We had Bob from Avix Design recommended to us by one of our friends that had used him and had success We contacted Bob to provide us with a quote to change our cabinet doorsHe was on-site the next day with some samples and a wealth of knowledgeHe gave us a rough number on-site that night and once we knew we were within our budget range he sent us a formal quote Because we found Bob so easy to deal with we started to throwing more and more projects at himHe somewhat turned into our general contractor, and in doing so, gave us some great pricing on basically all of the work that we did in our house We are very happy with the end result, it is exactly what we had hoped for, and we ended up basically on budget I would recommend Bob from Avix Design, and we do plan to throw some more work at him If I had to give Bob a star rating it would be between a or a out of The real question is, would you recommend him to friend or family? Yes, I already have

Avix Design & Construction Codid an excellent job with our renovationThe original plan was to only do our basement bathroom but it spread like wildfire adding the main bathroom and stairs bathroom to the listThis was made possible because of the reasonable cost that [redacted] providedThere are things that led me to write this reviewFirst, [redacted] is a trustworthy person to deal withHe is very true to his words and actionsSecond, [redacted] has very creative ideas that would make the renovation a top notchAnd last but not the least, he would always remind you of your budget if things are getting out of hand due to new things getting added (in our situation, it was the case because of his reasonable cost)It's rare you find this personality from other contractorsJob well done ***! I was referred to Bob through a co-worker He came home to discuss what we wanted to be done He sent us an estimate which he change it or times, of course each one was more and more expensive and we never argued about the price We agreed in the price, we trusted him, we gave him a house key and a big amount of money as a deposit The house was empty all day, he started with the job which originally supposed to take weeks ( this job can be done in weeks) which after weeks we decided to terminate the contract because in weeks he didn't finished what he started The logistic of what to do first it wasn't the right one and of course every time he came with surprises which we needed to add more money than agreed at the beginning Example removal of the garbage, he never told us that he will not take the garbage and is our responsibility which it cost us lots of money( this is only one example) Every time we contact him to ask about when the job will be done he always gave us stories about why he is not coming to work, [redacted] Several times he screamed to me on the phone very bad for no reason and this is not the way to treat a customer He told me that he has being doing this kind of work for years which I think he is new on this business He told me that he have the best lawyer in town so if I wanted to sue him it was ok with him We decided to ask him to abandone the job, he gave us a very small amount of money back to settleHe gave us the money in a bank draft because (he run out of company checks)??? He apologized for the poor job he did He charged us taxes and he never gave us the invoice Our advise is if you don't want to loose your sleep, loose your freedom and of course your money Do Not do business with him

Found Avix design to be better in comparison to other companies I have hired previously Found to be customer service oriented, and proactive in post project support Very flexible with coordination and scheduling Adaptive to clients budget Very satisfied and will recommend to others Thank you for a job well done, on budget and on schedule
