anything, as he wasn't at work and to go on my trip everything would be okNo one from Nissan Auto Center contact me. Around, 11am, Friday 10.27.17, I received a text from Kevin, asking for the vehicle, keep in mind I'm now in Cancun, MexicoI explained to him many times on Wednesday and Thursday I was leaving the Country and wouldn't be back until Monday evening. I land, back in St.Louis and as soon as I turn my phone on, another text from *** saying they need the vehicleI asked them to be at my home at 4pm today w/ my vehicle and down paymentOnly to be told no payment, will be given they decide if they're satisfied with the vehicle

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/15) */
Extended warranties do typically have deductibles that are required and do not effect the total cost of repairs, in addition, a warranty company nor service center is not responsible for diagnostics that are unrelated to and/or not covered by a
warranty
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2015/06/23) */
I understand that there is typically a $deductible on any extended warranty repairI called to inquire if a replacement muffler that rusted away from the tail pipe would be covered under the warrantyI was told that they would not be able to take another shops diagnosisThey would have to run their own diagnostic test for an additional $After that if it was determine that the muffler had indeed rusted away then and only then would they check to see if it was covered
This problem did not require any diagnostic testA simple visual inspection by anyone would show the source of the problem
I purchased the warranty through the dealershipIt took them a while to find itEven when they did locate it they could not tell me if this problem would be covered without the unnecessaryDiagnostic test
The cost to repair the muffler at the closest repair shop was about $The cost to take the car to the dealer with their extended warranty would have been $plus a $deductible for about $Even at that they could not tell me the cost of replacing the muffler if I brought it to them or if it would be covered
A muffler should not rust off on a car still under warranty!
Since they were unwilling to cooperate and at least tell me if a specific problem was covered they were not in good faith honoring their extended warranty
They were going to charge a fee for a diagnostic test that was not needed
In all fairness they should reimburse me the cost of the repair minus the $deductibleI had no choice but to have my car repaired at Auto tire since it looked like the minimum they were going to charge would have been about $and possibly quite a bit more if after their "diagnostic test" they checked and determined the repair was not covered
Thank you for your assistance resolving this issue!
Sincerely,

The individual has been informed that they do not have to pay a fee and we as a company would, had there been a fee to accept with a loan covering what was needed to purchase the vehicle requestedAs explained unfortunately, as a dealer we do not control the banks or how much they choose to lend
and at what termsI have attempted to discuss and am more than happy to discuss again other finance options for them at this time

03/20/11:- Mediator called and left a message.03/27/12:- I did eventually get my down payment and the title for my original car backI had to go through my bank and close my bank account to stop the automatic withdrawals they had setupI'd just like this to be over but I am not happy about the way they treated me or how they handled the situation

All trades are processed and sent to auction locations after transaction and are stored there off site to be sold and are not processed for a sales until all deals are finalThe trade title and down payment in question have been processed and mailed to the individualDealership is not responsible for individual insurance, trade payments and/or expenses when fraudulent information is provided by consumer to obtain financing for purchase

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/07) */
We have communicated with said customer on multiple occasions reviewing his purchase in detail including the purchase price vs MSRP /vavlue as well as installed fog lights out of good will

I reached out and left a message today for consumer to call me directlyOur Day Return refunds the full purchase price of the vehicle less, T,T&L, Additonal Products Purchased, Doc Fee and Mileage the dealer will waive any mileage fees due to the consumers concerns, a Day Return will not reflect as a repo and the dealer is happy to review all figures at anytimePer the consumers concerns of additional mileage we strongly recommend getting the vehicle to the dealership and leaving it with us for a couple of days so that we can further inspect, by most importantly document mileage after drive cycles so that we can compile data and get the manufacture/engineers involved if needDealership is happy to provide a loaner vehicle during time of diagnostic

I am rejecting this response because:
My daughter-in-law was contacted by the GM of the dealership and clearly they are upset on their end by us notifying the Revdex.comI have also contacted the States Attorney because of the situation not being handled professionally by anyone we have dealt with at that dealership. I do not feel as though I should have to pay for two LCD monitors plus two headphone sets that I was under the impression were included and ALWAYS come in the Town and Country modelsIn fact the first time this vehicle was called on we asked about it and we were told it had everything in it fully loaded but a navigation system preinstalled. But of course the dealership is saying there is no documentation of this since it was a phone conversationPricing for this vehicle was $5,over for not having these items included. If I pay out of pocket to get this vehicle equipped I could have bought a brand new modelTrade in value on this vehicle is only $12,$13,the way it is right now and that is if I trade it in at a Chrysler dealership. It is no different seeing the dvd player/entertainment system and assuming all is there and working as it is the same seeing a radio, ac/heat, cruise control, emergency break, etc and having all parts and working correctlyIn my 70+ years I have never had an experience like thisFor this being a "reputable dealership" I have been less than satisfied with this whole experience and regret ever making this purchase.Chrysler manufacturing has stated when this vehicle left manufacturing in Canada it had both items included in itNo Town and Country is sold without the entertainment systems on their newer models (LCD monitors and headphones) and no dealership should sell a model without themThey were less than pleased to learn of this mishap and advised us as well as our local dealerships to contact Revdex.com and the States Attorney if the dealership would not make it right on our end.Either the dealership reimburses us for the over charge on a falsified detailed description of the van or they pay the bill for us to take it to a Chrysler dealership to get the proper equipment installed

I am rejecting the
business response because:The only knowledge I had regarding the necessary steps to take to fix the car was a letter I received directly from the service department listing the part needing replacedBased on the research I did and calls I made to other mechanics the part "o-rings" required opening the engine to get to the pistonsIt wasn't until the dealership had my vehicle for days that someone told me that it wasn't that part at all and they had replaced the entire transmissionOver the numerous conversations I had with multiple individuals at Nissan, which I always initiated, no one ever pulled my file or looked me up on a computerI am very upset with the lack of communication and failure to inform me of what was happening with my vehicleI understand Nissan believes they are doing everything they can to help me, however, I was sold a vehicle that needed major mechanical repair within miles and I just want them to make it rightThis complaint has not been resolved as of right now

I am rejecting this response because: they have the car within hrs and the keys were given to a man named Steve that claimed to be the Mrgthe contract wasn't funded with hrs cause the company I talked to said it would take approximately wks to be funded that they did not have any paper work as of the time we talked and was totally incorrect in the response of the dealership. The dealership said we didnt have any rights to return the car that we owned it. Not only was the contract forced down the customer he felt totally pushed into the contract plus the car didn't fit our body types just too small and a metal bar in the seats was very uncontrollable for people with hip and leg painThis vehicle was not good for us we returned it all before days and they said we owned it but, they insisted that the car be taken home. I feel if they are an honest dealer they wouldnt need to push a year old man a vehicle that would not be a good car for him and his wifei was in the car business for yrs doing finance and delivery of vehicles and never once did I deliver a vehicle and tell them they have to keep it that they own it when the customer was so unhappyThe other reason months for a small car we feel we were taken advantage of and if the contract was suppose to be bought that soon was also a lie they used a generic contract rather than one that was for the company they said and looking up online the people that ie bought the contract are so questionable people also and has had several complaints also please re look at this please we have our car that the lease ended on and purchases that and cant afford two cars either the dealership wasnt interested in purchasing the leased car as trade and refused to transfer our plates so not but in fact several different things were wrong with the contract that they forced on my husband. Thanking you in advance for anything you can do please Revdex.com

The dealership has been reaching out to make sure all parties have all relevant infoThe vehicle was not misrepresented to the individual, the items were discussed prior to the customer leaving with the vehicle originally, a vehicle demo was provided prior to purchaseIn addition, per the disclaimer on the website listed directly below all "Detailed Specification" that are not controlled by the dealer.."While every reasonable effort is made to ensure accuracy of this information, we are not responsible for any errors and omissions contained on these pagesPlease verify any information in question with AutoCenters Nissan"I look forward to speaking with the individuals to present and discuss all information

I contacted the loan company and the loan amount was increased but the increase did not include the fee which is an agreement between the loan company and dealerRoadloans stated the dealer is responsible not the customer, this agreement is why autocenter nissan is a listed authorized dealer
Please email if lender number is requested for the agreement

All credit applications are compiled with information provided by customer and paperwork is disclosed to customers prior to every purchase for review/confirmationWe've met with the individual and thoroughly explained the Day Return and the details of her loan/purchase as well as provided
additional vehicle options available to her at this timeService was arranged for the mechanical concerns and a loaner vehicle can be provided at no expense

The advertisement referenced by the consumer stated, Trade inequity rolled into new loan with approved credit [attached]No recorded calls and/or emails supporting the claims that the consumer was told inequity would be paid by dealer as well does not and have not existedIn the initial complaint the consumer stated that conversations had taken place with the dealer over the phone stating that payoff amounts over $20,cannot be made, however, then the consumer told dealer the payoff was as at least $25,and wanted to get a bigger/more expensive vehicle for a lower payment....Management spoke with the consumers regarding concerns at the dealership during the visit a gas card was offered for their inconvenience after consumer felt time was wasted

The final % Rate and Term were agreed to by the Buyer and choose vs the 0% due to a better payment optionAll items were presented to the buyer per his requestPaperwork was at the bank and funded within HRS and buyer requested and agreed to return unit via the Day
Return. The buyer is still within the Day return as agreed with a full refund of the original purchase price less Tax, Title and license
