Auto Rescue of Fairfax Reviews (33)

Absolutely the bestVery timely, prompt, courteous, and very professional

I had flat on Christmas Eve on my way to a partyFord Roadside assistance sent Auto RescueHe called, confirmed my location and arrive in minutesHe said he parked near the Metro figuring it gave him easy access to different part of Alexandria, Old TownHe switched out to my spare quickly, and most importantly, told me where I could get it repaired that nightI was able to get my tire replaced and made my party

Just as we were about to drive to my son's new college VCU in Richmond we realized we had a flat tireWe were unable to remove it so we called our insurance company and they sent Auto RescueWHAT A JOY!!! This company kept in touch with us via cell phone to let us know when they would arrive (it was 4am) AND when the technician arrived he was amazingI wish I could mention him personally because of his professionalism and kindnessBUT we live in Arlington VA and he drove a pretty nice US carThanks SO MUCH to you for your efforts on our behalfYou are a great company if you employ such great people

Purchased a brand new Toyota HighlanderGot a flat tireCalled ToyotaCare (free service with my new car)
The technician sent by Auto Rescue of Fairfax, LLC showed up in sloppy clothes, dirty flip flops...you get the point
He put on the spare tire and then IMPROPERLY mounted the flat tire underneath my SUV (where the spare was stored) so I could transport it to the dealership to be fixedThe flat tire dislodged from underneath my SUV while I driving (going mph on a flat road), damaging the undercarriage and nearly creating a massive accident behind me as the tire flew into traffic behind me (along with the shrapnel of the broken mounting mechanism)Cost $3K to fix the damage to my SUV

This company was subcontracted to provide roadside assistance for flat tire from road debris for my son who was alone on By the time the employee arrived, it was realized that two tires were flat and tow services neededThe employee of Auto Rescue of Fairfax contacted the contracted provider (Agero) of two flat tires and tow service neededBy now my son's cell phone battery was dead, which was communicated to the employee of Auto Rescue of Fairfax Virginia, who reassured my son saying tow truck ‘knows your location and is on it’s way’ Auto Rescue of Fairfax then left the scene abandoning my son on RT with no communication abilities and a disabled car My son remained on Rt for FOUR hours until a good Samaritan stopped Follcommunication with floor supervisor ‘Mandy’ of Auto Rescue of Fairfax was worthlessI requested to speak to the employee re the conversation made to the contractorMandy refused, had total disregard for my son’s safetyShe refused to lis

Auto Rescue of Fairfax came out to open my vehicle after the keys were locked insideThere have been a handful of times over the years that technicians have had to get me into my locked car, and never before has it been an issue until the person who came from Auto Rescue of Fairfax arrivedAfter waiting for over an hour, the technician tried maybe 4-times, unsuccessfully, to unlock the car before giving upExcept, he was unlocking the carhe just couldn't seem to open the door in time with his painfully slow reflexes, before the doors automatically locked again and the alarm soundedThe experience ended with no resolution whatsoever, thank goodness the service was "included" with my insurance, unfortunately I had to come out of pocket almost $for a locksmith since Auto Rescue of Fairfax employs unskilled technicians who arrive with their families in tow unable to complete the job

UNACCEPTABLE experience with this companyI had an individual of the company who responded to the scene who never got out his vehicle to check on my welfareRoadside assistance right? The individual was very nasty and rude when asked why he couldn’t provide serviceHe stated “it was too unsafe for him.” Another company was able to come and provide better service where the vehicle wasWhen asked what his name was, he refused to give it to me and hung up in my earMy advice, if your insurance company utilizes them, I suggest you learn to do it yourself

I just had a terrible experience with one of the service personnel. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. He is very mean and impatient. My insurance company contacted him to jumpstat my car. My address was 4202 but instead he got 4201 and that was all it took to be upset. He left me in the middle of the street after the power went off. He never respond to me again and texted me to call tow truck

My Toyota 4Runner had a flat. My auto service verified with me that I had the tools necessary to change the tire (jack, etc) and told me at 4pm that Auto Rescue of Fairfax would arrive in 45 minutes. In 60 minutes I had not seen them, so called. I was immediately put on hold for 5 minutes before saying anything. Then I said they were almost 30 minutes late and asked if they were coming. The person asked for my contact number and I was put on hold another 5 minutes. Finally the 3d time someone came on the line they told me that my request had been cancelled because "they do not have the tools to lower the spare from below the SUV". I told them *I* had those tools. They said they do not do that (use customer tools), would only use their own and so the request had been cancelled, they had informed my auto service. But they had my contact number and had not called me. So now it is 5:30pm, prime rush hour and losing light before I had to start from scratch to get a different provider, which took another 3 hours.

Yes, an explanation would be wonderful. How can I edit the form to request explanation? thank you for your time!

A few words to express my appreciation for your prompt and efficient services over the past week. Between flat tires and dead batteries of two cars and multiple visits to help and advise, I want you to know your service personnel were most appreciated. Your associates were courteous and skilled in what they did to help two stranded vehicles get moving.

This is by far one of the worst towing companies I've ever dealt with. The call center representatives lack compassion and common decency. Then they lied and said they called me when they didn't. Then they tell me he'll be another 40 minutes on top of the 2 hrs. As of right now it's been 5 hrs and no tow in sight. I wouldn't have been as mad if it wasn't for their lack of communication. How much effort does it take to call and tell me he's running late. Why do I have to keep calling you back. Now it's 3oclock in the morning and I'm cold and in need of a jump. I am a wife, a mother of 4 and I'm stranded in the cold. Also every time I call, they forget I'm on hold. Horrible company! Don't use them!
