This letter is to inform you that Auto Maxx has carried out to my satisfaction the resolution it proposed for my complaint, filed on 2/24/2017 and assigned ID [redacted]
Regards,[redacted]
Regarding the complaint for [redacted], ID#[redacted]. We received a phone call from customer regarding the check engine light and sun roof leak. We told her to take the vehicle to the mechanic shop to address the problems(check engine light) also we took the vehicle to the glass shop and that problem...
was addressed and fixed. We did not hear any further complaints from the customer until this last complaint. As for the transmission issue I told her to take it to the shop and all we can do is to check out the problem to see if it could be something simple, but never told her we would fix it, we would just try to diagnose the problem out of good faith. These vehicles are sold as is and each customer is offered to purchase a service contract warranty which she denied. As for us hanging up on her she would just yell at the top of her lungs at us and not let us get one word in. Again she would scream at us and not calm down so we hung up the phone. We do what we can for our customers but we have no control what the vehicles will do down the road. Again these are sold as is as stated on her contract. Thank YouHave a Merry Christmas[redacted]

I would like to have a loaner vehicle while mine is being repaired if this is not feasible I would like the company's policy to change to include loaners while a vehicle that is under waranty repair it is no fault of the customer if the vehicle breaks down under this waranty and the customer should...
not be inconvenced by not having a mode of transportation which is the main reason customers purchased the vehicle in the first place

Review: I bought a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica from Auto Maxx in [redacted] only 2 days after I bought it the check engine light came on and I informed the dealer. a few days later when it rain the inside of my car was leaking water (raining literally on me as I drove). the dealer stated I should take to his mechanic who temp fixed problem. the dealer did have care serviced due to malfunction in gas tank but shortly afterwards the check engine light back on again and it is still raining in my car. I called last week to inform him that the transmission is going out. Today I was driving on freeway when the RPMs kept raving up to a 6 because the transmission won't shift out of 3rd gear (auto transmission) and when I stop at stop sign car tries to lunch forward due to the the car wanting to go 25 mph at a stop. please help. the dealer just hangs up on me and I still owe 2 years of payments for I have only had car long enough for first payment.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back and loan cancelled or exchanged for car of equal value that runs without having to worry about safety issues.

I do not accept their terms because they are offering me no solution to the problems. Yes I did buy a used car but there is some level of expectation when you are buying a car of $7000.00 that it will be driveable for more than a month- month and a half. the first week I bought the car the check engine light came on and the care leak on the inside (literally raining on me) when it rained and I was givwen no front licence plate. the owner did send the car to [redacted] where they had the car for 11 days to fix the fuel line which I appreciated but 2days later the check engine light came back on. When I attempted to contact the owner he was very rude to me and when I asked him to speak to me with respect for I am the customer he hung up on me. About a month after buying vehicle the transmission started to go out so I am unable to drive more than 3 miles before the transmission warms up and stops working. He never offered to have my car looked at by his mechanic (for transmission) that is a straight up lie. When I contacted him after his reponse to Revdex.com he stated that he was no longer willing to have my car looked at since I went to the Revdex.com with my complaint. Iam not satisfied wiith his reponse or his poor constomerk service.
Review: purchased auto 4-29-2016 2011 [redacted] impala 102k miles. $9000.
was advised that the car was certified. I drove car to Tracy, Ca the next day and my grandfather advised me 2 of the tires were bald he immediately took the car down and had 2 new tires put on and I went back to Redding and advised the dealership that I was told the tires were illegal/unsafe. The dealership was also going to per them take care of the horn and the a/c.. when I took the car in for the a/c and the horn, I advised them of the transmission, he said he would look into it and fix any problems. I dropped the car off for the appt on a/c & horn leaving note about transmission.. I picked up the vehicle and they said everything was fixed even the transmission. Four days after I picked up the vehicle and was advised all was fixed the car died I was advised by tow truck driver and police officer that it "locked up".. so I had it towed to my house. Dale at the dealership said to tow it to [redacted] and we would something out.. that was in May and it has been alot of phone tag and being told that I would have to come up with $1350 to get a rebuilt transmission. Today, 6-16-16 I am being told $1450 for rebuilt. I called and asked for warranty and I was told 90 days, My grandmother called and asked rebuilt / 90 days? he said yes, She asked isnt that a used not rebuilt? he said oh yes.... She asked why was it sold with so many problems not disclosed? he said well you know that it was the kids fault for driving it with there foot on the gas and down shifting? she asked it couldnt be from the 100k miles on the car ?he said as it was fine before I sold it to them...?
I was suggested by attorney to go through Revdex.com and Consumer Affairs as was advised Certified and have no receipt of car being checked...?
This business is costing me as the car has been sitting. I need it for work. I keep getting the run around and being told different things by supposed owner?
Not sure this car should have been sold, I have pictures of tires.Desired Settlement: We have paid $2700 and still owe $8500.
We would like to either get a refund, or walk away with no balance owing and they keep the car and the $2700
Or at the very least, get the car fixed by a certified transmission specialist paid by the auto dealership.

We had agreed after the purchase to repair horn and the air conditioning. The vehicle was taken to [redacted], he advised new rotor and we had agreed to repair what was needed. The transmission was inspected at that time and was in working order on 5-25-16, the date vehicle was in [redacted]. The customer has signed contract with an agreement to purchase "as-is" The customer has called since the repairs were made 5-25-16, with a transmission issue. The vehicle has been towed to [redacted] and [redacted] has confirmed a transmission problem. We did not agreed to pay for the transmission repairs and told them it would be $1450. to have [redacted] repair vehicle. The grandmother (not the registered owner) called me wanting to know information regarding what type of warranty is on the transmission, this information was provided to her. [redacted] had called in and said his grandmother would be calling in to arrange paying for repairs. This is the last time I have contact with [redacted].

Response:
I am rejecting this response because [redacted] & I told [redacted] that the car was still going but the speedometer dropped to zero and I would push on the gas and the engine would rev but not go anywhere and then jolt on the way home. He said don't worry about it that it would be looked at that he was in the process of hiring a mechanic who was also going to be fixing the problems that we were told from the sale they would fix.. the horn, the a/c and then look at the transmission. We made numerous calls and were told they were on vacation, then I got hold of them and was told to bring it in to the Auto Maxx, they had the car for one day and told me everything was fixed.. When the car was picked up, [redacted] asked did you even fix the Transmission as it didn't take very long? I was told by [redacted], everything was fixed.. this was I believe on a Wednesday that I picked up the car and it stalled on Memorial weekend in the intersection and it wouldn't shift not even into neutral to move it. We had the car towed home, then upon the dealership opening we called and they said to have the car towed to [redacted]. The conversation went from the dealership stating they would pay half for a rebuilt transmission ( Even [redacted] at [redacted] advised us of this) then advised us that the price was $1350 then it got raised to $1450. then we find out after asking about the warranty that it is a used transmission.. then when Sarah's grandmother called, [redacted] advised her, well you know why the transmission has a problem right? and she said no why? he said because of the way they were driving it...? they way they pulled out of the parking lot?? this makes no sense.... I realize that the car warranty was "as is" however, we are guilty of believing that when they said they would fix the problems right away and within a few days advising big problem with Transmission, they said they would fix it, we leave it, they say it was fixed then it isn't and then stating where for us to have it towed, and then stating they would pay half for a rebuilt and then it isn't even a rebuilt.. Why all the inconsistencies? We have not had the car since Memorial weekend, we have been given the run around when calling... We paying on a car that we have not had since Memorial weekend.. We are out of pocket for the tows and the car with no car to drive and empty promises from dealership.
Review: On April 13, 2013 my wife and myself purchased a 2010 Hyundai Elantra from auto maxx. Fast forward a year and we had to have the alignment fixed because the tires all wore out really fast and to fix a few other problems the car was having. We recently tried to refinance the car with our local credit union because when we purchased it from Auto Maxx we were new to building credit so the loan we received was for 16.95% APR, our new APR from the credit union would have been 3.5% except for the fact that when the credit union ran our vin # We found out the undisclosed history on our vehicle that auto maxx failed to inform us that the car had been stolen, in an accident and then recovered before they purchased it at auction. Had auto maxx disclosed this information we never would have purchased this vehicle from them.Desired Settlement: The Down Payment of the Car $1300.Plus the difference of what the cars Price Would have been had this information been disclosed $1500.Plus a portion of the finance charge since the car price should have been lower $800.Total Refund $3600

Response:
The complaint regarding [redacted] and the 2010 Hyundai Elantra that they purchased from Auto Maxx was not involved in accident according to car fax. This vehicle at one time was involved in a stolen recovery. According to Car Fax information there may have been scratches and or lite dings but there is no accident on Car Fax. This is actually a very clean car fax. We're sorry that some banks and or credit unions are very strict about incident reports. If we were liable or responsible we would take care of this matter but we feel we are not liable for this complaint.
Review: AutoMaxx sold me a vehicle with the knowledge that many major repairs were needed in order for the car to be safe to drive.
s) went in to resign the paperwork and give him more money for this POS car only because I desperately needed a vehicle due to the fact that my husband works out of town and I had no other means of transportation. So in Auguest we had forked out 2450.00 for this car. [redacted] lowered the price of the car to 11,398.26 only because the bank wouldn't finance a higher amount.
I purchased an 04 Dodge Durango slt from AutoMaxx in July 2013. We test drove the vehicle and did notice some vibrations in the steering wheel and raised our concerns to the dealer. They assured us that the vehicle was safe to drive. After taking the car home my husband noticed that there were two different sized tires on the AWD vehicle which was throwing off the sensors and causing major vibrations. He also found that the driver side front axle was damaged. The dealership did assist with those repairs but we still had to pay for half the tires and the car was still not driving properly. After taking it to [redacted] they informed me that the passenger side front axle was also badly damaged the lower ball joints were bad and my front drive line needed to be replaced and the entire underside of the car is rusted out. So obviously this car was water logged and the rust had caused some major damage. We've had to pay over $1000 in repairs in the last two months! The dealership had knowledge of the damage because they put new catalytic converters on the vehicle so it would pass smog. That means a technician had seen the underside of the vehicle and could and should have made the dealership aware of the other major repairs needed. The dealership simply did the bare minimum and chose to put the vehicle on the lot to sell.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for half of the repairs.

Initial Business Response
When we sold this vehicle to the [redacted] the customers were aware of the rust and he husband stated he was not concerned about any rust and just wanted the vehicle. It only has 60,000 miles on it. We did replace the drivers front axle, the boot was torn only, very common. They complained that the tires were two different sizes so I offered if they wanted to split the cost on four brand new tires and they gladly accepted. I also gave the customers a $1576.74 discount off the original purchase price. The customers at this time was very satisfied and thanked us. We have gone out of our way and can not understand why she is filling this complaint at all.
Final Consumer Response
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My main goal with this complaint is to prevent other consumers from making the same mistake I did by buying a used vehicle from AutoMaxx without having a detailed inspection done before the purchase. I would not have bought the vehicle had I known the numerous repairs needed on the car and the backhanded business practices that [redacted] uses with his customers.
On July 12, 2013 we signed the paperwork to purchase the 04 Dodge Durango for 12,995.00 and we were told that we had to put down 1500.00. A month later we still had not received any paperwork from a finance company and the car was literally falling apart! I had called several times wanting to know when we would hear from the finance company because I wasn't about to make any repairs on a vehicle I wasn't sure I even owned! He said that he was having some issues getting us financed with the original contract, and we had to give him $700.00 more dollars in order to get the car financed and resign all the paperwork. At that time, I told him the car was driving terribly, and after taking it to [redacted] they found that it had two different sized tires which was part of the reason for the vibrations in the steering. He agreed to split the cost of the tires and our portion was 250.00. Keep in mind he put the cheapest brand of tires on the car. So on August 24, 2013 we (like i
As far as repairs go, after bringing the car home in July my husband was able to briefly look under the vehicle and found the driver side axle was damaged. We called AutoMaxx and they agreed to fix it. In the original contract they had also agreed to fix the driver side door handle which they broke during the test drive and replace the windshield which has a huge scratch across it and ozone the cabin due to the awful smoke smell inside. They fixed the axle and replaced the door handle which does not match the other door handles. The other two repairs were not completed. After getting the tires put on, the car was still not driving properly and it was making a terrible noise every time I drove it. Took it to [redacted] again and they told me the drive shaft was bad because it was a rusty junk yard part and the passenger side axle needed to be replaced. I have two invoices from those repairs totaling 552.55. So now we have forked out 3002.55 since July and the car still isn't driving properly, the check engine light has come on and its not safe to drive at night because the lights flicker on and off probably due to some faulty wiring.
All in all this has been the worst car buying experience of my life! [redacted] makes it seem like he bent over backwards to give us some great deal, but over 3000 dollars later I don't think that is the case. Please if you are reading this complaint do yourself a favor and do not do business with AutoMaxx. You will most likely regret it! [redacted] is a true con man out to line his pockets and nothing else. He sells sub par vehicles that he purchases from online auctions. Buyers Beware!
Final Business Response
I feel this has be blown way out of proportion, my response has not change from my reply from the original complaint.
Review: On April 28th, 2013 my step dad [redacted] had gone to Auto Maxx of Redding, California and had signed a contract to purchase a 2009 KIA Rondo and the original agreement was that they were going to allow us to make payments on the down payment which in total it was $650. On Monday, April 29th 2013, my Mother had taken my old car to Pick and Pull of Redding California and sold it to them in order to have part of the down payment. She sold it for $350 and then on Tuesday, April 30th had taken in the $350 to auto maxx for the down payment and also on Thursday May 23, 2013 I had taken in $150 towards the remainder of the down payment. The monthly payment was going to be $231 a month and we have copies of all the original agreements. They allowed my step dad to drive off the lot with the KIA Rondo without telling us that the loan had been approved. My step dad was under the impression that the loan was in fact approved because we had no idea that they would allow us to take the car off of the lot without the approval of a loan. About ten days later, a salesman named [redacted] called stating that they did not get approved for the loan through them in which in their advertisement it had stated guaranteed approval for everybody, and they had then decided that they were going to try and get a loan through Wells Fargo which in the end did no go through because of so many credit inquires. Shortly thereafter they had been denied and [redacted] had then contacted me telling me what was going on, and had stated that I had to go down to Auto Maxx as soon as possible to get the process started in which my step dad would have to co-sign for me for the vehicle.
On Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 11:00am, I had went down to Auto Maxx and they had then told me that they had raised the down payment to $1000 and the monthly payment on the vehicle was going to be $367 a month. They had known exactly what I had to work with, on Saturday May 25th, 2013 my step father and I had went down to Auto Maxx to sign everything, when we had got there we had to wait a half hour for the loan adviser to get there. [redacted] had then stated that we would just start everything all over and he had stated to my step dad that he would have everything ready and it would take all of 15 minutes in which it did not. So then he had taken in the loan application to his boss [redacted], when he had returned he had a paper stating that the down payment had then yet again went up to $1200 and the monthly payment was going to be $337 a month. My step dad had then stated that was not the agreement he was told from day one. At the beginning of the process I had told [redacted] that I was only able to afford so much a month and he had stated that was not a problem and the original price that he quoted me was perfect for my situation otherwise I would not have made initial agreement. The car was returned the same day we applied for the loan with [redacted] as the cosigner, now I am without my old car and my deposit.

I want to see that I get the total amount of deposit which was $500 and the full tank of gas that was in the car which cost me $60 back because now I'm out of a car and have to find rides back and forth to work everyday which is not easy. I sold my car after I had the keys in hand of the KIA Rondo and I am now without any transportation and I have 2 small children that I take care of 100% of the time. This company has affected my entire family.

Business' Initial Response
On April 28, 2013 [redacted] and her stepfather [redacted] came into Auto Maxx together. [redacted] was the one looking for a vehicle and picked out a 2009 Kia Rondo. They had sat down with the sales associate and discussed down payments and monthly payments. She had only a small amount of down payment to work with and by herself she would be required to have quite a bit more down because of her credit issues. So [redacted] told the sales rep. [redacted] that he would put the loan in his name. This way they would not have to come up with more down payments. He told us he was pre-approved with his bank Wells Fargo so we agreed at these terms and sold him the vehicle. He stated he would go directly to his bank and get the loan secured. This never happened. After several phone calls over a 3 week period he finally went to Wells Fargo where he said he was pre-approved and was denied.
We called again and he finally stated that they would not finance him. We told him and [redacted] to come in together so we could figure out what we could do for them. They sat down and we gave them new figures with the banks that we use and they required more down payment and shorter terms. We were able to get them approved. [redacted] the stepfather simply changed his mind and said we no longer want the vehicle and I will not sign. We could have gotten [redacted] approved by herself but [redacted] stormed out and said no.
We inspected the vehicle and realized they had driven over 1,800 miles. They also drove the vehicle about 28 days, the vehicle needed a full detail and needed to be re-safety. Most dealers can charge for usage at $40 per day which comes up to $1120.00 also .40 cent per mile which comes to $720.00, full detail $80.00 plus. We are not trying to enforce these penalties. We feel and hope you can see our side that we did not return the $500.00. Also them having this vehicle for almost one month and the excessive miles that were put on our vehicle we took quite a hit on the blue book changes. We still would offer [redacted] to purchase a vehicle from us on her own and would credit her the $500.00 towards another vehicle purchase. We have never occurred any problems like this ever and hope this can be resolved as we are not the bad guys here.
Consumer's Final Response
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On April 28th I was not at Auto Maxx I was in fact at work. My step dad had went there to see about cosigning for me and also to look at the vehicles. [redacted] had stated to me that he was the one who picked out the vehicle in which my step dad had agreed upon. Originally [redacted] had tried to get a loan through auto Maxx which he was turned down for but in their advertisement its says guaranteed credit approval for everybody. After about ten days he had received a phone call stating that he had been denied for the loan with auto maxx, at then he said he would go down to wells Fargo and see about his pre approval he had then found out that because his credit had been ran many times that he had been denied for the loan. [redacted] indeed did go down to wells Fargo on May 18th. I do not understand how they could allow somebody to drive off the lot with not knowing if the loan had been approved or not. To Jeffs knowledge he had been approved for the loan simply for the fact that they had allowed him to take it off the lot. Also To my knowledge if I had a cosigner I would not have to have more down nor more for the monthly payment to my understanding that was only if I had did the loan without a cosigner. [redacted] had known from the start of all this that I was unable to afford $1200 for a down payment let alone $367 for the monthly payment. On May 27th two days after I had returned the vehicle I had visited auto maxx website and seen that the KIA was up for sale for more than what they were trying to sell it to me for. I also have a copy of that. I do not see how the vehicle lost any value. I do not want any problems either but I feel as if I was taken advantage of, that's why I am still requesting the $500 back. We have the original contract. [redacted] had changed his mind and would not sign simply for the fact that was not the original agreement.
Business' Final Response
Company states that their original response stands. They will be doing nothing further for this consumer.
Review: I,[redacted].S, made by a downpayment of $1,800.00 on April 17, 2014 to claimed owner,[redacted] of Auto Maxx in Redding CA. for a Chevorlet HHR Sports Ultility 2007. Within two days it blew the motor while on my way to work. I had the automobile pulled to the dealership as soon as problems surfaced and couldn't get a hold of his machanic. Since he garanteed that if any problems surfaced, that it would get taken care of. The Owner [redacted], would not return my calls within the few days I had been waiting. Growing tired, I went in to see him and His secretary said "He was too busy with other customers, selling cars." When finally getting through to [redacted], he was very rude and did not want to return my money. Instead, he accused me of sabotaging the vehicle. And it's almost two weeks later, I am stuck without a working car. I lost three days of work.I feel that the Auto Max Dealership owner [redacted] Maxx is a fraud and yes indeed they are a professional of finances - taking peolples hard working money. The point is that he lied that the vehicle was guaranteed and in excellent condition. So all in all, my consern is that he sold me a lemon and stole my money and takes advantage of people with no credit/ bad credit. know they cannot go to another dealership but him. Review: B.B.B
Hi my name is [redacted], and I’d like to make an complaint about a car dealer/owner of Auto Max. His name is [redacted] and he owns the car dealer shop on the c[redacted] sold my boyfriend and I a used vehicle of his estimate of what the he thinks the vehicle worth on paper, in which I didn’t know until after I had purchase it. [redacted] at the same time had an employee who was fired for a different reason, during our purchase. The employee at the time took our $3,000 down payment and filed the paperwork for our vehicle. Then within 2 weeks his employee called us saying that our paperwork didn’t go through and we don’t make enough money. Then his employee said that they will repo the vehicle in 48hrs if we didn’t have a co-signer and they’ll use our down payment to pay for the vehicle as a rental car! So, I rushed down their with my mom Joanie and have be the co-signer of the vehicle, before we know what it was worth.
It all started the first six hours at purchasing the vehicle. Our tire that they just replaced that was brand new with a warranty goes out on the freeway/highway on our way home. When we went to put our spare tire on their was no jack nor tools to lower our tire. We called [redacted] to see if he can call his guy to repair the tire where we got it from at [redacted] where the owner there refused to give us a new one and if you’d like to hear about that they have a complaint on them with B.A.R [redacted] and his employee both promise my mother and I that everything will be fixed that was damaged with the vehicle. Within a week of that promise the fuel filter went out, so [redacted] sent us to “his mechanic”. Which informed my mother and I that my cadallic concerts were plugged to pass smog and that they are about to go out. So then, we looked into it by [redacted]. We found the vehicle from $5300-$5900 in fair condition. [redacted] sold us the vehicle for $10900 without a warrenty. When we went to his office to reason with him, he showed us a report if what he charged us for by starting with the miles. At 123,000 when I purchased the vehicle it was at 125054 miles. Also [redacted] charged us for a custom bumper which isn’t on the vehicle. When we asked [redacted] about the cadalic converts being plugged to pass smog. [redacted] then called “his mechanic” who repeated exactly what he told us to him, [redacted] then got upset hung up the phone. Called us “Liers” and told us “if we have a problem, why don’t we fix it ourselves.”
[redacted] has blown us off everytime I’ve called him. [redacted] has hid from us, but telling his employee to say he’s not there, when he is. We even showed up and he was there. [redacted] cusses at us, tells us “to get out of his office,” and “the vehicle is our problem, cause he doesn’t know what we are doing to it.”
This is all happened within the 30 day purchasing the vehicle. [redacted] has promised to fix
-clip around the ignition
-fix the horn
-fix the windshield wipes
-check the transmission cause the car has no power
-detail the vehicle inside and out
And [redacted] hasn’t done any of these repairs. [redacted] mechanic told us “that this vehicle is a piece of [redacted] and [redacted] is overpricing us.”

Response:
The vehicle is sold as is. We never told the customer that we would not fix the little items which accurad after the purchase except a tear in the seat and a cleaning detail. The horn worked at purchased and stopped working after which I ordered another horn for them just waiting for them to come in for repair. They called us about the news tires I had gotten for them and told me that one of the tires had blown out. So I sent them in to the tire shop and paid for another one of our pocket because they would not warranty the tire because of the way it was damaged, also the vehicle would not pass smog with bad cadillist converters I’m not sure what the complaint is about. The complaint they have written is blown out of portion. Regarding the retail price they are coming up with is absolutely incorrect and I showed them the correct retail price besides that after 2 months of driving it and putting over 3000 miles on the vehicle they seem to have a transmission issue. Again this vehicle is sold as is. But I offered to help with the repair of another transmission issue out of good faith and customer agreed and is dismissing this complaint. Things happen but we are taking care of the problem out of good faith including the horn issue, detail, clip around the ignition and whatever the windshield wiper issue is.Again they agreed to withdraw this complaint in full after we fix these issues.
Review: When the car was leased on 5/17/2014, we advised the car dealership that the rear middle seatbelt was cut in half. They promised to repair it, however it has not been repaired as of yet and we are always getting the run around as to where the seatbelt is or when they will receive it. We are a family of five. Myself, my wife and three children. We still continue to use our old car if we want to go out as a family because of the seatbelt issue.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to order the seatbelt and have it delivered to my home address, then I will repair it myself or take it to my personal car repair man.
Review: I purchased a vechicle from this business on Wednesday June 25,2014. I haven't even had the car for 7 days and already has a transmission issue. The car was purchased for 56465 in cash. No payments. I was very happy with the car when I bought it and the following days after I had it until Sunday june 29th when it began not shifting over 3rd gear (this is an automatic transmission). I have called them and set up an appointment to have the issue looked at although I am going to be charged for what needs to be fixed and I don't feel like I should have to pay for the issue. I feel like they should be responsible for paying for the repair or giving me my$ 51465 dollars back,Desired Settlement: I feel they should have to pay 100% of the repairs or give me my money back for a full refund totaling $51465. $5100 for the total amount of cash spent and 465$ for my trade in veichle that was sent to the junk yard the following day
Review: On Monday, November 3RD, 2014, I was shopping for a car, and was pressured into leaving a $510.00 deposit on my credit card. I was also assured that the car was in perfect mechanical working order, with very low mileage. On Friday, November 7th, 2014, I tried to cancel this purchase, as the garage I had lined up to store this vehicle was no longer available. I was told by the salesman that I had lost my deposit, because "that's part of the deal", even though it had only been four days since leaving the deposit, and Tuesday, November 4th 2014 was a federal holiday. I also learned from a Chevrolet Corvette dealership, that the condition that I described to him regarding the clutch on the car, indicated that the clutch was badly worn and would need to be replaced very soon.I was lied to about the condition of the sale, and of the car. I am requesting a full refund of my $510.00.Respectfully[redacted]Desired Settlement: A full refund of my $510.00 deposit.
Review: I purchased a car in beginning of March 2013. By March 29th 2013 the car was unable to be driven due to the center support bearing popping. I emailed to let the dealership know what has happened with the car. I was finally able to locate the part and get the car fixed by June 2013. In July I notice my AC did not work went under the hood again to find hoses duck taped so that they would not be seen or fall to be seen. The car then began to smoke July 4 which we thought was a small radiator leak, tried to seal it with radiator solution, by July 25th the entire car fell apart. Took it to a mechanic who said the car should not have been sold as it was dry rotted and had a blown head gasket. I am now out of $2500+ dollars and was only able to drive the car a couple of weeks.Desired Settlement: I request a complete refund. I feel that I was swindled out of my money. They told me that my car was inspected and if it was they would have known about the rotted radiator the blown head gasket etc. they acted as if they were honest and swindled a single mother of 2 out of hard earned money I want my money back.
Review: Auto maxx has blatantly dusregaurded the contact that I signed. They have repossessed my vehicle because my insurance being canceled and when I told them that I can reactivate my insurance they would not give my vehicle back to me. I do not understand why I am being treated like this and want something done about this. I need my vehicle back so I can work and go to school.Desired Settlement: I would like to have either my vehicle or ask of my payments refunded back to me so that all of the money I have invested in this car is not a waste. I payer ask of my payments on time and did not arbitrate this agreement.
Review: We purchased a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am with 104,064 miles on it from AutoMaxx on June 30, 2014. We were given a 30 day or 1,000 mile 100% warranty on the vehicle. On July 14, 2014 the vehicle would not start. The mileage was 105,002. Called AutoMaxx and had the vehicle towed to them under our insurance. When we got there we were told that they would run test and find out the problem as soon as they mechanic came back from break (They went on break as we arrived there). They said it would take about 2 hours. We asked if they had a rental beings we had work and things to go do. They informed us that they do not have rentals we would just have to wait or find a ride home. After they ran test they said nothing was wrong. They got the car to start and sent us home. Today July 16, 2014 the same thing happened, the car wont start. We again called AutoMaxx and they told us we need to tow it to a different place under our insurance so they can run diagnostics on it. Asked about a rental and were again told us that they do not provide rentals. We informed them we have stuff to take care of at 5' o'clock and its 1' o'clock now. They still insist that we tow it and refuse to give us another vehicle to use while they work on ours. The reason we purchased a different vehicle was for dependance and gas mileage.Desired Settlement: Provide rentals for customers whose vehicles need repair under warranty or a form and notice that they do not provide rentals.

I would like to have a loaner vehicle while mine is being repaired if this is not feasible I would like the company's policy to change to include loaners while a vehicle that is under waranty repair it is no fault of the customer if the vehicle breaks down under this waranty and the customer should not be inconvenced by not having a mode of transportation which is the main reason customers purchased the vehicle in the first place
