AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix Reviews (32)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted]

Mr. and Mrs [redacted] have been nothing but dishonest and beligerent in the handling of this issue.  Their daughter brought in the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee and told our service advisors that the cleaners at the car wash broke the cover off the radio when cleaning.  Still we took pictures for...

the customer and sent in claim to Chrysler.  At no time did anyone ever make any comittment to the [redacted].  Chrysler denied claim to warranty the radio because it was clearly broken off and not a defect.  Both Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] have only wished to go off on profanity laced tyraids with myself and my staff.  They will no longer get any assitance at this store, and are no longer welcome here.  The fact that you purchased 2 units over 3 years does not give you the right to treat people the way they do.

I have purchased 3 vehicles now at this dealership AutoNation. I came in to trade my dodge dart 2013 in for a newer truck. I also told them before we looked that my car was at the body shop and that I wanted to trade in the car as is! so we came to an agreement and I signed the papers and drove the truck home approximately on 5/15/2015. They then called me back and had me resign for more money down and a higher payment which I signed and did so I could keep the deal rolling. this day is 5/20/2015 I also towed the trade in on 5/20/2015.. I have the acceptance letter from bank of the west and I have made my first payment of 424.18.. On approximately 6/4/2015 I received text messages from [redacted] stating that they are putting the lean back onto my dart.. and that I will be responsible for either fixing the dart or payments on the dart when that is not what we agreed on. also now trying to send a repo man out to get MY TRUCK that I have already put a 1000 down on and paid the HIGHER payment that we agreed on of 424.18.. I am also receiving threaten texts messages from the manager(GSM) [redacted] that I have proof of on my phone.

I took my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee to the AutoNation’s service department on May 26, 2016 to have my front driver seat fixed. I also wanted to receive one of my free oil changes. Kevin the service advisor requested a tire rotation which I also agreed to have done. I told Kevin my service advisor that my Jeep was under extended warrantee for the seat issue. When I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee I purchased multiple warrantees to cover the Jeep Grand Cherokee form “bumper to bumper”. In fact, the financial advisor who sold me the service contracts shared with me that if I had any problems with the leather seats including rips, ink marks, wholes, or electrical parts that my warrantee would cover the fixing of the issue of even replacing the whole seat if needed.

But I found out over the phone today, according to my service advisor Kevin, the broken front seat was NOT covered under the extended warrantee contract since the issue was a broken part. Therefore either Kevin or the financial advisor who sold me the contract was not telling the truth. Either way over the phone I told Kevin to cancel ALL requested work except for the free oil change. I decided I did not want to do business with an unethical company who would sell me a $45,000 dollar SUV plus extended warrantees and “not honor” their agreement!

I asked Kevin to send the shuttle to pick me up at home right away so that I could get my Jeep Grand Cherokee. After 1 ½ hours I called back because the shuttle driver had not arrived. Kevin shared that the driver was in Black Canyon City. I cancelled the request and had a friend drive me to AutoNation to pick-up my Jeep. When I arrive and went to sign the paperwork there was a charge on the invoice for tire rotation. Kevin said the service department did the tire rotation before I called. Kevin did remove the charge from the invoice.

The cashier said my car would be outside the waiting room doors. It was not outside the doors at the pick-up area but in the back of the building. I walked to the back of the building to retrieve my car. As I got into my Jeep I notice that they did not wash it as stated they would do with the oil change.

I plan on taking my Jeep Grand Cherokee to another ethical dealership to have my front seat fixed and to receive better customer service. My advice to anyone reading this letter on all the social media sites I’m posting this information, is do not do business at AutoNation in Phoenix, Arizona!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10403294, and have determined that...

this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. That option was already offered to me when I contacted the dealership the day after I brought the truck home and discovered that the mirror was broken.  I have already rejected that offer.

Regards,

I will make sure the check has been cut and sent out by Monday 7/21/14 at the very latest.  I have looked up his contract and it is in place.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this...

resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Check will be sent Friday 08/01/2014 by AutoNation Corporate.  My finance director spoke with customer in the morning 07/30/2014 and informed him.  As for request for gas.  The next time customer is close to dealership please bring in car and we will fill tank for him and...

wash car.

Unfortunatly after 6 months of ownership it is impossible to dertermine the exact cause of a bubble in a tire.  No dealerships would be responsible for tires that long after the unit sold. I would be more than willing to extend dealer cost on the replacement of 1 or all of the tires on the...

truck, but not a refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This kind of cracking (as seen in the pictures) only occurs after years of weather and sun exposure. There is no way that anything in the last 6 months caused this cracking and you know it.  The cracks were there when I purchased the truck. Your salesman told me if was safe to drive. It clearly was not. Tires are supposed to be replaced before they blow out not after they blow out.  The fact that I only drove 5,000 miles on these tires until the bubble developed and almost blew out is proof that these tires should have been replaced at the time of sale. Do you replace your tires after you have a blow out on the freeway?  I doubt it, I'm sure you replace them before you have a blow out like everyone else does. I have already purchased a new set of tires so I have no need for a dealer cost tire.  My wife drives this truck everyday to school and we couldn't afford to have the truck down so we already purchased tires. I'm not even asking for a new set of tires. I'm asking for you to be fair and reimburse us for 1/2 the cost of the tires since you should have sold this truck with a descent set of tires.

Regards,

The 2004 truck you purchased As-Is abided by all Arizona state requirements for reconditioning and sale.  As the owner of the truck you become 100% responsible for all maintanence and repair for the vehicle.  I am sorry for situtation but it does not entitle a refund.

I went to this dealer to trade in my 09 cadillac ctsv for a truck so I could buy a 5th wheel camper. the salesman shows me the manual that says the truck will tow 17k lbs. I finally buy a 5th wheel and come to find out the tow capacity was only 12k and I can't tow my 5th wheel. They will sell anything to get a deal..... extremely unprofessional!

Mr. [redacted] is attempting to get his car repurchased from Chrysler under the lemon law.  He is a very hostile person and he was the person who assaulted one of my employees.  We have tried to help resolve his issues as best as we can but at this time the manufacturer must step in and...

resolve this issue.

I bought a brand new Dodge Ram 1500 2 years ago along with an oil change package. It was not disclosed to me that the oil change package would expire and when I went in for my first routine oil change off the warranty, I was told not to come in till my truck reached 10,000 miles. I use my work truck daily and have not put that many miles on the Dodge Ram 1500. I brought my truck in for its first oil change using the package and was told I have 5 months until the rest of my oil changes expire. I've only put 9500 miles on the truck and have been told that I will lose the rest of the oil changes when the expiration date comes around. I pleaded my case to no avail and was told after they expire they can offer to sell me another oil change package, and that's it. I paid top dollar for the truck, they got my money and have dropped their customer service completely. All I want is to be able to use the oil changes that I paid for, when I need them.

Resolution has already been accepted in this matter by**.[redacted].  I am not able or willing to give cash.

I received a call from [redacted], Finance Manager (spelling ?) who agreed to return to me credit of the disputed amount immed. He transferred my call to Steve, who...

took my Credit Card information. I am accepting this but have FAILED TO RECIEVE THE CREDIT YET, if I do not recieve the agreed credit amount in a timley manner I WILL file another complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

I received coupons from AutoNation saying that I could come to get my Transmission serviced. The coupon was very vague, so I called into AutoNation and spoke with the service advisor by the name of [redacted] told me the Coupon covers the maintenance of the Transmission at no cost to me. When I brought my vehicle in [redacted] took the coupon and confirmed that it cover the transmission. He took my vehicle back and they performed the service to my tans. When they called me up to pick up my vehicle they stated that I owe 200$. I told the front desk lady by the name of [redacted] that I had a coupon to wave the cover of the trans. Then she told me that I will have to pay 179$ to get my car back and [redacted] was gone for the day and I couldn't speak with him. I asked to speak with the GM. The GM [redacted] stated that He makes the finale decision(and laughed in my face) and I would have to pay 125$ to get my car back. I politely asked for him to call Adam, so that [redacted] can explain to him what he explained to me. He told me I could either pay the 125$ to get my car back because he was "cutting me a deal" or I could leave his dealership with out my car and if I didn't leave he would call the police on me. Mr. [redacted] was very rude and disrespectful to while he laughed in my face and said I was ignorant about the coupon. [redacted] ended up taking my coupon book from me. [redacted] called the police on me for no reason.

Mr [redacted] is already working with the Regional Chrysler Service Manager.  His car is at [redacted] Chrysler as we speak being looked at by a Chrysler field Technician.  This matter is above the dealership level.

There is no way to prove that the damage to his mirror happened at the dealership.  There is no way to prove it did'nt happen at the dealership.  My offer stands, and it expires 01/31/2015.

The worst auto dealer service department I have ever experienced, they could not even find me in the computer system after initial visit and order for part on Jeep Grand Cherokee. Terrible Service Department !
