Auto Rescue of Fairfax

This is the worst experience I've had. Erie Insurance Company contracts AGERO to do roadside assistance. We had a flat tire, and AGERO routed our request to Auto Rescue of Fairfax. We got a call from AGERO saying the service person will arrive in an hour. After 1.5 hours of waiting, we called Auto Rescue of Fairfax and they put us on hold for another 30 minutes, only to come out and tell us they cannot serve us. What a waste of time. If you can, NEVER do business with this company. It's a disaster!

I waited at least almost 3 hours just to keep getting my request cancelled. Major inconvenience and never again!

They never showed up! Had me waited 4hours. I called 3 different times! Got the same answers with the ETA! I'm f[censored] heated! This company needs to be shut down because it seem like they haven't helped anyone thus far! I need to know whos in charge.

They never showed up, as scheduled by my insurance company! I kept getting multiple texts, with different ETA... I finally had to call my insurance company, after waiting for an hour and asked for a different contractor.
Dan, with Blair’s Towing & Recovery Inc., came immediately, provided assistance and I was on my way home!
As I got home, a received a call from ARS (3 hours later... ) at the wrong address, offering assistance! Totally unreliable!

On 10/25/2020, on my way to a new job.
My 1st day - flat tire and things went downhill from there after my insurance company sent Auto Rescue of Fairfax LLC Employee Zuber, unprofessional, inexperience, and absolutely a waste of time. He drove up and the 1st thing out his mouth was "why didn't you answer your phone" and things went down hill from there. I cleared out my entire trunk with no assistance from Zuber who by the way told me after I asked if he knew what he was doing because he had me looking for everything needed to change a flat and in his words...it's my truck I should know where stuff is. After dumping everything from my trunk on the ground and finding what I thought was needed to change my flat, Zuber told me the tool I had did not fit for him to get to the spare tire and therefore he got back in his van and told me that I needed a tow truck and left me there stranded in the dark, putting the stuff back in my trunk while he pulled off. Needless to say, he absolutely did not know what he was doing. A tow truck driver came and immediately pointed to the location where the tool I did definitely have to open and retrieve my spare and apologized profusely because of my previous experience with Zuber and said he's the experienced and professional and should have known exactly where and how to retrieve the spare. Zuber pointed to a location where he told me the tool did not fit and was totally clueless and inexperienced, and not to mention totally wrong. I can be reached at 202-841-8258 to further discuss this matter. I'm also reaching out to All-State to discuss how disappointed I was with Auto Rescue of Fairfax LLC Employee Zuber. I was literally in tears, felt abandoned, stranded and left in the dark to fend for myself. Shame on Zuber! I didn't want to give 1 start but the review would not post otherwise.

I wish I looked up reviews prior to wasting 2 hours waiting on them to come. They will not answer the phone if you call and they will not answer if the insurance calls either so, cancel them immediately if you’re assigned their service. Don’t know why they are still in business...

CANCEL IMMEDIATELY IF YOUR INSURANCE SENDS YOU THIS COMPANY. Absolutely horrible company. My insurance sent me Fairfax Auto Rescue to change my tire when it blew out on the road. The estimated wait time was one hour. It took this guy TWO hours to arrive. When he got to me, he took one look at the extra tire at my jeep and claimed that because of some small cracks in the tire that he couldn't put the emergency tire on. I tried to explain I was about to drive straight to the tire shop to buy new tires and he just yelled at me "talk to your insurance!" then got into his car and sped. I called my insurance for a tow truck assuming the Fairfax rescue was right about my tire. The tow truck driver arrived in 20 minutes and told me my tire was totally fine to drive on. He changed out my tire in less than 5 minutes and I got to the tire shop without a problem. Fairfax auto rescue is horrible, rude, unprofessional, and ruthless company. If your insurance sends you this company, call back and cancel immediately!

The worst experience I have every had. They were just suppose be here in under and hour. We are the three hour mark and they keep adding time.

I am very pleased with my service. I had locked my keys in my car with the car running. I contacted my insurance roadside assistance and was told I would have help within an hour. Auto Rescue showed up within 30 minutes and he was very polite kind and courteous. He had my car unlocked within minutes! Thank you so much for your quick service in a very stressful situation!

Do not use this service! If I could have rated them zero stars I would! They’re Totally unprofessional! The driver was suppose to be here almost 2 hours ago and every time I call they say 25 mins until his arrival. I just called and got an arrival time of 30 mins after calling in a 4th time. Communication and time management is clearly off between the call center and the drivers. Now going into another hour of waiting!

If you ever see "Auto Rescue of Fairfax" cancel IMMEDIATELYThis is the most unprofessional company in the state of VirginiaThe driver was not only minutes late, but he is was unable to comprehend how to get to the complex where the vehicle was locatedOnce he arrived, he mentioned he was going to do a U-turn and decided to leave instead without informing us or providing any serviceI have filed a customer complaint with my insurance as well Auto Rescue of FairfaxThe ratings are low for a reasonKeep Away!!

it was great that I had roadside assistance on my policy that allowed me to call in and have someone come out and retrieve the spare tire from the under chassis double blind puzzleBUT It would have been even BETTER if he knew how to tighten the lug-nuts properlyAfter two days on the wheel, (short, mile mixed hwy commute), I couldn't shake the idea that there was something wrong There was just enough vibration for me to feel it when I approached the hwy speedGot about or so miles away from the office and felt compelled to pull over and investigateFound two of the lug-nuts to be FINGER RESISTANCE LOOSE!
Pulled out my lug wrench and went about tightening all the lug-nuts the proper way and got more than one full turn on all of them before I was finished

My insurance company dispatched this company to assist me in a road side assistance on a very dangerous freeway and I waited over hrs in degree weather for them to cancel And to make matters worse the person who wad supposed to respond to my roadside assistance had me walk half a mile to take a picture of a sign to tell him where I was when the insurance company and I cleary explained to him where I had broke downWorse company qnd customer service ever

On May 23rd, my insurance company called them for a lock out around 1120pmThe guy that was coming called and said he was minutes awayThose minutes plus some passed and I didn't hear from him, so I called himHe informed me that his service truck broke down and that his dispatch would call meThey never called!! My insurance company called them and they said my number wasn't in their notes but when it was pointed out to them, they quickly said they called meThis company is a FRAUD and SCAM!! What should have taken minutes to complete has turned into a hour ordeal, with another tow company being called

Just as we were about to drive to my son's new college VCU in Richmond we realized we had a flat tireWe were unable to remove it so we called our insurance company and they sent Auto RescueWHAT A JOY!!! This company kept in touch with us via cell phone to let us know when they would arrive (it was 4am) AND when the technician arrived he was amazingI wish I could mention him personally because of his professionalism and kindnessBUT we live in Arlington VA and he drove a pretty nice US carThanks SO MUCH to you for your efforts on our behalfYou are a great company if you employ such great people

I needed a jump in the parking lot of a businessI contacted my insurance and they dispatched Auto Rescue of FairfaxThe driver gave me a call and ETA promptly, and arrived in under minutesHe had my car back up and running very quickly and am very happy with the service I was provided
