Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.I am rejecting the response from Allen Samuels that they offered to remove the add ons and sell the vehicle to me at the advertised price because it is absolutely not trueAll of our communications were via email, and I still have all of their emails I asked that they sell me the vehicle I was interested in at the price they advertised it for on their websiteThey offered a very modest discount from their true asking price ($52,to approximately $49,000) as opposed to the listed price of just over $30,000, but they never offered to remove any add-onsI don't think anyone would find it reasonable to advertise multiple vehicles at $15,to $20,000+ less than the true asking price and expect the consumer not to be taken aback by this practiceIf a dealership is in fact actually modifying this vehicle (assuming it is not shipped already modified) and can take the time to not only upgrade the vehicle but then photograph it in great detail, they can certainly take the time to update the price onlineThe fact that they had at least vehicles listed in this manner between their Alliance and Loop locations at the time that I made my inquiries (still have the three I saw on the Loop website listed in this same manner even though I corresponded with their Internet Sales Manager about it and they apparently have multiple other vehicles with the same issue judging from their "low" pricing) would appear to be more than a coincidence or a lack of attention to updating their websiteThe disclaimer appears to be what they are using as a free pass to get people in the door or to respond to an advertisement before they are told the true asking priceThere are many more examples of this type of pricing on their websites right now Regards, [redacted] ***

We have attempted several times to communicate with Mr***, and have been unable to reach a resolution We have made note of Mr [redacted] concerns and adjusted the price of the vehicle on our website At this point, we don't feel that there is anything else to address

Mileage out on repair orders are not always accurateThe technician has to change that when he enters his final report The facts are the code for the temp sensor never returned (so that issue was repaired), the car never overheated on us and the customer drove the car home without overheatingThe car overheated on the customer two days later after driving over miles We are not trying to mislead the customer in anyway, we never duplicated the condition and only repaired the issue that we could duplicate at that time (temp sensor shorted) We did not repair anything that wasn’t neededThe temp sensor controls cooling fan actuation and speed, it had to be fixed first

Mr [redacted] brought his vehicle in for overheating at highway speedsThe technician test drove the vehicle for miles on the highway and could not duplicate the concernThe check engine light was on for a mis-fire code in which Mr [redacted] declined the tune-up There was also a coolant temperature sensor circuit high code, we replaced the coolant sensor and repaired the connector per Mr***'s request The coolant was full, all fans were operating as designed and we could not find an issue of overheating at this time.Mr [redacted] stated that the vehicle started overheating coming from Denton two days after he picked up the vehicle from our shop Mr [redacted] continued to drive the vehicle from Denton while it was overheating rather that having the vehicle towed in Driving the vehicle such distance while it was overheating is what has caused the engine damage The engine reached such a high temperature that we are unable to identify what failed The vehicle has well over 120k miles on it, and we have no record of the vehicle having been serviced at our location Unfortunately, the damage to the engine was caused by continuing to drive the vehicle while it was overheating.Revdex.com [redacted] *** [redacted] ** [redacted] Dear [redacted] As a service to your business, this letter is in regards to a consumer complaint submitted to the Revdex.com about your business on 9/9/10:29:PM by [redacted] and assigned complaint ID [redacted] Your customer has rejected the business' response For your convenience, a copy of the customer's response is below To expedite this matter, please respond back to the Revdex.com within days of receiving this notice In the Revdex.com's experience, the following tips often help foster trust in a business: * Acknowledge customer concerns * State the facts as you see them and avoid emotion * Explain the actions you have taken to resolve concerns Please understand that the customer's dispute and your response could be publicly posted on the Revdex.com website (Revdex.com reserves the right to not post in accordance with Revdex.com policy)Please do not include any information that personally identifies your customer By submitting your response, you are representing that it is a truthful account of your experience with this customer The Revdex.com may redact the dispute of your response to protect privacy rights and to remove inappropriate language If you have any questions, please contact us at [redacted] between 9:a.mand p.mor by email at [redacted] Regards, [redacted] Dispute Resolution, Ad Review [redacted] [redacted] MESSAGE:We took the dodgeCharger to Allen Samuels because it was over heating on the highway they said they drive it over miles and found nothing wrong if they drove miles why does my invoice say only six miles they drove and it matched when I pickedIt up we drive the car two days later about to miles and it was doing same thing so we pulled over let sit cool all the way down called [redacted] three TimesAnd left messages called service manager couple times left messages so we let cool down for two hours becauseNo one wouldCall us back we drove it back to Allen SamuelsAnd they did nothing to help I got invoice attached and where u can see miles we would appreciate apron response either refund money or fix the car like u said u did they say motor blown now and it running fine aroundUntil u get on highwayFor the reason we took to y'all in the first place

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. The dealer can repeat the same statement over and over again - it doesn't make their practices right or their earlier ad any less misleadingThey tried to tell me after the fact that they would remove all add ins and sell vehicle for what it was previously listed at, but my request was whether or not they would sell the pictured vehicle for the listed priceApparently they think by saying they have tried to reach a resolution that this absolves them, but it doesn'tAllen Samuels dealerships track back to a single corporate ownership, so saying they have no control over what happens at the Loop location doesn't ring true eitherThe fact remains that they listed a vehicle at a sticker price that was no longer valid and matched with detailed pictures of that vehicle with modificationsEven allowing for the add ins the pricing differential as explained to me via their emails does not add up Regards, [redacted] ***

First off, I would like to apologize for the issues and problems you are having getting your vehicle repaired to your satisfactionUnfortunately the repair facility repairs only what is authorized by the vehicle owner, or other party paying for the repairs to the vehicleWhich I believe in your case is an Insurance companyThe repair facility does not determine or make the final decision what is to be repaired, or replaced to any given vehicleThe repair facility can only offer opinions about repairs and fixing the vehicleInsurance companies want a visual proof, and explanation of what and how something was damaged in any particular case caused by that particular collisionYour particular case, the repair facility notified the Insurance company of additional damagesThe Insurance company returned and re-inspected, at that time they made the decision not to cover the damages due to the fact the facility and Insurance field rep could not relate it to the original collisionAgain I apologize for any inconvenience.Thank you

The day Mr*** picked the car up from service they had to drive it home and it did not overheatMr*** states they drove the car two days later and it overheatedHe also states it overheated after going on a little trip after driving about milesMr*** drove the car without an overheating issue as well The car never overheated on us, the code in the computer for a faulty temp sensor we replaced has not returnedWe fixed the condition that was present at the time we test drove the vehicleThe condition the customer is experiencing now was not present while we test drove the vehicleThe vehicle has over 126, miles on it, we checked it out for an overheating issue that we did not duplicate, it had a code for temp sensor which controls the fan operation which can cause an overheating issue if the fans do not come onWe do not feel we should do this work for freeTherefore we decline the request for a refund The car was driven miles from the time the Mr*** picked the car up from our shop until he returned back to our shop

I emailed back and forth with the dealership multiple times *** *** with Allen Samuels Alliance), and they are correct in stating that we never reached a resolution They did adjust the price on the one vehicle but have claimed that they are not responsible for the pricing or actions of their sister dealership on Loop I suppose that, although I documented the same issues with them in the original claim, I will have to file a separate one to get any action Allen Samuels Alliance has steadfastly denied any wrongdoing and to sell the vehicle that was shown in the detailed pictures for the amount previously advertised If my complaint is available to the public, I believe this is the only satisfaction I will receive this point I will take my business elsewhere and encourage anyone that asks to do the same

As we stated before, we have been unable to come to a reasonable solution with Mr***. We have also addressed that we operate independently from our sister store in NRH, and cannot adjust their pricing on their website

***,I just submitted the check request for Mr***, I should have a check cut within the next 48hrs, it will be mailed out after that. Thank you, *** ***Pre-owned Sales ManagerAutonation CDJR NFort Worth*** dealership*** cell

Unfortunately we are unable to issue a refund for the services that were completed. The vehicle was not overheating at the time Mr*** picked up the vehicle. We cannot assume responsibility for an issue that was not present when the vehicle was in our service department

The amount in question has been satisfied with Chase bankThank you

check has now been received by chase bank

We can find no record of Ms*** contacting the dealership regarding this complaint. Our records do not indicate the information provided here to be accurate but we are more than willing to have a conversation about a resolution to the issue. Please have Ms*** contact me

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: This is an act of collusion, I took my car into two other Dodge Dealership and both said the wreck damaged the Steering Gear ' Steering Rack ' and Power Steering Pump Assembly (Electric) Yes the insurance paid for the inspection to the car, but Allen Samuel Service was not bias, putting my safety in danger and forcing me to pay for repairs that was covered under my insurance.

We sincerely apologize for the wait that Mr. [redacted] had to endure while he visited our dealership.  It is never our intention to keep a customer waiting, and for that we apologize.  Our pre-owned inventory does turn very quickly, and when that happens we do our best to find something...

comparable to the original inquiry.  In this case we didn't seem to have anything that fit Mr. [redacted]'s needs.  Again, we apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused.

The
day Mr. [redacted] picked the car up from service they had to drive it home and it did not
overheat. Mr. [redacted] states they drove the car two days later and it overheated. He also states it overheated after going on a little trip after driving
about 20 miles. Mr. [redacted] drove the car without an overheating issue as well.
The car never overheated on us, the code in the computer  for a faulty  temp
sensor we replaced has not returned. We fixed the condition that was present at
the time we test drove the vehicle. The condition the customer is experiencing
now was not present while we test drove the vehicle. The vehicle has over 126,000
miles on it, we checked it out for an overheating issue that we did not
duplicate, it had a code for temp sensor which controls the fan operation which
can cause an overheating issue if the fans do not come on. We do not feel we
should do this work for free. Therefore we decline the request for a refund.
The
car was driven 85 miles from the time the Mr. [redacted] picked the car up from our
shop until he returned back to our shop.

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.I am rejecting the response from Allen Samuels that...

they offered to remove the add ons and sell the vehicle to me at the advertised price because it is absolutely not true. All of our communications were via email, and I still have all of their emails.  I asked that they sell me the vehicle I was interested in at the price they advertised it for on their website. They offered a very modest discount from their true asking price ($52,000 to approximately $49,000) as opposed to the listed price of just over $30,000, but they never offered to remove any add-ons. I don't think anyone would find it reasonable to advertise multiple vehicles at $15,000 to $20,000+ less than the true asking price and expect the consumer not to be taken aback by this practice. If a dealership is in fact actually modifying this vehicle (assuming it is not shipped already modified) and can take the time to not only upgrade the vehicle but then photograph it in great detail, they can certainly take the time to update the price online. The fact that they had at least 4 vehicles listed in this manner between their Alliance and Loop 820 locations at the time that I made my inquiries (still have the three I saw on the Loop 820 website listed in this same manner even though I corresponded with their Internet Sales Manager about it and they apparently have multiple other vehicles with the same issue judging from their "low" pricing) would appear to be more than a coincidence or a lack of attention to updating their website. The disclaimer appears to be what they are using as a free pass to get people in the door or to respond to an advertisement before they are told the true asking price. There are many more examples of this type of pricing on their websites right now.
Regards,
[redacted]
