Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: My car was already with my mechanic getting fixed when I called the dealership. I can't tell my mechanic to stop in the middle of his work. ALso, offering to fix the issue when the issue is being addressed is not really an offer. The dealership offered this knowing that there was nothing that could be done. I am not going to tow a half worked on car, so they can mess things up more. THis is just not proper. If the company was going to pay for the expenses, then reimburse me for the amount that they would have paid for using their own labor and parts. This is the amount they should have put into the car, prior to me leaving the lot with an unsafe car in the first place. It is negligence on the company's part for overlooking this issue.
Sincerely,
*** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:the Dealership gave me their point inspection sheet which addressed the brakes and other safety items was in good condition. They did not disclose on this sheet that the items that they checked were truthfully checked and overlooked. A cracked front differential is not something you should be putting back out on the road. The fact that their mechanics overlooked this issue as well as another (brakes were not fully functioning) is the reason I did not want to take my car back to them to "remedy". I don't want duct tape to be a fix for this major item that should have been addressed prior to me leaving the lot.
Sincerely,
*** ***
