Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,
I have ten days from when I receive the mail to file a motion in civil courtOnce again I have not received a letter stating my car is in repossessionThis is getting too drug out if this doesn't get resolved here and now it will be brought to civil court your not going about this legallyI will also be making a visit to the dmv to relay and illegal operation and have all cars pointed and make sure all the cars are fixed properly as I believe he is selling cars that are not legal

The repossession letter was sent certified mail and regular mailThis matter is closed

no car payments were made (not one single payment)....the vehicle was put into repossessiontow bill for the towing company was not paid so they would not release the vehicle until
payment was made

I am rejecting this response because: His version does not match actual factsAs stated previously, what ever his version of my experience was, it does not match what he represented as the true condition of the vehicle sold to me on his lotI can tell you this for a fact, not one person who has seen the photos from his own website can see the defects which became obvious once everyone saw the facts in plain view if you knew where to lookHe can claim all he wants that I saw all these defects, or that I inspected it on his lotOne thing I know for a fact, he will lose business if this is how he continues to treat disabled veteransAlso, he insinuated that I was supposed to pay for the CD/Radio he replacedWell, that's not what I understood when he balked at the price of repairing itClearly, his communications skills do not match expectations any person would accept

I am very surprised on this Revdex.com claim filed by Mr* after all we have done for himLet’s be honest and start with the true story before coming to any of the disputesI have gone above and beyond providing excellent customer service from the beginning to endI have taken in a trade that
needed extensive work to make it ready for saleAll receipts are available and the money I spent on your trade shows that not only It was not a clean trade in but it needed major repairsAs for the vehicle you purchased, there has been nothing new about it since you purchased it and none of the items you called out in your claim as issues was hidden from youWhen you purchased this vehicle everything was checked out by you and I even spent several hours with you before you finalized your decisionI shared lunch and we discussed everything to make sure you are aware of the terms and conditions of this purchasePlease review your paperwork and I am sure you understand what “AS-IS” means when it comes to purchasing a used vehicleI had no obligation to repair your radio a week after the purchase and you agreed to pay for it if I get you a new radio at wholesale price utilizing my resourcesI did so and you failed to pay for it after the new radio was installed on your carI ended up paying for that as wellI have done my best trying to create a good experience for you buying your new used vehicle from Auto King but nothing more could be done since you did not hold your end of the dealYour key problem and all the other items you mentioned in your claim was there since the beginning and you were well aware of them all before your purchaseLet’s be honestYou would not have purchased this vehicle if this was not a good vehicle at the first placeSo you purchased a good car from Auto KingAny repairs at this point is your sole responsibility and Auto King is not able to reimburse youBest of luck, *** ***, President

That's part of the larger issue, the FTC requires a buyers guide be attached. From my research and complaint I filed with the FTC, I never got the full document required. What the FTC site shows is a 3 page document. Nor did he honestly admit there were issues hidden by his photographs. I assure you, had those defects been obviousin the online photos, I'd have never made the trip so far north. It's way out of my normal driving distance. In all my past experiences, I've never dealt with any dealershipfalsely advertising a car or truck. In the Modesto area where I'm from, the dealerships have never done anything like this on any vehicle I purchased. How can I provide you with documents I don't have in my possession to begin with?

All paperwork signed during your purchase has been explained to you clearly and you have acknowledged all terms and conditions of the deal. Buyer's guide is no exception and copies were provided to you as well. Please see attached for provided documentation during the sale indicating the vehicle was sold "AS-IS" with your signature acknowledging it. All photos in the ad were taken from the vehicle you purchased and nothing was hidden. Obviously, items such as a fine crack in the paint can not be captured with a regular camera from a distance. In addition, you have came in to the dealership and personally test drove and inspected the vehicle before you purchased it. I wonder how you did not realized even a few of the many items you mentioned in your claim during all the time you spent examining the vehicle before you decided to purchase it. As I mentioned in the previous response, we have gone above and beyond providing excellent customer service from the begging of your purchase till now but, unfortunately, we will not be able to continue doing so as your accusations continue. With all do respect, you purchased a several years old used vehicle in "AS-IS" condition with no warranty and Auto King is not able to reimburse you any further at this point. Sincerely, [redacted], President

Company states: The car was repossessed because of the default in payment. Failure to have insurance on the car. At the time of the repossession the customer did not comply with the repossessing company. I demanded full payment on the car. The car was sold today at the auction.

Business states that he has spoken to the primary buyer regarding the situation. Business informed him that his girlfriend  is welcome to contact him directly so the situation could be further explained in detail as the issue  involves the finance agency as well as the DMV.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Company states that after receiving word form the transmission company; they will be refunding the money for the transmission and the company will be doing the same and giving back the security deposit back to the customer. The customer did not have to pay anything out of her pocket and the company has handled all concerns under warranty.

To whom it may concern: On 8/30/14 we sold a 99 Mazda 626 to [redacted] and her grandmother [redacted] test drove the vehicle on the freeway before purchasing the vehicle and even shopped other lots before...

making her final decision. She had no problems with the vehicle during the test drive. The vehicle passed smog on 4/29/14, DMV ID #2080G861P199. On Monday, September 1st she called to notify us that over the weekend she drove back and forth to San Jose, CA and Fresno, CA and noticed an issue with the transmission and check engine light. We sent a mechanic to diagnosis the issue and towing to not further damage the vehicle. Due to the check engine light we replaced the catalytic converter at [redacted] (P) ###-###-#### for $395 on 09/02/14, invoice #26591. The transmission was from a reputable used parts company known as [redacted] (P)###-###-#### and we paid $665 on 09/05/14, invoice #59202369. We paid [redacted] (P) ###-###-####, $225.00 to install the first transmission. Unfortunately, we learned the used transmission was no good but we were able to drive it to Fresno for delivery with no issues. We immediately sent for the original transmission to be rebuilt while we towed the vehicle from Fresno again. It was rebuilt by [redacted] (P) ###-###-#### at [redacted] on 09/17/14 for $1100. Since September 17th, the rebuilt transmission has been installed and we have confirmed with [redacted] that the vehicle is in good working order. As a courtesy we extended her due date by ten days to make up for time she was without the vehicle. We have done what is right for this customer. Please note that there is no record of any odometer issues and we are not insured for loaner cars, which was explained to [redacted]. Auto King provides warranties on their vehicles and backs them up as noted in the above problems. All vehicles are used and we are not aware of all the issues that may arise after a sale but we do pledge to fix any issues within the warranty period and as outlined by CA DMV laws. We are aware that it may be an inconvenience to those customers that have issues with a used car but that is what the warranty is for. This customers grandmother was very impatient and brought her daughter, the customers mother, to our place of business to cuss, swear, and flip us off, for doing our job; which we found very disrespectful and out of touch with the way we do business. They demanded location of the vehicle where it was being worked on and copies of the sales contract, which we could not give the mother. [redacted] asked us not to give any information to the Grandmother and her mother. According to [redacted] she does not get along with her mother. Auto King takes pride in its business and will continue to provide honest and top of the line custome[redacted]. We wish the customer and her family the best with the vehicle. For any questions please contact [redacted] at Auto King at ###-###-#### or our now happy customer [redacted] at ###-###-####

Review: I bought a car from Auto King March 8th 2016. A 2006 Chevy Equinox and put $[redacted] down. On March 12 I contacted owner of Auto king to tell him my check engine light had come on after driving it off the lot on the 9th. He told me to stop in on March 12 so he could run the codes. Code came back as catalytic converter and no issue would come Of it but gas mileage might change. On March 19th my car had stopped working. It would not start. I tried jumping the vehicle as well as hooked it up to a battery charger. I was not able to start the vehicle so it sat in my driveway from March 19th till April 15th. I had contacted owner of Auto king multiple times trying to get him to fix the problem he offered no help. It wasn't until I said I was going to file for lemon law did he send his mechanic to come get the vehicle. I then had to contact Auto King to figure out when he would have it fixed. He told me he would not fix it until I gave him my $200 payment for March. I told him I did not think that was fair when I wasn't able to drive the car more then a week. He also advised me that the tow and battery would be covered under his 6 month warranty . I tried to stop into Auto King and resolve it he got very hostile towards me so I left. He called the police and said I threatens him and I'm not allowed

back in the premises. My mother then contacted him to resolve the issues which he then told her he will not give me my car back at all. I got no repossession notice or anything. He is simply taking my money and running off. Im a single mother who revives no help and work as many hours as I can I'm without a car and had to borrow someone else for a weekly rate. I either would like my money back or the vehie I purchased.Desired Settlement: I would like my vehicle back or my $[redacted] down payment.

Review: Two weeks after buying a vehicle from auto king I brought up an issue with [redacted] the dealer and owner of the business. My transmission had been slipping between all gears even after when I purchased the vehicle he had stated that he just had put a new transmission in it. He stated that the transmission itself was still under warranty and he would contact the yard he had bought the transmission was bought from. Even after all of this another two weeks go by and he gives a big sob story of he has mold in his house and this and that and hes sick so he hasnt been able to contact anyone. I kept pressing the issue to fix the transmission and nothing has been done. Completely unprofessional, I am not going to replace a faulty transmission that was suppose to be new and wasnt.Desired Settlement: I desire this problem to be resolved since the dealership has been dancing around it for months

Review: I purchased a vehicle in which will not pass emissions. They refuse to switch me into another vehicle yet are requesting me to keep making payments. I had the vehicle 5 months its failed emissions 5 times, and is not registered in my name. I don't have current up to date plates and there threating to add a repo on my credit if payments are made.Desired Settlement: I would like all monies refunded, or another vehicle.

I took my car in to have the bumper fixed. . I also got my timing belt replaced . Was cheaper then they quoted that never happens. .honest group of people
