Review: I ordered a "FREE" trial of a their product that I saw on cnn.com. When I was ordering the product, I was told that I would be charged $3.95 for shipping and asked if I also wanted to try for "FREE" another of their skincare products. I said yes and was told I would pay for $4.95 for shipping. Today, I went online to my account and found I had been charged over $180 from this same company. I called the number that was listed with the charges and was told that in their terms & conditions it stated I would be sent a 30 day supply within 15 days of the date the order was placed if I did not cancel and be charged approximately $89. I told the representative that I never received those terms and conditions in the order process, through the email confirmation I received or with the trial product that I received just within the last 5 days. When I told her I wanted to cancel whatever contract I had with them, I was offered a 50% discount and they would extend my trial period. I told them no. Then she offered me a 75% discount. I again told her no I was not interested. I do not like to use standing order companies and I simply cannot afford to pay over $180 a month for skincare products. She did indicate that my contract was cancelled and provided confirmation numbers. I'm angry that I cannot return the product and get my money back as I cannot afford to and never would have signed up for a product that costs that much. I've had experience with these standing order companies before and I feel like I have been scammed.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the charges for the 30 day supply that I have yet to receive!

Review: I thought I was ordering a trial size skin care product for a reasonable price of $4.95, to try it out. I am 87 years old with macular degeneration (very poor eyesight) and am told I am beginning symptoms of dementia (I have become easily confused ad forgetful.) After receiving the trial product, I later received another shipment of the same product. I did not order this, so was confused. When I received my [redacted] card bill I saw I had been charged an additional $98.73 for the second unexpected shipment. I was shocked. I hadn't opened it, so called to find out about returning. I live on a fixed income and can not afford this. The phone # on the bill was: 888-509-1289 TX. I called and was treated rudely and with disrespect. I was told by a woman named [redacted] that I knew what I was agreeing to when ordering the trial. I agreed to more shipments and can not return the unopened item. I explained my situation, that I did not know or agree, and can not afford. Thi[redacted] woman continued to be rude.Desired Settlement: Important to inform Revdex.com about these practices, so other elderly people are not tricked like I was. Would REALLY like to be refunded the $98.73. I would never buy facial cream for that price and can not afford it on my fixed income.

Review: https://avoirskin.com/LimitedOffer2N/index.php

This website claims free trials, just pay shipping, no commitments, but when you receive the product, they say they're going to charge $98.73 for Avoir Skin for .5 fl oz trial size and $94.53 for Velour Skin for .5 fl oz trial size. If you don't want to be charged, you have to incur the cost of returning the products. They then offer you a 35% discount, followed by a 50% discount, followed by a 75% discount if you complain, in hopes you'll keep the products and not return them. It is very deceptive and not clear when you place the trial order on the website! I spoke to a gentleman on the phone after placing the order, and he never mentioned the charges. He confirmed that I had 20 days to cancel, but never mentioned additional charges, other than the agreed upon shipping charges of $4.95 and $3.95.Desired Settlement: Don't require that the trial merchandise be returned, and if they do want it returned, send a prepaid return envelope. Credit my initial shipping charges, and change the website so that the terms and conditions of this so-called free trial are clearly spelled out to the consumer.

Review: Ordered a "free trial" of Avoir Anti-aging serum online at the avoirskin.net site. Read through information provided in disclaimer. Did not see anything about being charged $98.73 for product after 30 days and being involved in automatic delivery after "trial". This information is the usual seek and find and not obvious at all. I received a call from Avoir representative a day after initial order and they tried to sell me other products. I declined. I was instructed to call another person to cancel my order since it was still not very clear who I was dealing with. Called this number given and tried to confirm exactly who company was. I received the $98.73 charge on my credit card. I called the associated number on the statement. I was told the terms were on the site and that was responsible for the total cost because I hadn't called to cancel in 14 days. Was then told to get a lawyer. Tried speaking with company directly versus the independent sellers for this company. Met with very unprofessional people who just repeated the same things and were even unwilling to give me the address of the company. Very deceptive sales practices. Will never buy anything associated with this company again.Desired Settlement: This company should not be able to auto bill credit cards without clear authorization from consumer.

Review: I saw an ad for a skin care product for pay the shipping only. Then, I see a charge on my credit card for $98.73. I had NO idea that they would charge me any amount above the shipping charge. I thought that if I liked their product that I would have the opportunity to order more and then pay the regular price. Their website does not say that they will charge you without your consent or knowledge, or that you need to cancel their "Trial". I only found out about this "Trial" as a result of the charge on my credit card. As soon as I found out about their charge on my credit card I called them and cancelled any further transactions from this company. Confirmation number is [redacted] for cancelling from this company's ripoff.

This company is a ripoff. I want the charge removed/refunded from/to my credit card.

I actually still have the unopened product, and will return it upon request by the company.

I have filed a dispute with my Credit Card company Capital One today, which is in process.Desired Settlement: I want this company to remove/refund the entire $98.73 charge that they charged me for. Capital One is the Credit company.

that your experience with us was sup-par.

We assure you that our company is not a rip-off and does not rip-off our customers, and we feel terrible that you feel this way. The Trial that you joined was for a membership program where you receive monthly supplies of the trials you ordered. In your case that was Avoir Skin - Anti-Aging Serum.

However, as you were not

aware of this we have decided to issue you a 100% refund including the shipping

for the original trials. We've also left notes on your order details in our

system telling our support team to accommodate your with whatever

else you may need from us.

As a token of good

Should you need anything else please feel free to reach out to our support team by phone at 1-888-213-0671, or by email at [email protected], and they will assist you.

Review: I am writing for my 78 year old mother ([redacted]), who did not cancel this product within the 15 day trail period. She called customer service to obtain a RMA number to ship the product back so that she could get a refund. I also attempted to call the company on her behalf. They will not give an RMA number for a return unless she does a conference call with the bank that issued the credit card with which she made the purchase. My mother was sent two shipments of products from this company, and there was nothing in either package besides the skin care products. The company claimed that they had return information inside the packaging, and there was no return information included.Desired Settlement: We would like an RMA number so that she can return the product and get a refund.

Review: I ordered a trial Avoir anti-aging Serum and Velour Skin Cream from this company after seeing the changes in Ellen Degeneres's skin and Dr. Oz's recommendation online. I believed I was getting samples to try for 14 days. When I wasn't sure if I had ordered both, I called the company and the representative told me I had 14 days to cancel after I had tried it and then my credit card would be charged $89.00 for one and I don't remember the charge for the other one. It had already charged my credit card $4.95 and $3.95. I received the Avoir Anti-Aging Serum yesterday. When I started researching the company, I found some negative reviews, and called my credit card company to make sure there would be no more charges from this company. Then I called the company to opt out and was told about the terms and conditions which I did not see at the time of ordering. Beware, the terms and conditions are not on their website. Since ordering I received a call from QRI 866-379-2003 offering all kinds of things plus a $120 gas card free to be included in my order. I declined, since I recognized it as a bait and switch ploy. The company representative denied any knowledge of this company, but wasn't it to be included in my order? I still have not received one of the items and my question is this, Am I required to send the items back to them unused? I thought I was paying for a trial and not the full product. This is a shady company and not one that you want to have your credit card number. Since they can't charge my credit card, should I keep the product or return it to them?Desired Settlement: This company needs to be put out of business. Check the complaints online on people that have been scammed and money taken from them They go by other names but it is the same company in Santa Ana.

Ms. [redacted],

Do not buy these products!!! They are 95%water. Leave them uncovered for 24 hours and hardly any product is left in the container. It's a total scam because the real business here is to get your credit card information for monthly shipments of over priced mediocre products thus making your "free" trial sample cost hundreds of dollars before you realize what's going on. Read the extremely fine print!! A total sham.

Review: I saw an internet ad for a skin care product for pay the shipping only. I ordered 2 products on 10/31/2014. - 1 for $4.95 shipping and the other for $3.97. I received the products. When I got my November credit card statement I saw 2 charges from unknown merchants - $98.73 on 11/14 from TLC Trylexicare and $94.53 on 11/19 from EVOSKNCRE. I did not recognize either the amounts or the company names at all. When I searched for the company names on the web I found that they were both from the company that had offered the Avoir Skin Care products where I had clicked on the samples for "only" shipping charges. I had NO idea that they would charge me any amount above the shipping charge. I saw no "small print" and I received no invoice or other information with the products they shipped. I did not see anywhere on their website that I was signing up for continued shipments unless I canceled. I only found out about this "Trial" as a result of the charge on my credit card - when I called customer service and spoke with [redacted] on 11/28/2014. As soon as I found out about their charge on my credit card I called them and cancelled any further transactions from this company. Confirmation numbers are #[redacted] and #[redacted] for cancelling from this company's deceptive practice. [redacted] told me that I had 14 days from the date of my order to cancel - and it was 14 days from the date I ordered the product on 10/31/14. However, I never even received the product until 11/10/14 (and I had her confirm this as she had the tracking info) so no way I could try for 14 days - even if I were aware that this was the deal. I argued that this was deceptive and unfair. I was granted a 35% credit and this was "above and beyond". I don't want the product. I offered to return the product; was told they don't accept returns of opened products. How can I try it without opening it? I was shocked and disappointed that a business would operate in this manner.Desired Settlement: I request that this merchant credit my Bank of America credit card account for the remaining 65% of the charges made to me without my consent. This would be $94.53 minus $33.09 credit for one product ($61.44) and $98.73 minus $34.56 credit ($64.17) for the other. Total requested refund = $125.61. I will also dispute these charges with my credit company, but cannot do so until more time has passed from my initial contact with the merchant.

Review: I saw the ad from Dr Oz promoting a free trial. Just pay shipping.Ad said to read terms and conditions but they were nowhere to be found. They have charged my bank account $98.73. I am canceling my debit card so they can not charge me again but I still have the problem of the unauthorized charge.I hope you can help me get my money back. Thanks for you help.[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want the money back. I will also be working with my bank on this

Review: My niece did reside with me when she used my credit card information to purchase a skin care product for $4.95 for my birthday without my knowledge. Avoir charged my credit card $100.68 for the product that was not received. I called the company when I found this charge on my bank statement. I told them I did not order a product from them and the only person that had access to my credit information was my niece. My niece and I were not in town when the USPS stated the mail carrier delivered the product. Avoir stated they went above their policy by refunding me $74.05. My niece stated she would have never ordered the product if she knew the company was using bait and switch tactics because she was planning on giving me back the $4.95 that Avoir advertised the product for. This was a Avoir Skin Trial advertised for $4.95. Avoir charged two different amounts on my credit card, one for $1.95 on Sept. 20 and one for $98.73 on Oct. 6, 2014.

I would like for Avoir to refund the balance of $26.63 that was charged on my credit card. The post office investigation revealed the product was not insured which is the fault of the sender. I know my niece had good intentions and would never have purchased the product had she known the company was presenting false advertisement to the public about the cost of $4.95 for a trial.Desired Settlement: Refund of my $26.63

Mrs. [redacted],

Review: Several months ago I ordered a skin care product from this company that was advertised on Yahoo. They claimed the product was endorsed by Dr. Oz (from tv) The ad stated you had 14 days upon receipt of the product to cancel further orders. Once I received the product I used it 2x at which time my face broke out in a rash. Iphoned the company to inform them I wanted to cancel further orders and reason why. I spoke to someone who identifed himself as [redacted]. Once he verified my information he assured me my account would be cancelled. Shortly there after I noted Avoir withdrew $89.15 from my checking account. I attempted to again phone them to remind them of cancellation. I had to call at least 4 different phone numbers listed for this co. One number told me they were a "work out product". One number assured me they were not Avoir and didn't know anything about them. All the phone numbers had been listed either on their advertisement, e-mail,or packing list. I was finally reached them by first calling a company that was listed in the original advertisement. Please note that the other company has the same address but Avoir claims they do not know the other company. During this process Avoir sent me another package of their product which I immeadiately returned. They had withdrew another payment. When I reached Avoir I spoke to a person who identified herself as Sharnell. I attempted to explain to her the situation, my rash, calling to cancel order,2 unauthorized withdrawls ($89.15 ea.). She continually attempted to convince me to continue trying the product. She also continued to talk over me, refusing to listen to my concerns. She stated they would not refund my monies as they never received my call regarding stopping the order! She stated I was to have been given a cancellation number. I told her I had not received one. I continually requestedI be permitted to speak to a supervisor. She assured me she "knew as much as the supervisor" and refused me access. I then terminated call.Desired Settlement: I contacted my bank who stated they would temporarily refund my account until they followed up with this matter. I would like for this matter to be checked into to see if they are a legitimate co. and if not would like it to go on record so they cannot do this to someone else. I also would like the company to refund the money to my bank.

Review: I followed an ad that clearly stated there was a trial version of Avoir skin creme for 1.95.... There was no mention that it was a bait and switch.... There was no fine print attached that either which stated they would continue billing the customer for the product each month for 94.00.... For some reason the day that I received the product in the mail I decided to do a online research of the product and discovered through the complaints of other people that it was a scam that would misuse one's credit card and bill them for unrequested product.... I instantly sent an email to the company and told them I did not want any product... They said, " no problem, just send the sample back to the company and they would then cease to send any product, but the bottle had to be returned... That day I went to the post office and sent it back by Priority mail... Aprox. a month 3 weeks to a month later I received a product small package from the company and checked my credit card, and sure enough they billed my card 94.00... I returned the package... " Return to Sender".. and once again tried to contact the company by phone, with no success. Have written 3 emails but with no response... I am having to wait for a couple weeks before my bank will allow me to instigate a dispute of the charges... Am writing this complaint for clearly this is a scam which many others have also been taken. Hope there is something that you can do about this company. It is so very wrong to do this to people... Please help...Desired Settlement: I want this company to make full refund to my credit card, immediately.

I want this company to be shut down for scamming or comply to fair and professional business practices...

Review: On Oct 1 I went to Avoirskincare.net website where they offered a trial of an anti-aging serum for $1.95. The website makes not mention of 14 days or that you will be charged an additional $94.53. They also went ahead and charged automatically $3.95 for some Velour Skincare eye cream, which I was not going to order. I did not agree to the charge. They then charged me an additional $98.73 for the eye cream. They took an additional $193.26 for both products. The website does not say anywhere that there were additional charges. I have called the 888-509-1075 and they offered me $33.00 for each as a refund. I repeatedly said I wanted a full refund, and the customer service kept going on about how great the products is. I told her I have not even opened the bottles and they could have them back. She acted liked she didn't hear me. I was so upset and continued to tell her that I would return the product and wanted the full refund. The website does not tell you anything but in big letters "NO COMMITMENT". I would say that $193.26 is a big commitment. This company is involved in false advertising and unlawful charging to bank accounts. The second phone number that was listed on my bank account is 1-888-316-7950. I would never pay that kind of money for skincare. I was lead to believe this was a trial size for $1.95. I always look for additional charges before I purchase anything on line. There was nothing to indicate there was an account being set up or I would be charged any additional. Never would have done it if it was on the website.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $193.26 and I will be willing to return their products.

Mrs. [redacted],

Yes they get your credit card number to pay for shipping of the sample then keep billing you month after month. The product is terrible and when they sent me another jar I sent it back unopened. Imagine my horror when I checked my credit card and they had billed me for 4 months! I called my credit card company but they can't seem to do much about it. Then after I complained and they cancelled it about 2 weeks later I got 2 jars of it in the mail.....trying to make up for the charges on my card. Stay away from this company!
