I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Indeed Tony from Roofing called me five times..but it was after I called him five times to inquire when he is coming to check out my roof....which he never didHe finally did after I submitted my complaint to the Revdex.comwhen he arrived last week, I had a handful of silver chips to show Tony that came down my downspout after the last rainsHe showed me my roof video...I am perplexed where these chips are coming from...it has to be from the roof....and further gathering info on this aluminum paint used for flat roofs it does have a poor adherence to a surfacei did not suggest this product ...Tony did as I was paying him and he said his co worker Sergio could apply this for four hundred dollars....it took minutes with no prep work to my flat roof...such as leaf blowing it to remove dust.debrie...etc...he gave me a refund of two hundred dollars....I hope it will last until next spring when I will have another roofing company replace the roof..but meanwhile getting half of my money returned is satisfactory for me....a lesson learned on my part to do the research first on a productThank you so much for your promptness in this matterRegards, *** ***

I alway see AVA lawn signs everywhere I go and I have been looking for a contractor for over a year and it when it came down to make decisions I got AVA because thier quality is not compromised

Revdex.com spoke to Tony at business and the following was relayed: I handled this job and customer personally. The ridge vent is not listed on the contract. I had discussed with him that there were already 2 large ridge vents installed to allow hot air out and no intakes to allow in cold air ventilation....

He did not want to spend any extra money. There were two individuals involved that shared the cost, the neighbor has paid their half of the $6,350. He has not paid anything. The contract states that the price is for a 1 layer tear off which is what he told me was on the roof, and had even originally suggested roofing over the existing shingles. When the job began it was in fact discovered that there were two layers. This required additional labor and costs for the dumpster and additional weight. He was charged $475 for this. Regarding the bush, not a tree, I had already offered to replace and once a landscaper had replaced it I would reimburse him for that. Regarding the ridge vent, I did offer to return and install but he stated he did not want me to. Currently, there is an outstanding bill due of $3,650.

To me, the devil is in the detail. These are things I had to clean up after the roof was completed. I did call and mention these things to the owner and was promised a gift card for my efforts (never got the card) 1. I had to caulk 16 exposed nail heads, caulk at my own expense. 2. I had to caulk the main toilet roof boot. 3. The roof ventilator fan was not caulked per my request and fan instructions and I have been up there twice to anchor it again. 4. A sheet of the fire wall drywall in the garage fell due to dropping of roof tile bundels on the roof and I had to go up and screw it back in. My leg is black and blue because I am on blood thinners and broke a blood vessel. I'm 68 years old, I needed a complete job. Although the overall job was good, I believe I should not have had to do cleanup and should have been compensated.

I have used AVA more the one time on our rental properties and I have got to admit they are the best and very reasonable because I trust them 100 percent and I knew they would deliver

AVA just completed a tear off roof replacement , redo a flat roof porch, add new railing ,new soffit and facia and new gutters and drain pipes. I am very please with the whole experience. On time, on schedule, friendly conscientious workers. Did not cut corners. replaced wood to make sure that everything was sound before putting up finish materials. Did a fantastic clean up job in the attic and outside. No nails or old roofing material on the ground. Washed down the driveway with the hose. I will use again with my other properties.

AVA just finished our roof tear-off and replacement. We are thrilled with the experience. Summary: great price, professional job, quality installation, hard work and professionalism. In more detail: It is so important that they come in with a big crew and get done very quickly. Less weather exposure for my roof, and less disruption to our neighbors. The price was great, compared to others I have gotten. The shingles have a 40 year lifetime and the labor is guaranteed for 10 years.
They went above and beyond - even correcting some problems with the gutters while they worked. And, they cleaned up every trace of their work, leaving not even a nail or scrap of shingle behind.

Excellent company for your roofing needs. Very thorough inspection, prior to providing quotes for work to be done. The actual roof repair process was of high quality, and yet Very affordable. We will use them again, and will recommend to others.
