We called the customer and told him that his refund was The customer paid for the contract when he bought the car

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I did pay the balance owed with dispute. Today I got another call
from the finance manager trying to collect and he threatened to repossess my car if I did not pay the balance and when I told them I would sue for auto theft he then threatened to report the car as stolen. I did get a call back from the general manager, after I filed a complaint, and was met with an aggressive attitude; I tried to explain my side and he was very dismissive. I don't appreciate being treated like I did something wrong and that I willfully underpaid for the vehicle, when I paid exactly what I was told by the finance manager

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:In the prior response you said you offered to pay half.Thats in writing! Now you are saying it's not in writing? I guess that's the confusing part

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/08/13) */
I am sorry for the time [redacted] wasted at our store to get done what we couldn't do. The check for reimbursement was received on the 7th of August and the other check for taxes was mailed on the 11th.

Customer came in on Friday and paid the balance.

Customer signed a menu for 48 months before he went into finance. The customer went into finance and bought a 2year 24000 mile protection plan and signed at 57months. Customer bought the car on November 5, 2016 and we made payoff on November 16, 2016. The difference from the payoff...

will come from [redacted] not the dealership.

The check was mailed out on 7-10-2017.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/11/02) */
AutoNation Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Southwest has repaired the vehicle, and to the knowledge of the management staff the check engine light has not returned. Anything said to the customer which the customer took as a lie was not intentional, and...

will be addressed internally. The Service Director called and left a message with the customer, but if the customer would like to get his truck serviced elsewhere then any warranty purchased during the vehicle purchase will cover the customer at another certified Chrysler dealership.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/08/07) */
We understand [redacted]'s frustration. She has been to [redacted] and our [redacted] store with this issue and refuses to come back to our store to let us help resolve the issue. She is pursuing a buyback through Chrysler and we will support...

her as much as possible.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 12, 2015/08/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
On my 2015 Cherokee Jeep, the Jeep has been 5 times now with the same problem and it has not been resolved. The transmission still shifts hard, has no acceleration power allot of times I have to turn off the A/C to get power and that doesn't work it rattles in reverse really loud. In the car the other day and coming down a steep hill where you need to apply the brakes more then once as coming down and the car every times for the 4 times I applied the brakes the tachometer went up to 4 RPM lift off the brake the tachometer went down it continued to do so as I was coming down the hill as it was doing this the transmission seemed to roam as if stuck for that time. This car can not be fixed as it keeps on having serious issues I am afraid to drive it currently, as I don't know what it will do. If I had another car to drive I would but I don't.
I DO NOT WANT THIS VEHICLE and wish the customer service and Chrysler would accept this mistake with this vehicle. It's a scary car and I do NOT FEEL SAFE driving it. I would like a buy out asap
Final Business Response /* (4000, 30, 2015/09/15) */
I have called my Parts and Service Rep for Chrysler again on Ms. [redacted] issue. I will do everything possible to help with her situation. Chrysler has the service history on the vehicle and the buy back would be their decision.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 32, 2015/09/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I am wanting the buy out asap

Ms. [redacted],   I spoke with the General Sales Manager, [redacted], at our AutoNation Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram Southwest store who is very familiar with this customer, Mr. [redacted].   Mr. [redacted], in fact spoke to Mr. [redacted] on numerous occasions, after the purchase of the vehicle....

Mr [redacted] was never told the vehicle had navigation included in the vehicle, and when he indicated he was told it did, and Mr. [redacted] pressed him on the issue, Mt [redacted] indicated he in fact never was told it had navigation, but that he wanted it, and wanted the dealership to  install it for him at no cost to him.  Mr. [redacted] explained we could not pay the entire cost of the navigation &  install, but would be willing to split the $600 cost with him, if he would pay ½. He declined and said he would “ burn us” on the Chrysler CSI survey, ( which he did do, gave the store very poor marks).   Please let me know if you need any further information on this complaint.   Sincerely, [redacted]

I will follow up with my finance director on the matte,r and follow up with the customer.

I will look into this and get back to the customer.
