Our product is not for a free trial of a product. It's a 14 day trial of a monthly membership for skin care products. We're sorry that your niece used your card to purchase our product, but there's nothing we could have done to have prevented that. Also, there's no way for us to verify your address without the person ordering the product being the person who owns the card being used to purchase our products. This is actually a part of our terms and conditions for this reason.
However, that being said, we also make it a point to make sure that all of all customers are satisfied especially when it's their birthday. So we have issued you a full refund for the remaining amount including the original $4.95 for the trial enrollment and shipping.

a bad experience with us and that you had to file a Revdex.com letter to get your issue resolved.
The second product you mention is a product that we offer to customers who have already purchased another one of our products. It seems that you added this to your orders as you checked out. The terms are clearly located on the page and they are not unlawful. What you signed up for was a Trial for a Monthly Membership program not a free prouct. However we will review Avoirskincare.net for any misguided information. Avoirskincare.net is an advertising affiliate of ours and is not related to our actual company. So should we find infringing material we will have him removed as an affiliate.
However, as people can get confused by this from time to time we have instructed our support team to give refunds to anyone who does not understand the terms for what they signed up for. It look like they did not do this and for that we deeply apologize. We have refunded all of your orders including your your trials.
As token of our apology, please feel free to keep the remaining product that you may have.

I reject this response because of the terms and conditions of this company.  In ordering this product online , I was not informed of the terms and conditions, which allowed the company to continue billing my card after the 14 day trial.  I stopped payment, so it did not affect me, but researching the company online, I was one of the lucky customers.  Many customers were billed $89.15 without their knowledge, and did not get their money back. At no time during the ordering process was I informed of their terms and conditions  and that is a scam!  It is not a FREE trial.

Review: Avoir Skin mailed me a product that included NO PAPER WORK, NO PHONE NUMBERS OR CONDITIONS, specifying that if the product was not cancelled in 14 days, that monies would be taken out of my account each month for the original price of the product. Because of this, I had no way of knowing that I had to call them to cancel the product to prevent future shipments and charges. They have made 3 unauthorized withdrawals from my VISA account, dated 10/02/14, 11/01/14, and 12/01/14. I received a shipment from them today, which I did NOT open, and went on-line to try to find a phone number or website for them, so I could resolve this issue once and for all. The Customer Service Representative was only willing to reimburse me the full amount for the 12/01/14 withdrawal, because I told her I was going to report them to the Revdex.com. My account has been cancelled, and she gave me a Cancellation number. I would, however, still like to be reimbursed for the 10/01/14 and 11/01/14 charges, totaling $197.46.

Review: I purchased this skin cream on line. The next day I received an unsolicited phone call trying to get me to join their VIP club. I said "no" I just wanted the trial cream for the price of the shipping and handling as advertised.I received the cream and called in to cancel any more shipments and because I was HOURS over the cancellation period they charged me $98.73 for a couple ounces of cream.I can't use the cream because it has caused an allergic reaction. I'm stuck with worthless cream and a $98.73 charge on my debit card which infuriates me.Desired Settlement: I would like my $98.73 credited to my debit card and NEVER receive anything from or hear back from this company again.

Review: I wanted to get this information to the Revdex.com, especially regarding advertisements. Yours was the only e-mail address I could find. If you can't do anything about the following, please try to get it to the appropriate person or department. This is affecting people around the world.

A couple of weeks ago I came upon an advertisement on Huffington Post that claimed that Ellen Degeneres and Dr. Oz recommended a particular product as being wonderful for treating wrinkles. It was for a "free trial"

at a cost of $4.95 each for two products (s&H). I fell for it. Now I have great regrets. It turns out that this is a huge scam in which they claim that the buyer has agreed to pay $90+ for each one and to receive additional products each month on automatic pay. If you check out any or all of the URLs below you will see that this has been going on for some time. In many, if not most cases, the buyer never sees the "terms". There is no place to agree or disagree with the terms. And when you discover this scam (mine via my credit card company flagging it) it is too late to do anything about it. I was fortunate, unlike some, that I was able to at least reach the customer service line (provided by my credit card company) but that is hopeless as the best the girl will do is give you a 50% refund of the near $100 charges for each item, and stop further charges (so they say). If you read letters in the following sites, you will see that there are more than one companies doing this scam, and that the story is the same (as mine) for each person. Either there are multiple companies doing this (and advertising all over the place on reputable sites) OR they are moving from one name to another. All of the products advertise the same, but have different names.

Mine were Avoir Anti-Aging Serum and Velour Eye Cream. Another is Equinox. Another is Hydroxatone.

The methods, advertising, and performance are all the same.

This clearly aims especially toward the senior citizens like me who are used to trusting that a "free trial"

used to mean a "free" trial. (We understand the S&H). Also we don't see all that well and can't read small print easily.

Part of the scam is that when I (or others) placed the order, we received NO paperwork, no confirmation page of the order.

Also, when the product arrived in the mail, it was not accompanied by any paperwork or order form!

When I spoke to the customer service person this morning (10-17-14) named [redacted], she would not even 'give me the name of the company she worked for. I had to research to find an address, which may or may not be correct Avoir Skin has the following address

Review: I saw the ad for this on the Dr. Oz show, thinking this company would be ok to buy from I fell for it. I ordered "free / low cost trail" offers Avoir Anti Aging Serum, Velour Eye Cream, Revitol Anti Aging Moisturizer and Rejuvanew.

I received the "free / low cost trail" offers plus some I didn't want: another Revitol Anti Aging Cream was substituted for Rejuvanew. Then one day there was 5 jars of Dermology that I was charged $153.95! Also another jar of Revitol Anit Aging Moisturizer, $75.94! I called 818.303.9260 to cancel on different days & times and was put on hold by an automated system then it disconnected I called right back same thing, then it left me on hold for 20 minutes & had to hang up because my break was over. I e-mailed & told them what happened & I didn't want the product & wanted to return. I thought everything was ok. Then I received another jar of Revitol Anit Aging Moisturizer, $75.94! I called again & same disconnect after an automated message, after 3 or 4 times I was connected & received zip in the way of help. I was told I could return if unopened & seal in tact, the seal fell out of the package when I opened it another didn't have one! He told me I couldn't return it, for any with seal I pay shipping & $10 per bottle restocking fee. I told him this was a ripoff & asked for his supervisor. I was "transferred" to disconnect. I called back went thru the same mess & was told the supervisor would return my call. Never happened. Now my card has been compromised and have charges that I didn't authorize for approximately $680.00, I can't prove that this company is the cause but all of the charges started at the time I received these shipments. I have had to cancel my card and notify companies that I pay out if this card.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for all of the charges! I haven't opened the containers, I don't want this garbage!
