Date: 2/24/I would like to address the above referenced complaint, [redacted] is calling and stopping by one of our locations which has recently closedAutoNow can be reached for payments at [redacted] , and our physical address regarding the specific program which [redacted] is a customer is in now [redacted] Wilkes Barre Pa, ***We have tried to contact [redacted] on the phone number she provided to us which is ###-###-####, however it continually goes to voicemailWe apologize for the confusion and will continue to attempt to contact herWe would also appreciate if you can forward this information on to her as well

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I may have signed that agreement they are talking about, but I called after driving the car off lot and was told it just needed to be drivenWell it broke down the very next day, they wouldn't get a tow truck I had to get one to take the car to the lot after being told by their salesman that he was working on it and NEVER heard back from himI had to call him to get told they couldn't get a tow truckI took the car to their shop to get it fixed and when they gave me the car back it had the same exact problem it had when I took it to their shopThe salesman stated that I could just bring the car back and he would give me my $dollars backHe even stated this to my husband on another occasionWhen I did bring the car back I was giving a lot grief and was told I couldn't get a refundI made several attempts to speak with the owner of the company and the Sales manager and left messages with sales manger and NEVER received a call backI was told the owner doesn't deal with things like thisThey are a very shady company that tells you one thing and does anotherI will be filing a complaint with my state agency as well Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern;As we responded to [redacted] claim id [redacted] , we are willing to help her ,She needs to follow standard procedure and call our [redacted] location to schedule an appointment to have the car looked atWe are dealing with used vehicles and cannot foresee any mechanical malfunctions if any, after the sale of the vehicle that is why we suggest customers to purchase warranties .But if she gets an appointment and brings the vehicle in we can try and come to a resolution.Respectfully,

I’ve been living at this facility since January and have not had any air every time they come and fix it it’s a new problem or they just can’t get to me right now lately my son has been having real bad asthma attacks at night and I keep calling them about the air and they keep saying they fixing it and they have not! I put in another complaint yet again and she said the work order was complete when it wasn’t she didn’t realize I check my email until I called her and made a complaint about her completing a work order that wasn’t complete that was my last straw I need some help I need to leave II haven’t missed any rent or bills but this month I just can’t afford to stay here anymore and keep my son’s health up to partI work too hard and pay too much money to live here under these conditions it’s not fair to me or my child

We have called countless times about our air and each time we are told someone is on the way but they never make it We have been without AC for two weeks and it’s been above and beyond hot outside and especially inside out home My fiancé suffers from severe asthma and it’s been a extreme health risk for her to be here in this heat , she has already passed out once and has had two nose bleeds It would be smart to go somewhere else but there is nowhere else to go , this is our home and I feel as though our complaints have not been heard and addressed This is not the first time we’ve called them to fix problems and they’ve completely ignored us about it Though this is the first time that it’s been related to someone’s health being in jeopardy and that’s when I decided to take bigger actions

I am rejecting this response because:I was contacted by auto now the Wilkes barre office and the same problem remains They are still not helping me any with this vehicle.This is a very unfortunate situation because I work very hard for my money and have been completely taken advantage of by this companyHowever,after speaking with joe at the Wilkes barre office it is clear they have no intention of helping me.I explained all problems with the vehicle some of which he accused me of the clutch burning out is just one of them.I am very upset at the fact that they cotinuosly try to insult my intelligenceLike auto now I also have proof of the radiator and believe me it is not new and now it is two mechanics that can verify this and proof of many other problems.When I spilt to joe he stated to me that it was not illegal to tape and paint a hose,however when the dummies that painted it used flammable paint and the tape was melted sitting next to highly flammable break fluid the vehicle could have caught fire and with out being able to stop.also I called joe back and left him a voice mail to see if he had found someone to take the warranty which he did not call me back like he said he would.Im sorry but just for that hose alone and the comment he made in regards to it is really poor business practice.As far as the clutch goes as stated from mechanic number two the clutch has something really wrong with it and it is not operator failure like auto now has stated but it is going to cost just for the tear down and it is not covered under the warrant.I am also still driving a rental which is costing me a lot of moneyAuto now also believes and has stated to me that The car is worth dollars.so if this is the case I guess they would have no problems taking it back??This is truly a case of fraud and deceptive practice.Oh before I forget I was wondering if Chris was now fully trained on how to be a fraudulent car sales repBecause I still never heard back from him.For a moment I thought auto now was on the right track of training their staff to be good,honest , and hard working

We placed our Rent check in the rent box on Febthe last day before late feesWe placed it in the box because we were both at work late that day and did not have the money until that dayThe money was taken out of our account and the bank said that the check was cashedWe called the apartments several times to work something out and the only thing they could say is "we don't have cameras outside or inside so we can't see if someone took it"

To whom it may concern;In regards to *** *** complaint of ***, *** bought a vehicle as-is, and signed a buyer's guide stating this, as well as a vehicle condition report at the time of her purchaseHer vehicle was sent to an outside service garage where it was inspected for
safety and emissions in which it passed all regulations according to the lawShe also put an additional miles on the vehicle before she brought it back to the service garage to look at whatever problems she thought she was having, one of which happened to be a tire pressure sensorI spoke to *** today and offered her several solutions one of which was to bring the vehicle to our repair facility in Scranton to see if we can have any repairs done under her month warrantyWe are willing to help *** in any way we possibly canThank you for your concern in this matter.Respectfullyautonow

This place is a joke they sell cars that are not even inspected for the roadI went to go get it inspected and it would not even pass what a joke would never buy a car there agin try to call them they don't even pick up the phone

This customer purchased a vehicle fron our dealership on 2/8/2015that effectively 13 months ago, this is a used vehicle sold "AS IS, WHERE IS"THERE WAS NO WARRANTY STATED OR IMPLIED. Our record show that they signed an federal buyers guide as is where is. At the time of sale the vehicle was...

inspected. The complaint alledging ball joints, hedlights and a gas tank strap are all items that are wearable and from time to time in the course of vehicle operation need to be replaced WHICH IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER not AutoNow. We never heard from this customer after the sale only now when its time to inspect his vehicle again. Enclosed is a signed Statement from the garage that worked on this car verifying all items were fine at the time of sale,

I am rejecting this response because: I have received the response from auto now. First let me stress that what they responded to is a LIE. The first person I purchased the vehicle from name was [redacted] and he was the individual who said it would be fixed. Secondly I did not bring the truck back to be fixed after I put 500 miles on the car as this other individual claims. I didn't want to take the car after I gave my money [redacted] told me I couldn't leave it there to bring it back and he will take care of it. It brought the truck back three times and got no results, so I took it to **s auto myself and they called [redacted] and he said he's not fixing it. Then Like I said I took a 3 hour ride and the car started smoking on the highway. So I made it home and went back to Auto now that's when I met this other individual. And he said you put 500 miles on the truck. What does that have to do with fixing what his sales man said. I've been bringing this piece of crap back from day one. Then he said u brought a used car. a customer is in now [redacted] Wilkes Barre Pa, [redacted]. We have tried to contact [redacted] on the phone number she provided to us which is ###-###-####, however it continually goes to voicemail. [redacted] did purchase a car from us, this vehicle was purchased in an "AS IS" contractual agreement with coverage limited to an outside warranty. We contacted [redacted] to help her get with her vehicle.1. She accused us of using stop leak in her radiator which is completely...

false we replaced her radiator and have bills to prove it2. She said tape was on an Intake air manifold this was not done by us and further she said it was disguised by paint, we received the car as such and are willing to replace in our garage the tube for free however it does not violate Pennsylvania inspection rules nor is it a cause of hazard to the occupants since its simply an air valve.3.She said her clutch is burned out again we put a brand new clutch into the vehicle before it left, [redacted] herself admits she isn't the best at driving a stick and several witnesses said they seen her have a difficult time leaving the parking lot4. Engine difficulties if in fact she has a problem with her engine it is recent, she signed a vehicle condition report which we have copies of stating that the car was in good running condition at the time of purchase, that being said it's been 4 months and we will have to pull out the files to get the paper work but will if need be. However if she allows us to call the warranty company for an engine problem we can deal with them much easier as we have a standing rapport with them but we cannot without [redacted] cooperation , she can get the work done at any garage that accepts warranties but acceptance or denial of a claim is not reflective of us. This is also clearly stated in our contract.5.This vehicle is a 08 [redacted] it retails on [redacted] for 8250$ so at 6735$ amount financed she actually purchased the vehicle under the retail which considering all circumstances with financing for her this was an excellent deal.In Closing we will replace the hose at no cost and help her with her warranty call in to get her back up and running. We are doing our best to accommodate her and with her cooperation I'm sure we can please her as a customer if given a chance. We're willing to do so despite the car being bought "As Is" with her coverage limited to the outside warranty.Thank You,
