Hi,
Yes they did credit my account for the full amount due. I want to thank you, the Revdex.com, for helping me out with this problem. Their, AVG's, customer service is not good. You get a runaround with their automated phone service and then just get a 'good-bye' and hung up on. When I finally did get a live person, he told me, with an accent I could hardly decipherer, that I should have been given a pin number when I got the phone number from them, which I didn't. You where my only option.

AVG graciously gave me two options to resolve this issue. I selected a refunds requested. AVG sent me a copy of the confirmation, note, that they are giving me a refund. I have not received the monies yet as they indicated it takes 8-10 days to get through the banking system. As long as I do receive the refund, which I do believe I will, I am totally satisfied with this response. Thank you.

I do not accept this response because it is the same response that I have heard from them since filing for a refund. Every time I follow up with AVG's Customer Support, I get the same response. I was told on Oct. 13 that a refund was approved and that it would take up to 5 business days for the refund to deposit into my account. It has now been 16 days since that time and still no refund. This is unacceptable.

expired and had AVG Continuing Protection Service (automatic renewal) active. We are also sending notification e-mails to associated e-mail address 30 days prior the automatic renewal is happening to prevent such unwanted payments.
I have reviewed our records however I have not found any account, order nor license number registered under personal details you have shared here. I would like to ask you for the order ID, license number or any proof of purchase so I can check our records and process the refund for you.

what the problem is with uninstalling AVG as your description implies the product is not behaving in the normal way, so I would like to verify that you are going about removing AVG in the correct way. I would therefore like to ask you to try the steps described below.
Windows XP and 7:
Go to Start -> (Settings) -> Control Panel.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG in the list of programs.
Click the Uninstall or Change/Remove button.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the uninstallation.
Restart your computer.
Windows 8:
Right-click AVG on the Start screen.
Click Uninstall in the bottom bar.
Select AVG in the list of programs.
Click the Uninstall or Change/Remove button.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the uninstallation.
Restart your computer.
If this does not work, you try to run our AVG remover tool, which you can download from the following link:

Hopefully these steps will take care of uninstalling AVG, but just in case it doesn't work I would ask for your cooperation by allowing our senior technicians access your computer. Without doing so the problem would be very difficult to diagnose.

I am not being prompted to enter my account information at any time by AVG PC Tune Up, and therefore, I cannot upgrade the product. I have reinstalled it and was never prompted to enter my account information during installation, and there is nowhere to do so on the PC Tune Up interface. You have updated my account on your website, but my original problem of not being able to upgrade this product has not been solved.

A technician helped me upgrade the product and was very helpful. I am grateful to both Revdex.com and AVG this has been resolved but in the future, AVG may wish to be more clear with instructions for consumers, as in my case when I upgraded PC Tune Up the website said I needed to simply input my email address, when the technician had to uninstall and reinstall a paid version of this program, something I was not made aware I had to do. Thank you for your time.
