.
