[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:In the matter of Autoland's response, the paperwork Autoland submitted was not signed until two days after the purchase of the vehicle Even if you purchase a vehicle "as is," the seller still has to disclose known defects, and can be liable for fraud or misrepresentation as to the vehicle's condition I was informed after my debit card was swiped that the printer wasn't working Pejman S [redacted] assured that vehicle was in good working condition and had no mechanical issues Pejman also stated if a problem arises they would take care of it and don't worry As I stated in my initial report I started encountering problems two days after the purchase of the vehicle (Engine Light) As I said I called and was told to bring the vehicle back to be fixed The car was bought back to be fixed and was givn a hour turn around time to pick the vehicle back up When I picked up the car the following day the engine light problem seemed to be fixed only for the engine light to return days later I popped up at the dealerhip to speak with Pj about the issue again ony to be threatened to leave the property when I demanded the return of my money and to dissolve the purchase and return there vehicle since having the same prolem with the car reappearing again I have been anything but nice with the company even after I was disrespected, mistreated, defrauded, lied to and hung up several times Pj is trying to avoid the fact that the car was malfunctioning and defective when I brought it and he wants to say that I have to pay him more money in order for the motor and catalytic converter.to be fixed The only problem I'm having with that issue is I feel because they never disclosed the underlined mechanical issues on the vehicle, they should take care of the bill themselves Since talking to Kat and faxing the information requested from them and seeming we couldn't come to resolution, I asked if I could but my own motor since he stated I had to pay for my own parts and they would cover the labor I wanted to buy a motor with to 50,miles or less so I could ensure the car would last longer Kat said no, I had to pay $and they will buy the parts I'm not understanding why I can't have the motor I want in my car that I have to additional pay more money for I never told them about the rusted oil pain I replace, the front and rear brakes I replaced I have spent over $in repairs on my own including the car being towed from Delware after the motor failed on the highway ($450.00) This situation has been very stressful to myself and family causing me see to a doctor for severe DEPRESSION and being prescribed medicine to deal with this dealership and the financial bind they have caused The emotional distress I have endured dealing with this dealership has been overwelhing I just want my car fixed and my family back I have lost everything dealing with Autoland Thank you in advance Regards, [redacted] ***

AND FOR THOSE DAYS THAT I DID HAVE THE CAR, IT SPENT MOST OF THE TIME IN THE SHOPI LITERALY TOOK THE CAR IN EVERY OTHER DAY TO GET IT CHECKED, BUT OF COURSE THESE GUYS DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO IT BUT JUST KEPT GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND LYING AND TELLING ME THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT EVERY TIME I WENT BACKWHAT THEY KEPT DOING WAS JUST TURNING OFF THE ENGINE LIGHT WITH THEIR LITTLE MACHINE THEY HAVE TELLING ME THAT IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE WRONG TYPE OF GAS I WAS PUTTING IN THE CAR AND THAT THE LIGHT WAS GOING TO GO AWAY WHEN I BURNT ALL OF THE OLD GASSECOND I WOULDNT HAVE GOTTEN THAT CAR IF THEY WOULD OF TOLD ME FROM THE BEGINNING THAT THE CAR WAS SOLD "AS IS"THEY TOLD ME I HAD A FREE DAY WARRANTY FROM THEM OF ANYTHING THAT COULD GO WRONG WITH THE CAR IN THAT TIME PERIODI TOOK IT BACK THE SECOND DAY I GOT IT AND THEY ALREADY HAD SWITCH THEIR WORDS ON ME, AND TOLD ME THAT THE WARRANTY WAS ONLY GOING TO COVER THE LABOR AND NOT FOR THE PARTS THAT THE CAR NEEDED IN ORDER TO BE FIXEDWHEN I TOOK IT BACK FOR GOOD WAS FRIDAY, MARCH 13TH BECAUSE THE BANK TOLD THEM THAT THE CAR HAD TO BE COMPLETELY FIXED AND THAT THEY HAD TO SEND PROVE OF THE CAR BEING FIXED IN ORDER FOR FOR ME TO GET THE LOAN FROM THE BANKTHIS GUYS PRETENDED THEY WERE GOING TO FIX IT SO THEY TOOK THE CAR FROM ME THAT FRIDAYI TOOK MY FRIEND [redacted] WITH ME THE DAY THEY TOLD ME WHEN TO DROP THE CAR AND THE DAY I DROPPED IT OFF TO THEMDAYS PASSED AND I DID NOT HEAR BACK FROM THEM UNTIL I CALL THEM DAYS LATERAND THEY HAD TOLD THAT THE CAR WAS FIXED BUT THAT THE BANK SEND BACK MY CONTRACT BECAUSE I WANST APROVED FOR THE LOAN AND THAT I HAD TO PAY DOLLARS MORE TO DO A NEW CONTRACT WITH THEM OTHERWISE I WASNT GOING TO GET THE CAR BACKSO I TOLD THEM NO AND THAT I WANTED THE CAR I TRADE IN BACK AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE IT BACKI CALL THE BANK AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE CONTRACT HAD BEEN RELEASED FROM THEM AND THAT THEY COULDNT ASSIST ME WITH NOTHING ELSE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY OF MY INFORMATION WITH THEMSO IT MADE SENSE TO ME BECAUSE WHEN I WENT BACK TO THE DEALER WITH MY BOSS WHOM GAVE ME A RIDE TO WORK THAT DAY, WE WENT AND ASKED FOR MY CAR BACKTHESE GUYS REFUSEDI CALLED THE MANASSAS CITY POLICE AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATIONTHE COP TOLD ME THAT IT WASNT THE FIRST TIME SOMEONE CALLED HIM FOR THE SAME REASON AND THAT HIM PERSONALLY HAS BEEN CALLED IN AND FOR THE SAME DEALER MANY TIMES BEFORE FOR THE SAME REASON IM COMPLAINING ABOUTHE ASKED ME TO GET AND ATTORNEY WHICH I DID AND LAWSUIT THEMSO THAT DAY I JUST ASKED TO GET MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS OUT OF THE THEIR CARAT FIRST THESE PEOPLE DIDT WANT TO LET ME TAKE THEM OUT, BUT I DID AND SAW THAT THE CAR WASNT FIXED LIKE THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ON THE PHONETHE DOOR HANDLE WAS EVEN WORSE THAN HOW IT WAS BEFOREAND OF COURSE I STARTED PUTTING THE PUZZLE PIECES TOGETHERTHE DEALER RELEASED THE CONTRACT FROM THE BANK AND NOW THEY WANT TO TRY GETTING ME A LOAN WITH ANOTHER BANK THAT DONT WANT PROVE OF A CAR BEING FIXEDTHEY DONT WANT TO GET MONEY OUT OF THEIR POKETS TO FIXED THE CAR BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT CAR HAS A BIG ISSUEAND OF COURSE IM NOT PAYING A CENT MORE FOR THAT CARITS NOT EVEN WORTH HALF THE PRICE THEY WERE SELLING IT FORIN THE CONTRACT NOW THAT I REVIEWED WITH TIME ITS SAYS THAT THE CAR IS ABOUT 8000+ AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS BUT THEIR JUST KEEPING THE MONEY TO THEMSELVES BECAUSE ON THEIR WEBSITE THE CAR IS LISTED JUST FOR 6000! IM DONE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEMBEFORE I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM, I TOOK THE CAR TO THE [redacted] AND THEY DID A DIAGNOSTIC ON THE CAR AND I HAVE THE RECIEPT AND A DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE CODES THAT CAME ON THE RECEIPTAND THAT ENGINE LIGHT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAS TANKSINCE THEN UNTIL THE CURRENT DATE I HAVE TO STRUGGLE FINDING A WAY TO GET TO WORK AND BACK HOME WITHOUT A CARTHIRD, I DID NOT GET A COPY OF THE CONTRACT FROM THEMI DID MY PART SIGNING EVERYTHING THEY WANTED ME TO SIGN, OF COURSE THEY DID NOT REVIEW ANYTHING WITH METHEY JUST HIGHLIGHTED PART WHERE I NEEDED TO SIGN AND THAT WAS ITSINCE THEY WERE "ON A RUSH" WHEN I WENT TO SIGN THE PAPERS THEY TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO RECEIVE EVERYTHING BY MAIL AND OF COURSE I DID NOT RECEIVE NOTHING FROM THEM UNTIL I GOT MY LAWYER, DETECTIVE [redacted] ***, INVOLVED AND HE HAD TO GO TALK TO THEM AND REQUEST A COPY OF ITEVEN WITH HIM THEY WERE TRYING TO GET ME TO STILL DO BUSINESS WITH THEMBUT THEY TOLD HIM I ONLY HAD TO PAY DOLLARS MORE AND NOT LIKE THEY TOLD ME? It seems like she is making a lots of story to tell and all of the above story is and she is not telling the truth of course She has to say something that is in her favor, but I/we reject all the above long story and this is not what happened And again the vehicle was sold "AS IS" with no warranty and purchases are final and we are not responsible for any damage Or repairs after vehicle is sold.Thanks

when we sold the vehicle it was inspected and did not have any problem in addition it was sold "AS IS " meaning that the dealer is not responsible for any damage or repair and the customer took the car knowing that there was not any warranty, also regarding the muffler it did not have any
race muffler and they are accusing us for taking it off the vehicle that our attorney will take care of that matter for accusation

HiWhen the customer came in she checked the car and liked it and decided to purchase it,but she wanted to come back because she did not Have the entire amount with her so in order to hold the car our policy is to put nonreturnable deposit so we don't offer that vehicle to anybody else ,because
we loos sell as well ,couple of days later she called and said I bought a car from somewhere else and I don't want to buy this car from you,so not only she didn't purchase the vehicle from us but also we were not able to sell that car to anybody else because it was on hold for them , so I think they go to few different places and tell everybody that they are coming back and ask them to hold the vehicle for them and make everybody loose business and not having any other sales,Anyways there is a very big sign in the office hanging on the wall saying that (( deposits are not refundable )) and she and her friend saw it and the aggrement also was that it's not refundable and the agree to it , that's why she signed the receipt otherwise she would not.Thanks

the vehicle in may of 2015,which is almost 10 months ago, without any WARRANTY, she bought the car "AS IS" meaning the dealer is not responsible for any repair or damage after purchase.in addition 10 months is WAY too long to call the dealer and expect them to fix your car when you don't have any sort of warranty.
attached is a copy of "buyers guide " with customer signature showing the vehicle was sold "AS IS" and the dealer is not responsible for any repair.

BEFORE I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM, I TOOK THE CAR TO THE [redacted] AND THEY DID A DIAGNOSTIC ON THE CAR AND I HAVE THE RECIEPT AND A DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE CODES THAT CAME ON THE RECEIPT. AND THAT ENGINE LIGHT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAS TANK. SINCE THEN UNTIL THE CURRENT DATE I HAVE TO STRUGGLE FINDING A WAY TO GET TO WORK AND BACK HOME WITHOUT A CAR. THIRD, I DID NOT GET A COPY OF THE CONTRACT FROM THEM. I DID MY PART SIGNING EVERYTHING THEY WANTED ME TO SIGN, OF COURSE THEY DID NOT REVIEW ANYTHING WITH ME. THEY JUST HIGHLIGHTED PART WHERE I NEEDED TO SIGN AND THAT WAS IT. SINCE THEY WERE "ON A RUSH" WHEN I WENT TO SIGN THE PAPERS THEY TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO RECEIVE EVERYTHING BY MAIL AND OF COURSE I DID NOT RECEIVE NOTHING FROM THEM UNTIL I GOT MY LAWYER, DETECTIVE [redacted],  INVOLVED AND HE HAD TO GO TALK TO THEM AND REQUEST A COPY OF IT. EVEN WITH HIM THEY WERE TRYING TO GET ME TO STILL DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. BUT THEY TOLD HIM I ONLY HAD TO PAY 500 DOLLARS MORE AND NOT 800 LIKE THEY TOLD ME? AND THAT I HAD ONLY A FEW DAYS TO THINK ABOUT IT. AND THAT WAS FROM THE BEGINING TELLING ME I HAD DEADLINES WITH SPECIFIC DATES AND TIMES FOR LIKE SIGNING OTHER PAPERS, CALLING THE BANK, LEAVING ME VOICEMAILS WARNING ME THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE BOTH CARS AND I WAS GOING TO LOOSE THE DEAL. BUT STILL THEY COULD SWITCH THINGS AROUND ON ME WHENEVER THEY FELT LIKE IT. I DID MY PART WITH ALL THEY NEEDED FROM ME, I GAVE THEM MY CAR TITLE AND SIGNED, AND IN RETURN I GOT NO PAPERS FROM THEM OF THEIR CAR BUT THE TEMPOPARY ISSUED LICENCE PLATES. I TRUSTED THEM, AND ME, AS A FIRST TIME BUYER, DID NOT KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS SIGNING A CONTRACT AND GET A COPY OF EVERYTHING I SIGN. THESE GUYS FROM THE BEGINNIG KNEW I WAS A FIRST TIME BUYER AND THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THAT. LASTLY, I DID NOT REFUSE TO BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, I WAS VERY INTERESTED ON THAT FROM THE BEGINNING, BUT SINCE THEY TOLD ME TO JUST GO HOME AND THINK ABOUT IT AND WHICH THE EVEN GAVE ME A BROCHURE TO LOOK AT. LIKE SUPPOSELY THE FIRST MONTH WAS GOING TO BE COVERED BY THE DEALER. THEY TOLD ME THAT I COULD TELL THEM LATER BEFORE THE MONTH WAS OVER WHAT DEAL I LIKE BEST FOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. LIKE I SAID. IM DONE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. IM NOT GOING TO STOP UNTILL I GET MY MONEY BACK. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT DESERVE BEING IN BUSINESS ANYMORE. I AM ONE OF MANY PEOPLE THEY HAVE DONE THE EXACT SAME THING TO. THE REVIEWS SAYS IT ALL. EVEN HERE IN THE Revdex.com WEBSITE THEIR RATING IS AN F FOR THE SAME REASONS. I am rejecting this response because:In the matter of Autoland's response, the paperwork Autoland submitted was not signed until two days after the purchase of the vehicle.  Even if you purchase a vehicle "as is," the seller still has to disclose known defects, and can be liable for fraud or misrepresentation as to the vehicle's condition.   I was informed after my debit card was swiped that the printer wasn't working.  Pejman S[redacted] assured that vehicle was in good working condition and had no mechanical issues.  Pejman also stated if a problem arises they would take care of it and don't worry.  As I stated in my initial report I started encountering problems two days after the purchase of the vehicle.  (Engine Light)  As I said I called and was told to bring the vehicle back to be fixed.  The car was bought back to be fixed and was givn a 24 hour turn around time to pick the vehicle back up.  When I picked up the car the following day the engine light problem seemed to be fixed only for the engine light to return days later.  I popped up at the dealerhip to speak with Pj about the issue again ony to be threatened to leave the property when I demanded the return of my money and to dissolve the purchase and return there vehicle since having the same prolem with the car reappearing again.  I have been anything but nice with the company even after I was disrespected, mistreated, defrauded, lied to and hung up several times.   Pj is trying to avoid the fact that the car was malfunctioning and defective when I brought it and he wants to say that I have to pay him more money in order for the motor and catalytic converter.to be fixed.  The only problem I'm having with that issue is I feel because they never disclosed the underlined mechanical issues on the vehicle, they should take care of the bill themselves.  Since talking to Kat and faxing the information requested from them and seeming we couldn't come to resolution, I asked if I could but my own motor since he stated I had to pay for my own parts and they would cover the labor.  I wanted to buy a motor with 0 to 50,000 miles or less so I could ensure the car would last longer.  Kat said no, I had to pay $2500.00 and they will buy the parts.  I'm not understanding why I can't have the motor I want in my car that I have to additional pay more money for.  I never told them about the rusted oil pain I replace, the front and rear brakes I replaced.  I have spent over $1500.00 in repairs on my own including the car being towed from Delware after the motor failed on the highway.  ($450.00)   This situation has been very stressful to myself and family causing me see to a doctor for severe DEPRESSION and being prescribed medicine to deal with this dealership and the financial bind they have caused.  The emotional distress I have endured dealing with this dealership has been overwelhing.  I just want my car fixed and my family back..  I have lost everything dealing with Autoland.  Thank you in advance

I am writing to you because I have no idea where to begin to handle this issue. On January 17, 2014, I purchased a car from AutoLand in [redacted], Virginia. My employer, [redacted], accompanied me to the closing of the sale to ensure everything was handled correctly and to assist with a down payment as the goal for me was to be a business to business salesperson. In AutoLand’s finance department office, I repeatedly stated I needed ALL taxes, tags, etc. included on the price of the car and rolled into the financed amount. I passionately expressed that I was getting back on my feet, catching up, and couldn’t afford any “back end” costs. I wanted to know everything and take care of everything right then and there. Additionally, the passenger side window of the car was not operational and I was told they would order the piece and it would be fixed within ten business days. We then agreed on all matters and a down payment was issued to them in the amount of $1000 towards the purchase price of $5600.. The day of the sale, Autoland indicated they could not print out my final contract THAT day because of printing issues but would print out and have it ready for pick up or mail to me. I never received via mail and when I came to pick up from the office it was never available. Subsequently they have informed me they do not retain the paperwork and it was forwarded to the finance company.

Fast forward to February 19, 2014. I go to the business to pick up what I believe will be my final tags. I am informed that they cannot locate the paperwork and have no proof that the tags, taxes, etc. were to be included. We argue and they issue another 30 day tag from the DMV. I tell them that my business owner witnessed the transaction and had the same understanding. They tell me there is nothing they can do and see what I can do to resolve it. Additionally, as of February 19, 2014, the regulator motor for the passenger side car window is STILL not available. I continue to call and bug them as often as I can until the end of February and into March.

To date. March 19, 2014 I go to the dealership again as the extended 30 day tags are expired. I argue again that the taxes, tags, etc. were to be included In the finance amount and that was agreed upon by ALL parties. I again request a copy of my contract which they inform me is not available. They tell me there is nothing they can do other than for me to set up a payment plan with them, starting with an initial of 100 per week until paid. Once again, the part for the car door window has still not come in. The taxes and tags were going to be no more than $400.00. This is a very small amount. I would have had no reason NOT to include this in my financed amount. I have purchased several new cars and one used car in my lifetime. I have NEVER had an issue with the tags. I now have a car I cannot use. I do not know what to do. I have since discovered the finance company, New York Finance, shows an owed amount of over 6000. I would like to know how this is possible. These guys are complete criminals. They are thieves. Not only did they increase the price of the car on the financed amount but I believe included the tags, taxes,etc. on the financed amount but then pocketed it and now do not want to resolve the issue.

I lost my daughter in an accident in your town in 2011. She was almost 21. I have been through a lot since then and have just started getting back on my feet. This feels like exploitation at its worst and I’m at a loss for what to do. Please assist me with direction.

The compliance I want from them is my tags and registration issued immediately at the expense of Autoland as promised on the date of purchase. The tags and registration fees were to be included in the financed amount and I believe were. Additionally, the motor for the passenger side front seat window was to be replaced and has not. I want this handled immediately. Thank you.
